Formula Student Cooling System
Marek, Jiří ; Šebela, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with Formula Student cooling system, analysis of the current cooling system, it’s construction and possibilites for it’s improvements. Based on the research of Formula Student cooling systems, the water radiator was implemented into rear double diffuser in order to support aerodynamics and other important parameters for overal vehicle dynamics. Some of the computational resources were supplied by the project "e-Infrastruktura CZ" (e-INFRA LM2018140) provided within the program Projects of Large Research, Development and Innovations Infrastructures.
Water Cooler for Formula Engine
Malovaný, Daniel ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the radiators and cooling systems used in cars participating in the competition Formula Student/SAE. Furthermore, based on input conditions to make a basic calculation and design of the water cooler and in the end of this work to evaluate the proposal.
Systém aktivního chlazení fotovoltaických panelů pro zvýšení jejich účinnosti
LANDKAMER, Ladislav
The work was divided into two main parts. The first one dealt with the analysis of the problem of influencing the performance of photovoltaic panels by active cooling. Based on the results of the analysis, an optimal system for active cooling was designed with respect to the performance enhancement but also to the damage elimination possibilities. The parameters for the implementation of the system were specified depending on the analysis performed. This analysis provided answers to the choice of the appropriate technology and to the technical design of the whole system. The second part of the work presented the actual technical solution. In the form of its design, construction, programming and testing of the resulting system.
Control and regulation of the temperature of the drug transport box
Maťašová, Daniela ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the solution of drug transport in a transport box over longer distances. The work also deals with sensors for temperature measurement and methods of its control and regulation. The essence is the design, implementation and verification of the functionality of the transport device, which allows the display of continuous information about the state of the temperature inside the transport box. Temperature control is powered from the car’s on-board network and temperature sensing is powered independently. The transport device allows the setting of the limit temperature up to 35 °C, while exceeding it is indicated by an acoustic and visual alarm. The transport box, which is the result of the work, allows the transport of drugs, and ultimately meets all the requirements of the assignment.
Autonomous liquid storage with cooling system
Boch, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Husák, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an autonomous liquid storage cell with a cooling system. The cell is part of a larger project called the Self-Acting Barman. The cell follows the basic principles of Industry 4.0 and is also an example of a batch process according to the ANSI / ISA-S88 standard. At the beginning, the theoretical part describes important ideas and principles related to this project. The next chapter then discusses the construction design of the cell and its physical implementation. Parts were modeled in the Siemens NX program and subsequently these parts were created using 3D printing technology. In the next chapter the individual instrumentation used in the cell is described. In the last two chapters, the electrical connection of the whole cell and the software of the cell are then discussed. The cell wiring diagram is created in the E-Plan program and the cell software was created in the Siemens TIA Portal program.
Cooling system for Industry 4 demonstrator
Cviček, Pavel ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and implement a cooling system that will be able to distribute a cooled medium. The individual parts will deal with the description and design of equipment, as well as the selection of components, including electrical ones. It will also include a description of the implementation of the equipment and the control program that will ensure the proper operation of the system. One of the goals is to create a virtual model that will serve for accurate design and also as a check whether all predetermined and required parameters for construction have been complied with. Finally, the work of the system as a whole will be evaluated.
Formula Student cooling system
Krmíček, Antonín ; Böhm, Michael (referee) ; Šebela, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with cooling system of Formula Student vehicle with electric drive. The Thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part describes reasons and requirements for cooling, the limits of components and methods of their cooling. The next part is focused on analysis of cooling of single-seater Dragon e1, which obtains the inputs to the design part. Design part contains calculations of losses in inverter and electric motors. The parameters of exchangers and assembly of the cooling circuit are determined. The request is that the operating temperatures are not exceeded during the races. By obtaining more accurate inputs to the calculations, the optimal parameters of the proposed components are achieved.

Cooling of a powerful light source
Tulis, Vojtěch ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on calculating the thermal resistance of the line light source and the design of the cooling system with ideal inlet temperature. The partial aim of the work is in cooperation with CAMEA spol. s r. o. to determine the thermal resistances of the individual parts of the device and propose modifications so that the total thermal resistance and the maximum temperature are within the limits given by the cooperating firm. The main objective is to design a cooling system with all safety features and recommended regulation for economical and reliable operation. Analytical calculations, CFD simulations and real-world testing are used to determine the desired results. A reduction by 30% in thermal resistance of the printed circuit board was achieved, the thermal resistance of the aluminum profile with the cooling channel was determined and its hydraulic properties were calculated. The current cooling system designed by CAMEA spol. s r. o. for less powerful diodes was verified for use in a more powerful system, and a new cooling system was designed for efficient and economical operation in a powerful diode system.
Airplane Cooling System Optimization
Lajza, Ondřej ; Fiľakovský, Karol (referee) ; Horák, Aleš (referee) ; Píštěk, Antonín (advisor)
Dissertation thesis is focused on the aircraft cooling system optimization. The knowledge of the pressure loss is necessity for design of an optimal system. In the beginning of the thesis, the different designs of piston engine cooling systems are described for both aircrafts and automobiles. Other sections outline the determination of the coolers characteristics and describe the different test sections applicable for the characteristics measurement. The test section built at the Institute of the aerospace engineering is described as well. Practical part of the thesis describes the calibration of the test section. The measurements of the specific coolers were compared with the CFD simulation of two models - the simplified cooler model and cooler element model. Additionally, the measurements were compared with results obtained at specialized coolers testing facility.
