Control plane analysis in 4th generation mobile networks
Hajn, Pavel ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the description of LTE system in terms of signaling on interfaces of LTE and EPC subsystems, such as UE initial network connection. The next section describes the types of diagnostic methods for mobile networks using OSS, drive testing and flow analysis. The thesis also aims at description of key performance indicators (independent service QoS parameters and the KPI for the radio part of the network). Part of the network measurement includes a description of the driver settings and views for analysis. It is also described the implementation of measuring and evaluating the results.
Modelling of Network Coding in Wireless Networks
Svobodník, Petr ; Miloš, Jiří (referee) ; Kuder, Zenon (advisor)
During data exchange in the Point-to-Point wireless topology, in case where end nodes aren’t accessible directly, a relay is deployed. However, the basic approach to relays – Store-and-Forward – isn’t the way to reach the maximum throughput. Network Coding operation is performed by combining data words (packets) travelling through the network in opposite directions into one packet. End nodes, with knowledge of the data sent, can decode received packet. Packet exchange is then finished in shorter time which results in an increase of network throughput. There are more methods of Network Coding which differ from each other in the time requirements or the ability to work in a noisy channel. In this paper they will be described and compared.
A design of a portion of a prototype of a new attendance system
Florians, Patrik ; Lipták, Ľuboš (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
Topic of this thesis discusses a proposed implementation of a part of a newly developed attendance system’s prototype for a company Global IT Center s.r.o. Theoretical section of the thesis includes various methods based on which an analysis of a current state and a proposal of a solution, which are located in later sections of this document have been formulated. An attendance system typically consists of multiple key components, however this thesis’ content includes only an analysis and a proposed implementation of a software part of the system – an attendance application. An analysis of a current state part includes a detailed analysis of a solution currently implemented in the company. The last part of this thesis – proposed solution includes a description of proposed implementation, which was implemented and tested using multiple technologically diverse environments.
Microcontroller based system for voice transfer
Kapitančik, Maroš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this thesis have to introduce us with digitalized transmission of speech with limited data flow and construct device witch can comunicate on this level. Theoretical part is describing base creation of sound human preception and issues with digitizing. Proposed device uses hardware codec VS1063a. Coding is applied with IMA ADPCM. Scale of incoming analog audio signal can be up to 4kHz. Inside system is controled by microcontroler, witch take care about others parts. For comunication with other moduls is used wireless transceivers module. Software part describes confuguration and selected options of every individual part. Next is explained principle of entire system. For comunication was implemented packet data structure. This implementation raised data flow but saved error state in transmit.
A Design of a Portion of Web Application for Overhead Cost Calculation
Florians, Patrik ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is to design a web application for overhead calculation, whose purpose is to be a substitution for presently used solution, which is considered to be deprecated. This is being done as a part of strategy of SAP SE corporation for which the solution is designed. This ambition to develop and improve cloud portfolio of already existing applications of the company should lead to betterment of already existing applications of this type and in a long run an improvement of the company’s market position as well as it’s products. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. It begins with a description of theoretical concepts, tools and principles, which are then utilized in further chapters. The following chapter analyzes current state of the affairs, where it is illustrated, what the current solution looks like along with key parts of it. The final, 3rd chapter is dedicated to a description of implemented solution and it also closely describes key differences mentioned in chapter 2.
Data Lineage Analysis for Qlik Sense
Jurčo, Andrej ; Parízek, Pavel (advisor) ; Blicha, Martin (referee)
Business Intelligence has become essential for all companies and organizations in the world over the past few years when it comes to decision-making and observing long-term trends. It often happens that Business Intelligence tools that are used become very com- plex over time and it can then be very difficult to make any changes. Data lineage solves this problem by visualizing data flows and showing relative dependencies. Manta Flow is the platform which creates such lineage which supports programming languages (Java, C), databases (Oracle, MS SQL) or Business Intelligence tools (Cognos, Qlik Sense). The goal of this thesis was to implement a prototype of a scanner module for the Manta Flow platform, which would analyze data flows in Qlik Sense and create a data lineage graph from data sources to the presentation layer. This module extracts metadata neces- sary for the analysis, resolves the objects that are present in the Qlik Sense applications, and analyzes data flows in them. The resulting data lineage graph is then visualized by other components of the Manta Flow platform. 1
Design and implementation of network collector
Bošeľa, Jaroslav ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Oujezský, Václav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with description of information protocol of network flow, mainly definition of Cisco NetFlow version 9. Describes it’s features, message format and attributes of transmitted data. The thesis is primarly focused onto NetFlow v9 transmitted template, which defines fileds and data in consecutive data flow. The essence of the thesis consists in implementation of simple NetFlow v9 parser, which has been programmed in Python prog.language, it’s tests of captured UDP data from file and port capture testing on development server in lab. There is a possibility of saving captured and parsed data into prepared database within implementation as output from capturing.
Static data flow analysis for Java programs
Mečiar, Martin ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
This thesis proposes a methodology for an acquisition of dependencies between outputs and inputs in Java programs by using static program analysis on bytecode of Java programs. JaBSSA methodology designed by the author is presented in the thesis. The methodology is based on a construction of context-sensitive call graph of the analyzed program and subsequent construction of directed data flow graph, where nodes containing particular metadata represent inputs and outputs of the analyzed program and edges represent data flows amongst them present in the analyzed program. The program on added CD contains JaBSSA's implemen- tation, which serves as a proof of the proposed concept. Java program examples together with test suite generating results of JaBSSA's implementation upon pre- pared Java program examples are part of the program. These generated results are used for demonstration of capabilities and flaws of the proposed concept. 1
Generating of Testing Models from Source Code
Kraut, Daniel ; Malík, Viktor (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the masters thesis is to design and implement a tool for automatic generation of paths in source code. Firstly was acquired a study of model based testing and possible design for the desired automatic generator based on coverage criteria defined on CFG model. The main point of the master theis is the tool design and description of its implementation. The tool supports many coverage criteria, which allows the user of such tool to focus on specific artefact of the system under test. Moreover, this tool is tuned to allow aditional requirements on the size of generated test suite, reflecting real world practical usage. The generator was implemented in C++ language and web interface for it in Python language, which at the same time is used to integrated the tool into Testos platform.
