The final thesis deals with creating the business plan Letsgood.com s.r.o., which create modern software. Thesis is focused on strategic management and practical experiences of the author, which are gathered during his study, employment in the software company and his business. The aim of the thesis is to create a business plan up to 2016. In the theoretical part, author focuses on the comparison of various definitions of entrepreneurship, strategic corporate management and startup establishment. The beginning of the practical part describes company and its products. Next chapter forms definition of the market category, market and strategic analysis. The result of the analysis is projected to marketing strategy. Chapter people and financial plan eventually gives readers a realistic picture of the company's ambitions.
Application of dashboards in the area of support of IT management

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of IT management in the companies, which is described in the MBI (Management of Business Informatics) model, at all levels of IT management in the way how they are defined and used by MBI. The main goal of this diploma thesis is design and create (new/modified) content in the area of IT management in the MBI model for broader usage of this model in the company sphere. The main goal is fulfilled by fulfilling of two sub-goals. Firstly, it is designing and creating new metrics, dimensions and applications or modification (extension) of already existing content in MBI model. Secondly, it is implementation of new or (selected) modified content with Microsoft PowerPivot into the form of interactive applications and then into the dashboards composed from them. The structure of this diploma thesis is adjusted to make those sub-goals achievable. The structure is divided into theoretical and practical section containing together six main parts. Firstly, the two most widely used methodologies of IT management and mainly MBI model are described. Then the definitions of metric (as a main instrument, which is used in IT management) and its attributes are described. Following section contains definition of dashboards and basic description about their designing and creating. In the last part of the theoretical section are described metrics, dimensions, applications and their connections in the MBI model. First part of practical section is about designing and creating of new metrics, dimensions and applications or modifying of already existing content. The last part of this thesis contains implementation of a new or (selected) modified content into applications or dashboards. Main benefit of this diploma thesis is enrichment of existing content in the MBI model in IT management (specifically in the metrics, the dimensions, the applications and the dashboards based on those three things), which improved usability of the MBI in practical usage. Thanks to this extended content, the users or mainly the management employees can react in better way on the potential problems, have better overview about level of quality of the IT resources, can manage the employees in better way and can coordinate quality and quantity of the IT outputs in better way in general.

This thesis deals with the concept of corporate performance management. The main goal is to present the main aspects of business performance and prosperity and according to this find the way to prosperity. The work is divided into several parts. The first part is focused on the theoretical basis of business management prosperity. The second part deals with the concept of performance management. The third part deals with the forecasting function. The last part is the application of theoretical knowledge from previous sections. Unfortunately, the area of corporate performance management and business prosperity is so broad and the scope of this thesis is limited. This applies to the methods that can be used. Emphasis was placed on the most used methods. The thesis should provide a comprehensive view on this issue.
Key aspects of web applications according to their business focus

The main focus of this diploma thesis is the characteristics of key aspects, which are important when designing, implementing and maintaining web application, whereas these aspects differ according to business model of the web application. The thesis reflects modern trends in the areas of web project management, UX, web design, E-Commerce process management etc. The thesis consists of the introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. In the introduction I present the reason for picking this topic, the more in-depth targets of the thesis, preconditions, restrictions, in-depth structure, sum-up the expected contribution and present research of the field. The theoretical part consists of the information about online business and introduction of the web applications. Furthermore, the key domains are presented with the new trends in different areas of web applications. In the practical part, at the beginning, there are categories of web applications defined, which are based on different business models introduced earlier. This part is followed by the comprehensive analysis in the field of web E-Commerce applications for each category of the web application, with the output of trends and best practices in the field according to each domain of the web application. It is then followed by the analysis of situation around web applications in general, because here were also some trends and best practice noticed. In conclusion I sum up the acquired results, introduce the contribution of the thesis and think about the situation around the web applications.
China as a business partner for Czech companies

The thesis is divided into five main parts. In the introduction the author deals with fundamental analysis describing trade with China. The author describes strenghts and weaknesses of trading with China, choosing the right business partner and preparation of contracts. Furthermore, the author focuses on goods, which is on the Chinese market worth trading as well as on main projects, which are between the Czech Republic and China. In the thesis will be presented also important points of trading, such as mean of transport, market entry or basic iformation about chinese etiquette, which plays a major role. At the end of the thesis, there are two case studies that describe a specific example of trading.
Founding of Franchise Restaurant VAPIANO

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to create a business plan for setting up a franchise restaurant Vapiano in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to entrepreneurship in general, where we will define basic terms. In the next part, we will show what a business plan should look like and what requisites it should have. In the third chapter, we will introduce chosen legislative aspects concerning doing business in the Czech Republic. That will concern especially the conditions necessary for doing business and the choice of the right legal form of the company. In the fourth chapter, we will show what the possibilities of financing the business are. Fifth chapter is dedicated to the franchising as a specific form of business. Practical part of this thesis is going to be the business plan itself, namely business plan of Norwega, LLC, the intention of which is to set up the Vapiano restaurant in Prague.
Cultural differences and women in business

This thesis deals with the issue of cultural differences and women in business. The goal is to, based on the division of the world into seven cultural units, present a global perspective on women's position in society and their percentage in managerial positions in selected countries representing different world cultures. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first is the theoretical introduction to culture and comprehensive picture of the cultural diversity of the contemporary world. The second chapter discusses the role and status of women in the world, again in terms of world cultures. The third final chapter is an analysis of women in business in selected countries of the world's cultures; the goal is to determine the relationship between the status of women in society and the possibility of her career advancement.
