Nature of magnetic anomalies on Moon, sample analysis

The magnetic properties of a rocks on Earth are mostly well known. But what is the magnetic properties of a rocks which originate extraterrestrial? Such as on Moon. We are interested in the intensity of paleofield of some Moon rocks which were chipped by Apollo 15 in early 70s. The text is an unification of the basic knowledge of a magnetism, the way how it originates. You can found here also the basics of paleomagnetism and methods how the rocks can get own magnetisation, their properties and some outline how the Moon rocks can get own magnetisation if moon doesn't have a dynamo. Then we summaries the information got from measurements of two Moon rocks 15404.219 and 15445.277, which were divided to subsamples and measured in Paleomagnetic laboratory in Czech Academy of Sciences. Each subsample was measured separately on 2G cryogenic magnetometer. We were interested in AF (alternating field) remanent magnetisation spectra from which we got an estimating intensity of paleofield from which the samples got own magnetisation. The final part is devoted to discussion on topic of possible existence of lunar dynamo or other possibilities how the Moon rocks can have held the magnetisation.
Design and overview of unmanned vehicles for exploration of space objects

The content of this bachelor’s thesis is overview of unmanned vehicles for exploration of space objects. The first part of this thesis adress probes that have been sent to the Moon. Summarizes their parameters and results of individual missions. The second part focuses on probes sent to Mars, their contribution and technical specifications. Comparison of conceptual solutions of space probes is also included in this thesis.

Interactive application for teaching the topic of the Earth as a planet

Interactive application for teaching the topic of the Earth as a planet Abstract The thesis is focused on the creation of an interactive application for teaching the topic of the Earth as a planet at secondary schools. The theoretical part generally deals with digital technologies for teaching, educational applications and pedagogical-psychological aspects of the subject. The topic was defined and analyzed using curriculum documents, textbooks and school atlases. Based on the analysis, partial topics were selected and turned into an application that covers separate learning objects. 8 learning objects were created ("Distances and dimensions", "Earth's orbit", "Seasons", "Solar time", "Moon phases", "Solar and Lunar eclipses", "Orbiting around the barycenter", "Tidal phenomena") and 4 learning objects were taken ("Solar System", "Earth's shape - geoid", "Time zones", "Future eclipses"). Each learning object has been provided with its theoretical introduction and methodological questions and tasks. The final educational application will be available on the Internet as a web application, without the need for installation. Media image of the Apollo 11 spaceflight in the Czechoslovak press

This bachelor's thesis focuses on media image of the Apollo 11 spaceflight to the Moon and back, including the days right before and after the event. In particular, it is about the image as it was depicted by a three contemporary Czechoslovak daily newspapers - Rudé právo, Mladá fronta and Svobodné slovo in the months of July and August of 1969. Among other things, the work examines whether forenamed newspapers distorted the facts or otherwise misinterpreted the reality that would denigrate the ideological enemy. In other words, whether they were ideologically biased. It is only logical given that the United States was in a state of high alert with the Soviet Union which had it's own cosmic programme. The chapters explaining the international situation, the role of the space program in the Cold War and the conditions of Czechoslovak media back then are part of the theoretical part. This work can serve as an addition to the previously known facts about the propaganda purposes of the Czechoslovak press during the culmination of the Cold War. Due to the detailed analysis of the material, it is possible to distinguish not only how but also the intensity of every specific newspapers about the event.
Czech Signs for Elementary Calendrical Units

The goal of this thesis is to survey the signs of Czech sign language for basic calendrical units (seasons, months, days). The thesis is based on a set of linguistic data collected by the method of elicitation among deaf informants from six cities in the Czech Republic (Brno, Hradec Králové, Ostrava, Plzeň, Praha and Zlín). The set of linguistic data is described from the point of view of motivation including folk etymology. The topic of sociolinguistic variation is also covered in the thesis, because the data include lexical and phonological variants connected to particular regions or age groups. Modeling of solar irradiance for lunar base locations

Modeling of solar irradiance for lunar base locations Abstract An incident radiation is an essential factor for a discovery of a place suitable for building a lunar base. This thesis presents a new approach for modeling of solar irradiance in an arbitrary lunar location at selected time. Shadowing by surrounding terrain is calculated by spatial intersection between lines of illumination and digital terrain model. Model also takes variable distance between Moon and Sun and areal representation of the Sun into account. In this thesis a new geometrical procedure for calculation of reflected irradiance is designed. The resulting model is implemented within ArcGIS software as an executable script, which utilizes the freely available data from Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter as an input. Astropolitics of extraterrestrial bodies within Solar system

The work deals with geopolitics of inner solar system with focus on extraterrestrial celestial bodies. First part deals with definitions, delimitation of researched territory, and definition of researched questions. Afterwards, we deal with basics of astrophysics which is necessary precondition for understanding specifics of astropolitics and the issue of space- faring actors. Here, both state and non-state actors, their capacities and ability to become colonizing actor, are assessed. The work continues with exploration of single celestial bodies - Earth's Moon, Mars and its moons, and smaller bodies like asteroids. The final chapter scratches the issues crucial for space colonization such as sovereignty and weaponization. Based on these factors, few models of space colonization are presented. Conclusion then sums up all our findings and geopolitical map of "blue planet's" neighbourhood is presented.
Economic analysis of moon phases on human behaviour

The moon and its lunar cycle is a theme that occurs in society since time immemorial. Does lunar cycle affect human life including its economic and social aspects? Do ordinary people and managers of large corporations act differently when the moon is full? Does consumer behavior change? Is at the time of the full moon rising crime and accidents? Can the effect of month on human behavior be scientifically tested? Although the above -mentioned topic may seem a bit bizarre I decided to process it in my thesis. Nowadays is popularization of science very important and widely used by for example the leading economic faculties of leading universities in the USA and the UK. This work attempts to answer the above questions and test the above mentioned context by using econometric methods. In this work we can read about the moon and myths and legends which are bind to it. The thesis presents several studies that have addressed the topic before, and their results. And then it will analyze available data from three basic areas of human behavior - crime, healthcare and business. The results which I reached are interesting and significantly confirm the influence of the lunar cycle in two of three selected aspects of human behavior - health and trade.
Natural environment of the Moon

This presented bachelor paper aims to describe the environment of the Moon based on accessible publications. It is especialy focused on the morphology of the most striking lunar landforms, as well as the origin of the Moon and its geological evolution, description of formation and characteristics of lunar regolith and effects of space weathering on lunar landforms. The second part of the paper is aimed at the morphological description of large impact craters - Tycho and Plato. Owing to the different age of these selected complex craters, it is possible by correlation of their patterns to demonstrate effects of main processes changing the Moon's surface.
