Polách, Dominik ; Smetáčková, Irena (advisor) ; Vozková, Anna (referee)
My bachelor's thesis "Experiences of LGB teachers in Czech primary schools" seeks to describe how homosexual teachers deal with their sexual orientation in their pedagogical practice. This then raises further questions, in particular, how LGB teachers perceive their sexual orientation in relation to pedagogical practice, how open LGB teachers are in their work environment with their orientation, whether there are differences in this openness in relation to colleagues, to pupils and their parents and whether homosexual teachers face any problems with their orientation in the work environment. In the theoretical part of the thesis I deal with basic facts and terminology related to the issue of sexuality and the issue of the teaching profession. In the practical part, qualitative research is carried out in the form of interviews with nine informants. Based on the thematic analysis it was found that homosexual teachers are more open with their sexual orientation and encounter manifestations of homophobia rather rarely. Homosexual teachers are aware of the fact that they can openly alleviate the occurrence of homophobia among students and at the same time directly or indirectly support students who are facing coming out themselves. However, school management plays a major role in openness, along with...

Presented thesis deals with conversations that arise within the online mentoring counseling center "S barvou ven". Mainly young people going through the process of coming out are the target group of counseling center. In the theoretical part of thesis, I describe the counseling center, the social atmosphere that prevails around the issue of people with minority sexual orientation, clarify what a mentoring relationship is and its importance in the lives of adolescents and describe the process of coming out. The empirical part deals with the qualitative analysis of nineteen conversations. The results of the analysis showed that clients entering the counseling center use the conversation with the mentor to meet various needs, from the need to share their feelings or experiences to the desire to find their "friend" or partner in the mentor. The results of the second part of the analysis provide an indicative overview of the client's needs, as well as when and why their needs could or could not be met. The results also show how mentors work with needs which clients can not consciously describe. Last but not least, the results overview shows that mentors use a wide range of questions, offer information or provide clients, for example, a sense of belonging or hope, or offer their own experience.

Homosexuality as a health-social problem
LEDREROVÁ, Pavla
The main aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out what are the difficult life situations of gays and the problems that these situations bring. The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with the theoretical starting points for the given topic. I focus on defining homosexuality, dividing homosexuality throughout history, then dealing with it in various countries, defining the concept of coming out, describing the influences of the environment and education on homosexuality. I also focus on the notion of discrimination, defining it and defining it with regard to homosexuality. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, I describe the difficult life situation of homosexuals. I describe here homosexuality as such and other partial problems and situations that homosexuals encounter. Such issues include, for example, registered partnerships, blood donation or sickness associated with homosexuality. The practical part defines the research problem, the research objectives and the research questions. The aim of the research section is to find out the difficult life situations of homosexuals and the problems that they bring. I tried to describe the life experiences of homosexuals sensitively, I also devoted myself to the very sensitive aspects of life, including self-orientation, sex issues and partnerships. The situation has been assessed from a health and social point of view. The research design of anchored theory and open encoding method was used here. The semi-structured interview method was used to collect the data. The survey was conducted with eight informants, who responded to predefined questions that were supplemented as needed. In the framework of the research, eight headings were established, based on the clustering of the most fundamental concepts of research, which are detailed in the research results. The most difficult life situations were the following: recognition with the family informant and reconciliation, generally partnership relations and the registered partnership. In my opinion, it was most difficult for most of them to admit their sexual orientation to the family and face the face themselves.

The theoretical part describes the development of sexual and gender identity, focusing mainly on adolescence. Information on LGBT people was also provided. Separate chapter was dedicated to the issue of coming out. In the practical part, thematic analysis of chat conversations was carried out. Based on this, four categories of topics were identified - internal coming out, external coming out, reactions to coming out and partner relationships.
