Camp-wide game - methodology and practice

This bachelor's thesis explores the phenomenon of camp-wide games that accompany summer camps for children. First, concepts and terms such as leisure time, camp, and game are introduced, which are closely related to camp-wide games and help us understand the principles of their preparation. The next section provides an overview of selected organizations that use camp-wide games as part of their activities at the camps they organize. Subsequently, methods for preparing, implementing, and concluding camp-wide games discussed in the literature reviewed in the first part of this thesis are compared with methods used by individual organizations.

Project of development of the beer tourism in Tábor region

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to explore a potential development of beer tourism district of Tábor. The theoretical part summarizes information about gastronomic tourism, beer tourism and information services. In the practical part of the bachelor these, an analysis of beer tourism in the Tábor region was first performed. The practical part contains interviews with individual brewers about their brewery businesses, products, social media, a behavior of the visitors and other information about their activities. It further explores whether greater promotion and cooperation among the breweries in Tábor district would contribute to their growth. At the end of the work, three proposals were developed: profile on the Instagram social network, brochure about beer tourism in the Tábor region, and the last is creation of two cycle paths connecting these places.

Analýza trhu nemovitostí v segmentu bytů - Tábor

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the housing market in selected local-ities in Tábor. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part consists of literary research dealing with the issue of valuation, real estate cadastre and real estate agencies. The practical part of the paper deals with the market analysis of selected localities in Tábor. First, the general characteristics of the town of Tábor are described, in the following steps, attention is paid to the analysed localities according to the apartment layout. From the obtained data, commented tables are created, which are divided according to location and layout. At the end of the practical part, the town of Tábor is compared with the towns of similar size.

Analysis of the principles of music therapy and the introduction of its elements into the methodology of the summer children's camp

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the analysis of music therapy, its principles and creation of activities with elements of music therapy that can be used at a children's summer camp. The thesis theoretically describes music therapy and its main topics - history, methods, techniques and forms of music therapy and the personality of a music therapist. It also focuses on the topic of children's summer camps and their necessities - the definition of the recovery event, persons providing the event and the target group of participants. The thesis summarizes basic principles of music therapy based on the literary research. The main part of the thesis contains a description of activities with elements of music therapy that are applicable in the methodology of children's summer camp activities, especially at the children's summer camp Pohoďák.

The History of Scouting in South Bohemia

The thesis deals with the history of scouting in the world and in the Czech countries, from the beginning until nowadays, specifically it focuses on the history of scouting in southern Bohemia. It primarily focuses on the development of the scout movement in individual scout troops of the South Bohemian region and on the process of their activities from the beginning until the 1950 s. The development of scouting in the selected area is divided into partial phases according to important milestones in the historical development of our country. The thesis deals with all important circumstances related to the birth of development of scouting. The first two chapters describe the history of world and czech scouting, chronologically according to individual time periods. The second two chapters, which are crucial for this thesis, focus on the development and history of scouting in southern Bohemia and in individual regions of this area. In this part the thesis describes two crucial periods of scout development. The first period maps the beginning of scouting in southern Bohemia and in cities from the beginning. It focuses on the 1920 s and 1930 s. The second period maps the post-war years until the date of the end of scouting. In this part thesis focuses on the post-war period from 1945 to 1950. The oldest informations were derived from the preserved archival materials and chronicles of individual scout troops. Periodicals and newspaper articles also became a source of informations. It was also derived from almanacs created by scout witnesses. Recent data were based on current literature that processed the history of scouting.

The relationship of participation in children's summer camps with the development of moral reasoning in middle school children

Title The relationship of participation in children's summer camps with the development of moral reasoning in middle school children. Objectives The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between children's participation in summer camps and their moral development. A secondary objective was to determine the relationship between parenting style and the child's personality on the child's moral development. Methods The research was conducted on 164 middle school children. The research used three standardized questionnaires combined into one, specifically the questionnaires were the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, the BFI - 10, and the Moral Identity Questionnaire. The results from these questionnaires were evaluated by statistical analysis using SPSS software. Subsequently, correlation analysis, regression analysis and T - Test were performed with the results. Results The relationship between participation in children's camps and the development of moral reasoning has not been proven. The relationship between parenting style and moral self was evident in the section dealing with so-called positive parenting. For the relationship with personality, the positive relationship of the traits agreeableness and conscientiousness showed an effect on the development of the moral self part....

Inclusive summer camp and its significance for intact participants

The thesis deals with the operation of an inclusive summer camp, which is attended by intact children and siblings of children with disabilities, in addition to children with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities and Down syndrome. The thesis mainly deals with the programme during the week-long stay at the camp and also focuses on interviews with the intact participants. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the preparation, implementation and subsequent detailed description of the inclusive summer camp and also to analyse its impact on the child participants. In my thesis I would like to test the hypothesis that children at the inclusive camp in Bukova get everything they expect from it (quality program, friends, fun, safety, trust in leaders, etc.) even if there are children with disabilities who require a lot of care and attention from other adult leaders and assistants. Local government's approach to D3 highway construction: case study of city of Tábor Abstract This thesis analyzes attitudes by political representatives from local administration of two biggest cities in southern Bohemia towards D3 highway. The main part of analysis focuses on district city of Tábor and partially on regional metropolis of České Budějovice. D3 Highway is supposed to become not only the important intrastate corridor but also the new connection between Czechia and Austria. Projected impacts of highway are compared with literature while the thesis concentrates on perception assessment of D3 highway by political representatives from selected city of Tábor. The main evaluation criterion is the perception of D3 highway as one of the basic requirement for general development of the region. Roman forts in Egypt

This paper deals with roman fortifications in Egypt. The main emphasis is laid on roman fortresses on forts. Their descriptions are included in the first part of the paper. Another fortification's elements, history of roman province and mentions of forts in ancient writings, which put the forts in geographical and historical context, are described more shortly. The paper includes a brief part about roman navy too. In the second part of the paper the author tries to point out the functions of forts, development of fortification system, the architectural similarities between forts in Egypt and to find architectural parallels in other parts of Roman Empire.
