Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification

This diploma thesis focuses on analysis, evaluation and improvement proposals for an information system used by a specific company from the insurance business. The company offers services to insurance companies, such as motor vehicle or property inspection and damage assessment. The first part describes the theory related to the main focus areas of this thesis. The second part contains an overview of the company, its analysis as well as evaluation of the information system used within the company. Finally, a set of proposals will be formulated, based on the outcomes of company and information system evaluation, aiming to simplify company processes and increase company’s productivity.

The Diploma thesis is focused on improvement personnel management in PESTAN company. At first is described the theoretical knowledge regards to personnel activities in small and middle companies, which was processed on basis of specialized literature. In the next part I characterized PESTAN company and analyzed its personnel activities. On basis of gained knowledge I determined proposals focused on improving a current situation.

Application of Knowledge Management Principles in Selected Company

The thesis deals with the issue of the knowledge management and its principles. The introduction of thesis is addressed to theoretical basics of the knowledge management that is followed by the practical part. The theoretical part provides the starting point for the proposal and applications of system for the chosen company. The main aim of the practical part was to form the application for management of projects and the repository of the knowledge of the chosen company. This aim should be followed by increasing of the work efficiency and enhancing of the access to the information. The resulting application will be set up into the company workings.

Cílem této práce je zjistit, jak využít ICT pro řízení ve školství. Pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů zmapovat současný přístup managementu základních škol k problematice ICT v řízení školy. V práci jsou vymezeny pojmy management a ICT, stejně tak shromážděna východiska tématu z aktuálních výzkumů, zpráv, nástrojů a strategie vzdělávání ČR. Výsledky pedagogického výzkumu mezi řediteli základních škol jsou v závěru konfrontovány s publikovanými výzkumy a závěry. To monitor current attitude of basic school management to the topic ICT in school management, due to half- structured interviews with principal. In this work are defined notions: management and ICT, as collected terminus a quo of the topic: current researches, informations, tools and strategy of education Czech Republic. Results of the pedagogical research among principals of the elementary school are compared with published researches and conclusions in the end of the work. This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of internal company communication. This thesis is divided into theoretical pand ractical parts. The theoretical part describes a summary of verified scientific knowledge, which are applied in the practical part. In the practical part, the shortcomings of internal company communication in the company POOR – TRADE, v.o.s. are identified by means of a questionnaire survey. Based on these shortcomings, individual procedures for their optimization are proposed.

Topic of this Diploma thesis is assessment of information system in selected company Ryba Žilina s.r.o.. This phase of assessment comes out from extensive analysis and findings. After evaluation of analytical methods used, suggestions for improvement of current information system, will be created. This proposals should bring positive asset for company itself and improve some of the processes in company.

The master’s thesis deals with the design of a suitable information system for the operation of the shared workshop of Temple of Creation s.r.o. The introductory part of the thesis contains the theoretical background, which forms the basis for the analytical part of the current state of the company and the solution itself. Implementation of the proposed information system will be one of the possibilities how to increase the availability of the services offered by the creative center, simplify the processes and ensure the smooth running of the company.

Awareness of the residents Jindřichův Hradec about the factores, that cause fallen of birth rate in Jindřichův Hradec.

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the description of demography, the basic historical definition, the term birth rate, factors that influenced falling birth rates, knowledge about impact to social sphere and foreknowledge. The research part deals with the residents of the town Jindřichův Hradec and their opinion, attitudes and knowledge they have about falling birth rates. The research was carried out using quantitative research and the results are recorded in graphs. The aim of the research part was to find out what opinion the residents of town Jindřichův Hradec have about falling birth rates and the factors that caused falling birth rates. The main goal was divide into three parts, which were work out into 4 hypotheses. First aim: Find out what the resindets of Jindřichův Hradec are aware of about falling birth rates in Jindřichův Hradec and whether the fall in the birth rate also affects the social sphere, or how. Second aim : To find out the iinhabitants of residents Jindřicůhv Hradec about selected factors that caused falling birth rates. Third aim: To find out how the inhabitants of Jindřichův Hradec are informed about falling birth rates. Hypothesis 1 : The residents of Jindřichův Hradec are familiar with falling birth rates. Hypothesis 2: The residents of Jindřichův Hradec agree that the the birth rate fallen has impact on the social sphere. Hypothesis 3: The residents of Jindřichův Hradec usually deremine that the contraceptice extenstion is a factor that caused fallen in the birth rate. Hypothesis 4: The residents of Jindřichův Hradec agree that they are not sufficiently informed about the birth rate decline. H1, H2, H4 was confirmed. H3 wasn't confirmed.

The Awareness of Patients Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes About Their Illness in a Selected Region

This bachelor thesis entitled "The Awareness of Patients Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes About Their Illness in a Selected Region "is divided into two main parts. In the theoretical part, it focuses on the characteristics of diabetes mellitus, especially on type 2 diabetes mellitus, including treatment and associated complications of this disease. In the practical part I focused on the level of awareness of type 2 diabetics from the Vysočina region, both in diabetics from the neighborhood and from the diabetes clinic of the hospital in Nové Město na Moravě. The level of awareness in the individual areas of treatment was then compared with answers to questions about their own compliance with the treatment rules. Answers to the question of knowledge was mostly correct but the situation about keeping the treatment rules was worse. The best results were in the field of sports, the worst of dieting. They were also very bad in aswering the questions related to acute complications. Only about 40 % of the answers were correct. Knowledge of chronic complications was better. 65 % of the answers were correct. The last partial goal was to find the main source of information, which is clearly the medical staff.
