Animation and Animated Film in Art Education

The thesis deals with the use of animated films in art education. It presents animation as a modern and accessible form of education which stimulates children's creativity, social and communication skills and their ability to teamwork. It describes the positive potential of animation in education as well as some problematic issues and their feasible solutions. The author builds on the best practise of Czech and foreign teachers and practitioners of the education of animation but also on her own experience in the field. The text is supplemented by a blog website that makes the experience accessible to teachers interested in the topic and to the general public. Limits of copyright in visual art

Résumé: Limits of work of copyright in visual art This diploma thesis primarily deals with the concept of copyright work in the current Czech law and its relation towards works of contemporary visual art. The main aim of this thesis is to carry out a complex analysis of conceptual features of work of copyright under the Czech Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll. (including key and not always properly interpreted terms such as work of art, originality, or creativity) and then to apply these features to examples of the world's major works of visual art from the twentieth and twenty-first century. Author of this thesis tries to find out whether even specific works of visual art "meet legal requirements" imposed on works of copyright and thus may enjoy the copyright protection in the Czech legal system. It is the effort to identify boundaries between works of copyright and objects which are not under the protection of copyright law what is reflected in the title of this diploma thesis. This thesis is aimed at Václav Vokolek's life, particularly from the artistic and professional sides. Václav Vokolek belongs to a significant cultural family, which is also reflected throughout his whole life, not only in his work and priorities but also in the circle of his close friends. From the theoretical point of view, the diploma thesis is based primarily on a method of oral history because there were some summarising pieces of work about the Vokolka family created, however it concerned the older family members, not Václav Vokolka himself.
Fashion as a feminist tool of the 20th-century

The bachelor thesis deals with the problems of the first two waves of feminism, which is reflected in the 20th century fashion. It explains what feminism is and what its historical contexts are. An overview of the evolution of fashion of the 20th century will be divided by decades and will show its fundamental changes a impacts on society in connection with the development of women's movements. The work differentiates between world and domestic fashion and accentuates the attitudes of crucial personalities of fashion design on this issue. The historical overview will be complemented by a proposal and reflection on the partial realization of its own pedagogical project aimed at linking the field of clothing design and feminist issues.
Option of Visual Art in Leisure Time during Mental Anorexia Therapy.

This thesis deals with the possibility of using the visual art in leisure time with the aim positively influencing treatment during hospitalization of patient with diagnosis of anorexia nervosa. The beginning of the thesis is devoted to the definition of the notion of anorexia nervosa, become familiar with anorectic reasoning and hospitalization regime. Furthermore, attention is paid to the factors that influence the physical structure of an individual person and the perception of one's own body. The stylistic period, which are viewed in the context of historical events and the development of the ideal of beauty are described at the end of the thesis. The practical part consists of qualitative research and evaluation of the ways of free time and the same categories in the perception of artworks of patients with anorexia nervosa.
Development of visual literacy in preschool age children through art activities.

My work deals with the development of visual literacy in pre-school age through art activities. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The first chapter focuses on the pre-school age of children, their physical and mental development, the development of basic skills and skills, socialization and play. The second chapter focuses on the concept of visual literacy. The third chapter deals with the artistic activity in terms of its contribution to the personality of man. The fourth chapter describes how to develop visual literacy in practice through verbal and visual interpretation of visual arts. In the practical part of the diploma thesis I describe four art projects that I made with the children in the kindergarten. For each activity, the assignment, course of project, material, educational target, and final evaluation are given. The result of the thesis is the finding that the development of visual literacy is important for a person living in the 21st century. Visual art is a possibility how to develop visual literacy.
Reflecting advertisment in pre-school education

The bachelory work "Reflexe reklamy v předškolním vzdělávání" is focused on the theme of advertising in pre-school marketing with conotations to my conclusions developed for pedagogical employees in pre-matery schools. The theoretical part is based on texts, which are defined by the art-didactical-psychological literature applied to develope of advertise making and its forms and advertisement focused on children. The practical part of the bachelory work is based on percieveng impacts of the TV advertisements implied on children consumers. The research was being made by the research sonds - questionaire, interview and art queue. The practical part is difered to two parts which are based on theoretical solutions. The basis of the bachelory work are established on conclusions, which are usable for recent pedagogical studies.
