Analysis of kinematics of a ball screw mechanism
Sladký, Adam ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This thesis describes the process of creating a mathematical model of the kinematics of a ball screw, based upon which a computational model was made, along with an intractive Matlab user interface that serves to provide fast analysis of some of the most important parameters of the mechanism. Functionality of the presented model was verified using specific ball screw parameters. The output of this analysis was presented, analysed, and results describing the influence of operating conditions on the mechanism were derived from it. These results are one of the outputs of this thesis. Both the mathematical and computational models can serve as a tool for ball screw designers and manufacturers, and not only in their current state. They can also provide a starting point for anyone that requires a kinematic analysis for a specific configuration or problem.
Automatic Tray Feeder
Zmítko, Václav ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with design and realization of an automatic tray feeder for JEDEC trays with a line-by-line tray scrolling function, which is not available in any of the commercially available tray feeders. The aim of the work is the design and realization of the hardware of the whole device and its control electronics. The design includes calculation of the pneumatic and motor drives, 3D design, electronic circuit calculations and design in the KiCad development program.
Systems Methodology by Linear AXIS Design of a Heavy Machine Tool
Hermanský, Dominik ; Šooš, Ĺubomír (referee) ; Suchánek, Rostislav (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The dissertation thesis deals with the possibility of a new approach to the design of a linear axis for a heavy machine tool using a system approach and advanced simulation tools based on the finite element method. The result of the thesis is a general methodology applicable in the development and design of heavy machine tools of any kinematic configuration, regardless of the required operating parameters of the machine. The thesis is designed so that using a system approach, a methodology is created and then the procedure for creating a complex computational model, which is necessary for the methodology, is described in detail. Case studies were carried out on the basis of a system approach and the methodology of linear axis design and the creation of a complex model created from it. The obtained results were verified by experimental methods. The achieved results can be used in industry in the design stage of a CNC heavy machine tool for the design and computation department.
Design of linear axis for heavy machine tool
Dostál, Martin ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This diploma thesis is concerned with providing a construction proposal of a linear axis X for multifunctional machining center. Moreover, this work presents characterisations of machining centers, overview of manufacturers, list of main construction components used in the linear axis, their evaluation, assessment of various options for construction, which are then explained further. These detailed construction methods include calculations with the subsequent choice of feed system component. Ultimately, final evaluation of chosen option is provided as well. Another section of this thesis is also an economical assessment and 3D model alongside with mechanical drawing.
Energetic model of linear axis with ball screw and servodrive
Sládek, Vojtěch ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to study the Energy Models of Linear Axes with Ball Screws and Servo Drives, to analyze the individual parts of the axis with respect to losses, the methodology of calculating the losses on the electrical part and the mechanical part of the drive and creating a complex algorithm that calculates the energy consumed for the specified motion. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part is divided into the treatise on the electrical part of the axis and its losses and the part that deals with the mechanical part and its losses. The calculation is divided into the basic verification algorithm and the calculation on the given example. Each calculation is calculated for both linear acceleration and S-curve acceleration. For both types of acceleration, the result of energy and its course over time is also the waveforms of position, velocity, acceleration, angular acceleration, moments, powers, power, speed and currents over time.

Design of a robotic workplace for the operation of injection molding machines with subsequent assembly and inspection
Musil, Marek ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a robotic workplace for the operation of injection moulding machines. It is concerned with the design of the workplace component deployment and the evaluation of the best variant using a multi-criteria assessment. In detail, attention is paid to the end effectors of industrial robots and the assembly workplace, where finishing operations take place. Finally, the risk analysis and technical and economic evaluation of the proposed workplace are carried out.
