Stochastic activity networks
Sůva, Pavel ; Dupačová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kaňková, Vlasta (referee)
In the present work, stochastic network models representing a project as a set of activities are studied, as well as different approaches to these models. The critical path method, stochastic network models with probability constraints, finding a reference project duration, worst-case analysis in stochastic networks and optimization of the parameters of the probability distributions of the activity durations are studied. Use of stochastic network models in telecommunications networks is also briefly presented. In a numerical study, some of these models are implemented and the~related numerical results are analyzed.
Reporting - ERP System
Pála, Milan ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with creating a module for existing ERP system. Module should be able to produce dataprogress of production, monitor productivity of production and warn if some issue will happen. This work evaluates a processing of a large amount of data and it shows different possibilities how to precalculate data. It also deals with a draft how to predict information from known data.
Visualisation of Gantt Chart for Android Platform
Douděra, Martin ; Jurzykowski, Michal (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with development of an application for mobile device based on Android operating system. The application is used for planning projects. Plans are visualised by Gantt chart which is extended by dependencies and resource assignment. There are described principles of creating an application for Android devices and planning with a Gantt chart in this thesis . Application design and an implementation for the target platform follows. The application is published on Google Play.
Proposal of the Implementation of the Project Management Methodology into the Company
Vojta, Lubomír ; Pokorná, Martina (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma theses deals with the challenges of a project management in a particular construction company that handles projects on daily basis. I focused on the analysis of a particular project in this company, that has been successfully implemented. This analysis served as a starting point for the designing of the changes, as well as a devising a tool that simplifies the set up of the changes into practice. Selected problem was solved by comparing the project management methodology in the project with the project management practices officially proposed in the literature. Tool design was carried out in the environment of Microsoft Excel. I managed to design a tool in which the shortcomings are treated the way that facilitates their implementation into practice, especially by using an easy environment and outputs well-arranged for the user. This tool is therefore mainly used to eliminate the identified shortcomings and thus to facilitate and simplify project management in practice.
Optimization of Project Management using IT Technologies
Kořínek, Tomislav ; Přibil, Jiří (advisor) ; Bína, Vladislav (referee)
The goal of the dissertation is to find an effective form of optimization of the progress developer projects using IT technology in the point of view of a project manager. The theoretical part of the dissertation is dedicated to the project management's theory and clarification all used terms. After the theoretical part follows the description of progress of a standard developer project of building a department store. The fourth part is dedicated to the freely available software for a project management in perspective of applicability for a project control, a documentation process and sharing comments to be used inside a company in relation to the other external companies. Then follows a description of the concrete developer project in help of the management theory contained in the second part including activities definition, their logical sequence and competence math. Within the seventh part the first is identified a critical path in using CPM method (Critical Path Method) and then there are described the critical parts of the project and a description of solving the optimization of the project management, which provides a selected software product. At the end of the seventh part is appraised how successfully the critical parts of the project were optimized and increased the efficiency of the work of the project team.
Planning and project management - the possibility of applying simulation techniques
ŠEFRÁNEK, Jaroslav
From the knowledge gained by studying scientific publications and other resources on possibilities of applying stochastic approach in planning, directing and controlling the projects will be evaluated time analysis of the construction project. The project will be analyzed using simulation techniques. The subject of research, the project Modernization of the Czech Budejovice - Nemanice, which will be designed for appropriate recommendations.
Project Management: Implementation of computer networks in the building
VOBOŘIL, Ondřej
This thesis deals the general project management, but also to solve a specific real project in MS Project 2007. In the theoretical introduction to project management includes among other things, an explanation of basic concepts, an overview of the characteristics used for assessing and monitoring the project, description of methods and general familiarization with MS Project. Application part of the work will be based on actual data and focuses on project implementation the computer network in a particular object. After closer inspection of the project is done time analysis, resource and cost analysis.
Project Planning: Opening the Italian foodstuffs shop
Jeřábková, Eva ; Flusserová, Lenka (advisor) ; Kořenář, Václav (referee)
The work is focused on planning the project aiming at opening the Italian foodstuffs shop. In the theoretical part the main terms and definitions in project management are explained and the most frequent methods being used in project management are described. The practical part is concentrated on the project itself. For project planning the application Microsoft Office Project has been used. The periods of project duration and the total costs having been found out are compared with the trader demands and the decision concerning the project realization is taken.
