HEJPETROVÁ, Klára
The aim of the work is to describe the specific character of The Roma ethnicity in relation to their concept of leisure time. This Bachelor thesis will look at how and where Roma ethnics spend their free time. To do that, you need to look at their history, which I'm dealing with in the first few chapters. Furthermore, romani people's relationship with leisure activities, education and work needs to be dismantled. This is what the second chapter deals with. The third chapter describes people who work with Roma children and examples of centres dealing with leisure and problems of Roma ethnicity.

Knejflová, Vendula ; Wolák, Radim (advisor) ; Supa, Markéta (referee)
The thesis Media habits of children aged 5-6 examines the media awareness of 5 and 6 years old children, their media habits and preferences. It deals with the attitudes of parents and educators towards the media and their role in education, and seeks an answer the question of whether the popularity and use of electronic visual media (television, computer, mobile/tablet) has an impact on some areas of a child's psychomotor development. The work is inspired by a similar research conducted in 2010 by Ondřej Luštinec. The aim is to answer what is the media awareness of children, what are their media preferences and what attitudes are taken by parents and pedagogical staff towards the media in education. Several hypotheses were established, e.g. that children with worse results in the monitored areas will more often choose visual electronic media as their favorite and printed media with radio as unpopular, that children with worse results will spend more time with visual electronic media and that children will spend more time with them than in 2010. The current research was carried out in June 2022 and in January 2023 in kindergartens in Kyselka, Velvary, Čakovice and in Prague - Opletalova street. Qualitative methods (interviews and experiments with children) and quantitative methods (questionnaires...
Balancing openness in parents' communication with young children
Večeřová, Eliška ; Presslerová, Pavla (advisor) ; Viktorová, Ida (referee)
The thesis aims to explore a phenomenon observed among some contemporary parents: openness in communication with their young children is an important value for them, but on several topics they hesitate whether it is also appropriate in this case or modify it in some way. Based on a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews with parents of preschool children, the work provides a concrete description of how parents balance their openness in communication about sex, Baby Jesus, death and war, relationships and emotions, as well as in parenting. Subsequently, it presents the common patterns of this balancing across communication topics, describes the motivations, boundaries and barriers to parents' openness in communication, and shows the role of the parent's experience and factors on the child's side. It also describes interpersonal balancing with partners, grandparents and in the context of society. The practical part of the thesis consists of a project for the after-school club containing elements of scout educational work. At the same time, the project was tested on a specific group of children in the after-school club. The outputs show that the project is beneficial for children and governesses in the after-school...
Students' sport activities and their family background
JIROUT, Vladimír
The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to investigate similar trends in the families of informants regarding sports. We compared individual responses and found matches in some cases. In the theoretical part, basic concepts were explained, and we focused on children of older school-age. We were also interested in the family background in relation to child upbringing and parenting styles within the family. In the third chapter, we paid attention to motivation and attitudes towards sports activities. In the practical part, we conducted interviews with children from two selected schools, totalling eight informants. To maintain anonymity, codes were assigned to all participants. We use the codes to refer to the participants in our discussions. We processed and compared the individual responses and identified common trends, which are summarized in the final discussion. Health education in family education
CHOCHOLOVÁ, Tereza
The aim of the bachelor thesis is mapping of health education in family education at primary school in the Czech Republic and abroad. Family education is an important part of health education within the education system and general life. In history, there have been attempts to introduce family education as a subject, which has been canceled due to a lack of accredited teachers. Instead of family upbringing, health education began. Teaching is carried out using the curriculum of the School Educational Program and the Framework Educational Program of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The high level of health education teaching is influenced by the low number of professionals and the maturity of the states. According to most authors, the biggest problem of health education is the lack of public information and the lack of interest of citizens in leading a healthy lifestyle. Programs under the auspices of the World Health Organization are set to change this.
Probe into the soul of a lifetime scout
BROMOVÁ, Zuzana
The thesis gives a perspective on life seen through the Scout's eyes. It deals with the life and the thinking of the people who were or have been active members of this movement. The practical part of the thesis focuses, through eight narrative interviews, on the experience of the Scout movement members and the subjective purpose of their own experience throughout their life. It describes as well what these individuals have found within the movement, what they have identified or conversely disagreed with and what values and approaches they prefer in their lives. The practical part seeks the essence of something that a Scout's soul is comprised of, it means, what makes a Scout a Scout. The analysis of individual interviews exposed several topics and subtopics, where the correlation between them was examined. These topics turned into a syllabus or basis for the theoretical part, where it was described and clarified to the reader with the help of the reference literature.
