Paulíková, Veronika ; Kasáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Rovná, Lenka (referee)
The immigration has became the main topic in many western countries during several past years. This thesis focuses on immigration policy of the United Kingdom, where immigration represents 12,5 % of the whole population. Namely it deals with immigration policy during the premiership of David Cameron in the years 2010 to 2015. This topic is relatively recent, therefore has not been sufficiently explored. Moreover, attention is usually focused on integration policy; as a consequence thesis should contribute to mapping of actual immigration policy in the United Kingdom. This thesis examines which specific changes in immigration policy have been introduced by the government of David Cameron. Immigration policy is analyzed on base of the new Immigration Act and other documents which amended new law, then on the reforms of visa policy. The main objective of the analysis is to map immigration policy of David Cameron and reveal the specific steps taken by the government. Main emphasis is on the valid legislation concerning the status and stay of the third country nationals. The thesis looks into problematic parts of the legislation, both theoretical and practical, and provides opinion of the author on those matters. The thesis is divided into four main spheres. The first one concerns development of a visa and migration policy in the framework of development of the Schengen cooperation and its gradual integration into the main EU policies, its definitions and different participation of the Member States. Following key part of the thesis deals with the current valid provisions of the stay of the third country nationals (citizens of the countries outside of the EU). This part defines subjects of law coming from the third countries, as differentiated by the Union and Czech law and defines various types of authorization to stay which entitle them to short or long-stay at the Schengen or Czech territory. The third segment deals with the family members of the EU nationals who are covered by specific legal framework. Last part of the thesis encompasses future...
Specifics of the education of ethnic minorities form the former Soviet Union in the Czech Republic.
Remková, Jana ; Felcmanová, Lenka (advisor) ; Valešová Malecová, Barbara (referee)
This theses focuses on the issue of study of foreigners from formal Soviet Union in the Czech Republic. The goal of this work is to analyse and evaluate steps on the student's journey from initial idea to study in the Czech Republic, through main obstacles that need to be overcome in the process to basic requirements and necessities that need to be fulfilled. These issues were analyzed in eight connected chapters, six theoretical and two practical. Results of the practical part uncover the most problematic areas a foreign student encounters during the study at the college in the Czech Republic. The paper also includes suggested solutions to these problems.
Beam Shaping Circuits for L Band Antenna
Kalina, Ladislav ; Pítra, Kamil (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis contains design of beamforming network designed for passive radar antennas. The first part contains theory of passive radars and beamforming networks. The next part implies design of beamforming network at the block digram level. Then are choosed circuits for amplitude and phase control, including the design of control communication. It follows by realization of IQ phase shifter and his automatic measurement. Based on this results is phase shifter adjusted and PCB of 2x2 beamforming network is designed. Last part includes design of control application (Matlab) and control program for STM32F407VG microcontroller.
USBTMC bench power supply
Sehnálek, Lubomír ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis was selected due to establishing of universal platform for USBTMC remote instrumentation and constructing a laboratory DC power supply for hobby use. This thesis is focused on design and realization of regulated linear DC power supply. At first thesis mentions kinds of DC power supplies and kinds of interfaces used for test and measurement instruments. Thesis continues by describing of blocks of a developed linear DC power supply with an USB interface following the USBTMC specification for remote control. Thesis ends by realization of the regulated linear DC power supply with USBTMC interface. It was achieved acceptable results. Communication between PC and Control module works well as same as communication between Control module and Power supply module. Maximum output ranges of voltage and current are 40V and 3A. Big interference on auxiliary supply rail decreases accuracy.
Payment Systems and Protocols - Analysis, Simulation, Verification
Kučerová, Petra ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis "Payment systems and protocols - analysis, simulation, verification" is overview of payment systems in the Czech Republic, in EU, in USA and in Japan. The first part is concentrated on legislation, the second is dedicated to payment systems, the third is dedicated to payment protocols, their characteristics, used technology and security elements. Comparison of particular payment systems and of particular payment protocols is part of this work too. Thesis is also concentrated on security elements.
Analysis of Selected Payment Protocols
Kučerová, Petra ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the master's thesis "Analysis of Selected Payment Protocols" is overview of used payment. The first part is concentrated on data security, the second is dedicated to payment protocols, their characteristics, used technology and security elements. The third part is dedicated to verification and simulation tools. Comparison of particular payment protocols and of particular verification tools is part of this work too. Experimental part of the thesis is focused on formalization and verification of the payment protocol Visa 3-D Secure, of the protocol NetBill and on formalization of two subprotocols of SET.
Payment cards on the Internet
Škop, Roman ; Matuštík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Zaoral, Ondřej (referee)
The bachelor thesis brings the view of the historic, current and the future development of this payment instrument, a typology of credit cards, complete with the introduction of new contactless payment cards.
