V předložené bakalářské práci je na základě dostupné literatury popsán vývoj a současný stav přírodního prostředí Měsíce. Studie se zaměřuje především na morfologii nejvýraznějších povrchových tvarů, dále pak na vznik Měsíce a jeho geologický vývoj, popis vytváření a vývoje měsíčního regolitu a také na účinky kosmického zvětrávání na povrchové tvary Měsíce. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na morfologický popis velkých impaktních kráterů - Tycho a Plato. Vzhledem k různému stáří vybraných komplexních kráterů je možné porovnáním jejich vzhledu dokumentovat působení hlavních procesů, které se podílejí na vývoji povrchu Měsíce. It is especialy focused on the morphology of the most striking lunar landforms, as well as the origin of the Moon and its geological evolution, description of formation and characteristics of lunar regolith and effects of space weathering on lunar landforms. The second part of the paper is aimed at the morphological description of large impact craters - Tycho and Plato. Owing to the different age of these selected complex craters, it is possible by correlation of their patterns to demonstrate effects of main processes changing the Moon's surface.
