Application for Controlled Access to Remote Documents for GNU/Linux
Bernard, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is synchronization and life cycle of files downloaded to user's computer from validated data storage. Based on market analysis there is large selection of applications in market but there are relatively large differences along them. Application was designed and implemented for GNU/Linux according to requirements and given validated data storage communication. The application was tested on two selected Linux distributions with Mock Server represententing remote storage.
A Hidden GNU/Linux File System
Pavlásek, Martin ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Lengál, Ondřej (advisor)
Some sensitive data need such a way of hiding that hides not only the content of the data but its preserve itself. The goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to create a file system that enables hiding of files with sensitive data to other files. This text contains an overview of principles used in current file systems and a description of the structure and use of the FUSE technology. Further, the work describes the design of a filesystem that hides files into ID3 tags of MP3 music files and it's implementation in C++. The created filesystem is experimentally assessed and evaluated.
Crane hooks, design and calculation
Vítů, Šimon ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the division, calculations, construction documentation and production procedures of crane hooks. The work includes a search of hook types, a procedure for calculation of a simple forged hook, and the work also lists manufacturers of crane hooks focusing on the European market. The work includes drawing documentation, drawing simple forged hook and production drawing of single lamella of single lamellar hook.
A File System Implementing Storage for Gentoo Portage Based on a Relational Database
Štulpa, Adam ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The thesis deals with an implementation of a program, which can make the data in relational database available as the standard storage Gentoo Portage with the assistance of  FUSE library. The reader is initially familiarised with its structure. There is an analysis of the requirements on the program and the database described in the work. Furthermore, their proposal is given and in the penultimate chapter, there is described the implementation of the program. In the conclusion, there are all the outcomes evaluated including the comparison with the standard file system and further development possibilities of the project are also described.
HelenOS VFS-FUSE connector
Bouška, Zdeněk ; Děcký, Martin (advisor) ; Tůma, Petr (referee)
This master thesis deals with the implementation of a connector between FUSE file system drivers and HelenOS native VFS interface. The thesis first describes the way of finding the best solution and the potential possibilities. The low level layer solution is described as the best one. Further the thesis describes the real implementation of the connector. As the implementation of the connector was successful the thesis then describes in detail the parts of the fully functional solution in real-life HelenOS system. With this solution in place almost no changes are necessary to be done neither in FUSE nor in Helenos VFS. The connector implementation is demonstrated on two real-life FUSE file systems exFAT and NTFS which were ported to HelenOS. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
