Managerial competences in EF JU student´s development

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of managerial competences of the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice who study program Management and Business Economics with a proposal how to develop core competences to increase their competitiveness in the labour market. The results are based on the questionnaire survey of the students and managers of companies, focusing on the soft skills established by the Central Database of Competences.
The use of neurolinguistic programming at public service employees

The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis summarizes the most important findings of neurolinguistic programming. It also contains a description of selected techniques. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the NLP with techniques applied in practice for the development of soft skills of inspectors of the State Office for Nuclear Safety. This goal was achieved through unstructured interviews and the study of internal documents, working materials and course texts. The thesis also contains semi-structured questionnaire, supplemented by information obtained by unstructured interview with inspectors and other communication with them. This questionnaire explores the opinion of inspectors on soft skills education, neuro-linguistic programming, and interest in further training in these areas.
Educational Needs Analysis of General Nurses in Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to distinguish and to analyze the educational needs of general nurses of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice by testing specific method of research. This specific method is a questionnaire based on Metodika vzdělávacích plánů created by HESTIA a. s. together with PhDr. Jiří Tošner. The goal can be devided into two sub-goals. First sub-goal is to test this questionnaire for distingushing the educational needs of general nurses in Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice, the second sub-goal is to distinguish and analyze the educational needs of general nurses of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice. The theoretical part of this thesis is based on remarkable work of 20th century's scholars, sociologists, physicians and researchers and its aim is to present the psychiatry within its historical and contemporary concept. The thesis will also focus on the occupation of nurse, its history and current state. Last but not least, this thesis will present the history, organizational structure and educational opportunities of Psychiatric Hospital of Bohnice. I chose the soft skills, which are important for a good nurse's output according to me. In my opinion many people cant handle it as they are supposed to. And that is what I would like to find out in my task. In the preface of the teoretic part I am explaining why I am interested in this topic. Development of soft skills trainers competencies: creating educational concepts

This thesis is devoted to the theme of the development of competencies of soft skills trainers. A special attention has been paid to the various roles that a trainer has when performing his/her job and the related competencies that are essential for high-quality mastering of this profession. The focal points are the possibilities of development of trainers' teaching competence within formal and informal education that a trainer has during preparatory as well as further education of trainers with special emphasis on the methods that can be employed to achieve this education. The empiric part of this thesis maps the ways of acquiring trainer's competencies as they occur in practice, their connection with further professional development. At the same time it verifies the suitability of the methods that are used to develop competencies. Based on the analysis of information provided by the respondents and study of relevant literature, a methodological concept of education of a trainer has been developed.

Personal, Professional and Social Qualities of a Project Manager

The MA thesis is divided to two basic parts. First of them is dealing with personal, social and professional knowledge of a project manager and the second one is mapping the education of soft skills at Czech universities where the subject of study "Information Studies and Librarianship" is taught. The theoretical part is devoted to project management. The attention is devoted to basic terms from project management's area, it represents the most well-known project methodologies, it defines particular roles of a project manager and most importantly the part is dealing with particular competences, which should be commanded by a project manager. The last chapter of theoretical part is devoted to an analysis of the three most well-known project methodologies. The practical part is mapping the situation at universities - namely which subjects they offer within the education of soft skills and how the teachers are working with the subject. Other activities of universities within the education and the development of soft skills are also given. Further the examples of subjects with the same topic taught at American universities are listed. The main topic of this Bachelor Thesis is Leadership styles with an accent on coaching. Coaching and employee motivation have become lately one of the main interests of the companies. This tool helps employees to find their strong points and apply them in their day-to-day life. This self-discovery gives them faith in their strenghts, increases their self-confidence and makes them independent. This is a true motivation. The analysis of educational needs proceeds from questionnaire investigations, subsequent evaluation and finding the most convenient alternatives of educational platform and techniques clearing the way of raising effectiveness in team and general behaviour of top management.
