Evaluation of Employees in Selected Organization

The thesis is focused on the evaluation system of employees in a chosen organization. The objective of this thesis is to assess the current system of the employee rating system and suggest some changes to improve this system. The evaluation of workers should interfere with the regular organizational planning and generally become a part of the whole organization management. The work elements of the 360 ° feedback method are used in the form of self-assessment forms. The summary of my findings is provided in the conclusion of this thesis.
Psychodiagnostic in Personnel Psychology

This thesis addresses the use of psychological assessment in personnel psychology and practice, specifically the relationship between selected personality characteristics of medical representatives in relation to their work performance. In the theoretical part, the selected methods of psychological testing of personality traits used in personnel psychology, with the focus on the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire 16 PF, are desribed. It also deals with the performance appraisal and attention is paid to assessment of employees in a broader context, the most frequent rating errors and the key methods of individual and group performance appraisal. The empirical part deals with the research that examines relationship between the personality characteristics of medical representatives working in a multinational pharmaceutical company to determine whether the most successful workers differ in personality traits from the lowest performing individuals, and what personality characteristics of the profession are exhibited. Survey of the validity of the methods of employee selection

The Diploma thesis "Survey of the Validity of the Methods of Employee Selection" deals with analysis of methods validity that is used for the company employees'selection. On the basis of literature studied, author identifies following keywords related to the subject of the diploma thesis: Human Resources Management, Vision, Business strategy, HR strategy, Human Resources planning, Employees' selection and recruitment, Fluctuation and Evaluation of Work performance. Author further focuses on the research of validity of personal selection methods that have already been published earlier. Author performed particular research solution that took place in three phases. The first stage explored an optimal mix of selection methods for recruitment according to particular positions. Respondents were experts specializing on issues of Human Resources issues. The second phase focused on research of validity of personal selection methods. Validity of selection methods was examined by correlation coefficient between predicted work performance estimated by the given method, and the measured real work performance of the recruited employee in the evaluation system of the work performance. Summary The subject of this thesis is the issue of employee evaluation in selected company. The theoretical part is focused on the findings of the evaluation of workers and draws from literature. It presents each method of employee evaluation, their advantages and disadvantages, and other determinants of employee evaluation process, such as objectives, evaluation criteria, its progress or errors that may occur. The practical part deals with research in a particular company. The source of information was an interview with a specialist human resources department area manager and a questionnaire survey among employees of company. According to the results of the survey is analyzed the current situation, functionality and satisfaction with the system. At the end of the thesis, after analyzing the information gathered, recommended concrete steps to improve the evaluation system in the company.
Factors affecting work performance in the organization

This dissertation deals with motivation and the factors affecting work performance of employees in the selected company. The aim of dissertation is find out which factors affecting work performance are used in the company Forte Beroun, spol. s. r. o. Further identify problem´s areas and suggest improvements. The theoretical part is based on literature reviews focusing on work performance, motivation and factors affecting work performance. The first part of practical work is made up of basic and organizational characteristics of the company and describing existing motivational and hygienic factors. The second part of practical work includes evaluation of an anonymous questionnaire survey on selected factors affecting work performance of employees. The survey results are suplement by controlled and non - standardized interviews. Based on the survey results are set critical areas and suggestions for their improvements.

This bachelor’s thesis concerns a system of evaluating and rewarding of employees in the company Průmyslová keramika,spol. s r.o. The work is divided in two parts, the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part is focused upon a theoretical foundation. In the practical part there is detailed analysis of the company and of its major competitors and there is also contained a research based on a questionnaire survey. The main part of the work consists of suggestions for improvement in the evaluating, rewarding and motivating of employees.

Through the analysis of the current situation and by means of a questionnaire, it assesses the state of the above mentioned areas within the company. Based on results of the research, recommendations regarding the system of remuneration and employee evaluation are suggested.
