Construction of class T audio amplifier
Tejmlová, Lenka ; Slezák, Josef (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is to collect information about amplifiers, working in the T class. Because these amplifiers are usually used as digital power processing audio amplifiers, we mostly insist on the ability of sending, the signal without distortion, to amplify the frequency broadband signal, to obtain the high efficiency of the output stages and to obtain the peak quality of the sound. My task is to gather information and facts of principle of the function of the audio amplifiers working in the T class and reasonably priced integrated circuits of this class. Furthermore I am going to focus on the design of wiring of this amplifier with the 2x20 watts output, including the correction pre-amplifier, which provides correction of the heights, basses and volume. The amplifier is realized, in the end of bachelor’s thesis, there are measured it’s characteristics, which are compared to theory.
Class D 2.1 audio amplifier for laboratory measurements
Děcká, Klára ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with a draft and construction of the design of an class D audio amplifier with pulse width modulation. The resulting design consists of a supply protection, an active crossover and the output power stage itself. The amplifier is made in 2.1 configuration, the amplifier for mid/high audio frequency drives 2 × 30 W output into a 8 load, subwoofer drives 1 × 100 W into a 2 load. The control centre of the whole application is an integrated circuit TPA3116D2 by Texas Instruments company. The resulting audio amplifier will be used as a device for laboratory measurements.
Design of class D audio power amplifier for home use
Raba, Jaroslav ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and construction of a complete audio power amplifier 2x100W of Class D. The proposal contains an active correction preamplifier unit, a power supply unit and indicator unit of the amplifier excitation. The power amplifier is composed of an integrated circuit TAS5611A from Texas Instruments. The correction preamplifier is controlled by four potentiometers. Excitation of the amplifier is displayed using LEDs. Basic parameters are measured and evaluated for all blocks of the amplifier.
Audio amplifier for detecting wood-destroying pests
Jaroš, Ondřej ; Křepelka, Pavel (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on design of detector of wood-destroying pests, which is solved by using an acoustic sound source with piezo electric element as a sensor. The acquired signal is step by step amplified to a level when we can observe the audio spectrum using a headphone. The realized audio amplifier is complemented supplemented by an active analog filter for the ability to listen to a narrower frequency spectrum. The next feature of the detector is that it displays the frequency spectrum on an LCD display ranging from 0 Hz to 10 kHz. The spectrum of the signal is acquired by using DFT transformation. Analysis of the device is firstly described from the theoretical part through the realized design. At the end of document the results are summarized.
Automated workplace for amplifier parameters measurement
Jurčík, Petr ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an automated workplace for measuring the basic parameters of audio amplifiers using a graphical programming environment LabVIEW. Subsequently, the functionality will be verified in practical measurements on the real amplifier.
Class D stereo audio power amplifier
Kazelle, Kamil ; Dostál, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The content of this project is design of stereo audio amlifier working in class D with output power 2x20W. Project includes also a design of preamplifier and power supply. This project is divided into the four parts. In first part the theory and problems of amplifiers working in class D is resumed, in the second the designed circuits are dicussed, in the third the results of simulations in the program PSpice are presented and the last part of project describes the realization and presents the results of measurements.
Design of an audio amplifier is class D
Holínský, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (advisor)
The thesis deals with principles of individual types of low frequency amplifiers. There are described principles of amplifiers in different classes with respect to their distortion and efficiency. Type D amplifier is described in detail block by block. There are also designed blocks of audio amplifier in the class D. The selection of components according to the necessary parameters is considered. The audio amplifier is designed so that its output power is closer to 100 watts per channel.
Construction and Control of Audio Amplifier
Dohnal, Ondřej ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Bidlo, Michal (advisor)
Audio amplifiers are parts and parcels of electronic devices. Their goal is to convert weak signals into stronger signals. This thesis deals with the design of an amplifier using vacuum tubes, which parameters can be adjusted remotely for example using a mobile phone. The thesis first describes the amplifiers and their specification. Furthermore, the issue of their design and the possibility of remote control is described in the thesis. As part of the work, an amplifier, a signal processor enabling its control and a communication interface used for control are designed and implemented.
Design of audio power amplifier with Bluetooth connectivity
Bartoň, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the task of designing an audio amplifier, operating in class D, with a nominal output power of 2 x 80 W with Bluetooth connectivity, supplemented by an equalizer and a state display. A power supply and a user interface are designed as well. At first, research regarding audio amplifiers is made, followed by a more thorough description of class D operating principles. Afterwards the actual synthesis of the desired amplifier is presented, followed by the power supply design procedure. The correctness of the synthesis is later verified by simulations in PSpice and LTSpice. Theoretical design is then practically built, and its parameters are confronted with expected values by measurements.
A Laboratory Task: Oscilloscope Measurement
Malý, Ondřej ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a signal generator for a laboratory task of the subject HELE. As a generating chip is used ICL 8038 that can generate three types of waveform – sinus, square wave and triangle. The frequency range is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in selected circuit. Output is connected to oscilloscope probe, but also to 3.5mm headphone jack through which can be the selected waveform listened to on the connected headphones or speakers and measure the audible threshold.
