Supervision and Control System for a Hotel Implemented by IoT Means
Hockicko, Matej ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work solves the design and prototype implementation of supervision and control system for a hotel implemented by IoT means. The solution is based on ESP microcontrollers, which control the connected sensors and actuators. ESP devices are futher grouped and connected to central point within range. Using this point, MQTT communication is futher transmitted to the cloud. The cloud runs the IoT Core service, which allows to control and store the status of devices. There is also a Node-RED developmnet tool, in which a graphical interface was created for this system. The result of this work allows remote monitoring and control of the hotel using sensors and actuators connected to this network.
Comfort and Safety Systems - Diagnostic Methods
Slíž, Martin ; Lapčík, Josef (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This work deals with the division and description of the safety featutes of vehicles. Gradual entry into the safety of the crew of the car, from simple to very complex safety systems. The first part of this work deals with the basic division of safety features to active and passive systems. Here summarizes the most frequently used systems, their advantages and disadvantages. In the second part is described in detail system ABS (Anti-lock system), principle of operation, construction and other features of the system. The third part deals with the diagnosis of failures of security systems. It also included the creation of disorders, their symptoms and solutions. The last part of the two concrete examples of the use of diagnostic measurement system for ABS.
Design of Intelligent Network Module for 2D Radiation Data Acquisition
Lelek, Martin ; Polášková, Lenka (referee) ; Wilfert, Otakar (advisor)
This thesis describes about theoretical design and practical realization of self-contained module for intensity and absorbed dose measuring of X-Radiation from High Voltage X-RAY industrial sources. In the first part, thesis is focused on ways and solutions of radiation protection and principles of measuring absorbed dose and intensity of radiation and possibilities of sending measured data through sensor networks. In the second part, the complete schematic of measuring module is solved, critical blocks are tested and design of PCB is done. Detection circuit, blocks for optical and acoustic signaling, power management and control of the entire device are designed. Detection circuit uses a GM Tube. Next, main box of whole device is designed and made by 3D printing technology. The next step is putting hardware into operation and writing test firmware included verification of wireless communication through WiFi.
Distributed Control System with Dynamically Evolvable Nodes
Křek, Radim ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis describes creation of dynamically evolvable node, which will cooperate with other nodes. Group of these nodes will then create a distributed control system. The MQTT protocol is used for communications purposes between individual nodes. As hardware platform is used ESP32 and ESP8266. Whole operating system is written in MicroPython and supports a live uploading of user applications written in the same language. Later in thesis is decribed creation of monitoring node on Raspberry Pi, which control network. Complete system can be then used to control a intelligent house.
Risk Analysis of Self-Driven Vehicles
Weigel, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to design and implement system for risk analysis in self-driving cars. This thesis focused on design and implementation of system for risk analysis in models. One of the requirements for the system was to be flexible and robust. Design of the risk analysis was presented at theoretical level and then implemented in models of ABS and ESP systems in UPPAAL environment. The system was then tested via multiple experiments. The experiments were beneficial and the system for risk analysis correctly evaluated failure scenarios with adequate response to the rising level of risk. Experiment outputs were then presented at graphs with comment to each failure scenario.
Cryptographic protocols used in computer networks
Lúdik, Michal ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Doležel, Radek (advisor)
This work deals with the analysis of basic cryptographic protocols, principle of the authentication and verification of their safety. In the first part of the work is a short introduction to the issue - cryptography, some types of attacks, authentication and authorisation. In the second part is the analysis of protocols SSH, SSL, IPSec, and Kerberos, authentication and verification of their functionality and security under laboratory conditions.
Sensors for driver assistance systems
Ptáček, Martin ; Čala, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to vehicle stabilization systems, especially to the Anti-lock Braking System ABS, Anti-Skid Regulation ASR and Electronic Stability Program ESP. The main emphasis is placed on sensors needed for implementation of these systems and their required parameters. Findings learned are applied for the implementation of the stabilization system in the model car of the scale 1:10. The relation between the quality of measured sensor data and quality of the resulting stabilization is analyzed using model platfrom testing.
Sense of automation for mechanical products innovation
Šula, Jan ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
This work deals with the innovation in the automotive industry, in the braking system, especially with ABS, its development and importance in the context of improving road safety and, consequently, the reliability of vehicles. The introduction will describe the types of brakes used their advantages and disadvantages. The ABS will be described to me the selected vehicle.
Weight sensing of beehives with IoT connectivity
Havránek, Daniel ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kufa, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to make a device that can measure some beehive parameters, that can inform you about the conditions in a beehive. These parameters are beehive weight, inner and ambient temperature, inner and ambient humidity and air pressure. The device allows to send the measured data wirelessly through the 2G network and interpret the results in appropriate way. Low power consumption is desirable due to working without the reach of the distribution network.
The future of ADAS systems
Benešová, Simona ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This Bachelor´s thesis summarizes information about Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. This thesis deals with the explanation of the function of the systems, the description of the sensors that are used for these assistance systems and distribution of these systems. The thesis describes specific selected systems and their principles. In the conclusion of this thesis is predicted the direction of development of these systems in the future.
