Automated Attacks on WiFi Networks with Low Detectability and Defense Against Them
Klusáček, Jan ; Vrána, Roman (referee) ; Orsák, Michal (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a tool which can be used for automated Wi-Fi attacks. All types of Wi-Fi security are described, with attacks, which can be used on specific security type. Existing tools used for hacking are described further, of which several are included to the final tool.
Analysis of Wireless Signal Coverage
Šimek, Petr ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis describes process of design and development of the system for calculating the coverage of wireless networks, it is implemented as a web portal and written in the Java programming language. The text of the thesis describes the work with the used platforms, a description of the ITU-R calculation method P.1812, which is used for calculation electric field strength and basic information about electromagnetic waves. The main function of the system is to calculate and display coverage of wireless networks and customer management information.
Wireless model 802.11 in NS2
Botta, Miroslav ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Theme of this work is simple wireless simulation Network Simulation 2 tool. The work consists of more parts. In the first section is basic theory about Wi-Fi networks, they types and standards and describes how useful can it be in practical life. In the second section there is a short annotation for programming in TCL language and possibilities of NS2 for simulating wireless networks. In the end there is a complex simulation of this network. In the third part there are two complex tasks where the information’s are drawn from the previous two parts.
Wireless Network
Hrůza, Pavel ; MBA, Zdeněk Podlipný, (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on wireless network design. In the beginning it describes technologies, which are used for building of modern wireless networks. Practical part of thesis uses these technologies during creation of wireless network for company WALMARK.
Routing in Wireless Networks
Janský, Václav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with routing protocols for ad hoc wireless networks. First ad hoc networks are introduced. Routing protocols are then classified according to several criteria. Four routing protocols algorithms are described. They are proactive protocols DSDV and CGSR, reactive DSR and hybrid ZRP. Next AODV routing protocol is described in details. Advantages and disadvantages of AODV and two variants of AODV are also introduced. A new protocol is designed based on the disadvantages of the AODV protocol. This work also describes the implementation and integration of the new protocol in the ns-2 simulator. Results of the simulations are presented.
Critical Parameters for Wireless Networks WiFi and WiMAX
Grenar, Milan ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Baroňák, Ivan (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
My thesis will be aimed at problems of wireless networks WiFi and WiMAX. A modelling of network will be put into effect onto which the measurement will be implemented and the impacts of network load on the data transfer Quality of Service (QoS) will be examined with aiming at VoIP. On this network model a power failure will be simulated and the impacts of this failure after restoring the power supply will be monitored. The aim of this thesis is to check the rate of network throughput while preserving a providing service quality and to suggest an economica1ly acceptable solution of the problems relating to feeding tension outage of the access point (AP) for a practical usage in these networks.
Design of smart sensor equipped with LoRa technology
Šigut, Štěpán ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee) ; Štůsek, Martin (advisor)
Over the past years few trends have become as profound in the technology industry as yearly increases in battery capacity, transistor density and price drops for computing power. These trends follow a steep curve and drive what has become known as IoT or Internet of Things. Ever increasing number of devices connected to the internet are putting high demands on wireless network technologies. During the last decade several new wireless technologies have emerged and are competing to become the next go-to technologies for applications such as smart cities, smart cars and smart factories. LoRaWAN is one relatively new competitor to the market and is the central topic of this thesis.
Analysis of wireless network attacks
Kačic, Matej ; Dočkal,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This work describes security mechanisms of wireless network based on 802.11 standard and security enhancement 802.11i of these networks known as WPA2, where the analysis of vulnerabilities and attacks on these networks were performed. The work discusses two major security issues. The first is unsecure management frames responsible for vulnerability with direct impact on availability and the other is the vulnerability that allows executing the impersonalize type of attacks. The system for generation attacks was designed to realize any attack very fast and efficient. The core of the thesis is the design of a system for attack analysis using the principle of trust and reputation computation. The conclusion of the work is devoted to experimenting with the proposed system, especially with the selection of suitable metrics for calculating the trust value.
ZigBee in Building Automation
Liška, Radovan ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
Improvement of wireless technologies is a natural consequence of the progress in the field of science and technology. Usage of wireless networks based on the ZigBee technology, which are capable of indepent operation in present form, providing detailed information about physical environment and process management, brings many advantages. On the other hand, there is a serious issue about commissioning. This Master's Thesis deals with introduction of ZigBee technology and its usage, describes issue about device commissioning and types of commissioning. The main part of the Thesis is my own proposal for solving this problem, proposing algorithm using the Bitcloud stack for Coordinator, End Device and Router and its demonstration at the application. Along with analysing the application there are described possible solutions for creating a new network, adding a new node into the existing network and changing a node. The result is a graphical application and firmware for each device. The result of succesfully associated devices in network is supported by the measurement.
Wireless Network
Götthans, Jakub ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and realization of WLAN at GK SERVIS, spol. s r.o. The conception will be verified by measuring the functionality, security and reliability. The thesis is divided into theoretical, analytical and practical. The first part will discuss the theoretical problems of processing of wireless networks, in the second part analyzed the current status of LAN and WLAN in the last section has been prepared by the project and subsequently realized.
