The use of information technologies in preschool children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers

The final work entitled "The use of information technology in preschool children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers" deals with information technologies used by preschool children, how they work with them and how their use is reflected in preschool education. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains chapters on the development and history of information and communication technologies, the impact of information technology on children and youth, the risks and benefits of using information technology. In the practical part, based on mixed research (observation, questionnaire survey and interviews with kindergarten teachers), research questions related to the goal of the bachelor's thesis are answered.
Current Modern Didactic Means used in Management of schools and Education

The topic of the importance of modern didactic tools in the current conditions of pedagogical practice is considered as contemporary and often discussed. The thesis deals with the question whether the application of modern technology can streamline the work of teachers, including school management and also whether it can become one of the criteria for raising the level of education and organization development. The thesis gives an insight into the ability of school management and other education participants to accept, but also induce changes and innovations in education. It also concerns the issue of schools' open-minded thinking and providing lifelong learning to local community. The thesis attempts to find a mutual relationship between effective application of modern technology, collaboration and the impact on results of entire work. The thesis deals with the use of ICT across different types of schools. The survey should also verify the impact of didactic tools on the quality and results of education by type of school, especially those who participated in the project of Ústi nad Labem Region called Community School (elementary, secondary, special), including feedback. The output of the thesis is summarization, interpretation and completion of the data obtained.
Content and Language Integrated Learning with ICT using the Interactive Whiteboard

The main goal of the diploma thesis "Content and Language Integrated Learning with ICT using the Interactive Whiteboard" is to provide a comprehensible assessment of the potential benefits of employing CLIL during ICT lessons. The thesis focuses on the recent history of CLIL and its roots as well as the official support it receives from the European Union. This work also takes a look at the advantages CLIL has to offer and why anybody should consider using it. This work goes on to suggest some basic questions a teacher should ask him/herself when considering whether to employ CLIL or not. The Practical Part is focused on creating a series of activities that may serve as an example of using CLIL during ICT lessons while making use of the Interactive Whiteboard, one of the new tools that is available to an increasing number of schools. The Practical Part also includes sample files to be opened on the Interactive Whiteboard, the age range of learners for whom the activity is intended, their learning context, aims and expected learning outcomes for each activity as well as the kinds of tasks included in each activity and the expected problems. The Influence of the Internet on Education

This work concentrates on the changes that the Internet has caused in education since its invention to the present day and predicts possible future development of the Internet use in education. It focuses on the learning needs of people in the information society and the role of adult educators in bridging the digital divide. The work further deals with changes in several cognitive functions, which are directly related to education. Special attention is given to a new theory of networked learning, connectivism, and specific ways of learning on the internet. Personal learning environments, massive open online courses, open educational resources and the concept of school 2.0 are critically viewed. The well-known web applications and tools suitable for use in teaching are briefly introduced.
Problems of penetration of information technology into education

This diploma thesis is dealing with the negative consequences of implementation of information and communication technologies and its penetration into education. The purpose of the thesis is identification and analysis of problems dealing with the intensive use of ICT in education of children in elementary school. The objectives of the thesis were fulfilled using theoretical and empirical research methods. The theoretical methods subsumed study and analysis of scientific literature, articles and study of results of theme related experiments. The empirical research methods contained interview, questionnaire, and students' observation. The conclusion of the thesis contains evaluation and summary of the explorative research results, research findings and recommendations for further education and pedagogical practice.

Basic issues of introducing E - Justice into civil proceedings The subject of this thesis is modernization of civil proceedings, pushed forth by the department of justice, via implementation of information and communication technologies. Specific focus is granted to the perpetually forming phenomenon known as E - Justice, which is meant to enrich the judiciary by not only allowing complete rationalization of procedures to take place, but also by making civil proceedings more open and accessible to its clients. Modern technology and the electronic form of data, which it provides, have the potential, under the assumption that it will thoroughly be established in the judiciary sector, to bring vigor and financially effective processes while at the same time augmenting the processing capacity. The aim of this thesis is to emphasize the critical moments arising from the implementation of E - Justice, to concisely characterize the present state of this phenomenon in Czech republic and to propose its further attainable developmental pathways with respect to advancements of the information society. The diploma thesis is focused on history and development of this phenomenon and points to the possibilities of podcast use at primary schools. The goal of this thesis is to show not only the advantages and benefit of the podcast for pupils and the teacher, but also to highlight the possible problems during its use and introduction. The theoretical part is dealing with aspects and podcast use at schools and provides an overview of existing researches. The other part is giving us an overview of existing solutions and good examples of practice at Czech schools and schools in abroad. The main part represents an experiment description including own solution proposal used at the primary school in Staňkov. Smart cities of the 21st century

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá konceptem chytrých měst 21. století. Jejím účelem je popsat zmíněný fenomén a diskutovat jeho zavedení. Konkrétně rozebírá šest oblastí, do kterých se koncept dělí a popisuje moderní technologie využívané v chytrých městech. Dále zmiňuje problematiku kyberbezpečnosti ve spojitosti s ochranou osobních dat a zajištěním správného fungování města. Jako příklady chytrých měst jsou uvedené Praha a Londýn, u kterých jsou rozebrány jejich individuální strategie pro zavádění konceptu společně s příklady chytrých projektů, které už města uskutečnila. Na základě dvou vybraných indexů je pak provedeno porovnání úrovně chytrosti daných měst.
Didactic software for chemistry education at the ISCED 2 level

1 ABSTRACT The current chemistry education solves problems related primarily to the setting of the curriculum contents, which would be professionally correct, appropriately extensive, and at the same time connected with current aspects of life in modern society, and to problems of teaching strategies that would stimulate the students into an interest in science and commitment to it. The main goal of this dissertation is to create an educational website with an interactive chemistry course for lower secondary schools (ISCED 2) and verify its effectiveness in school practice. The first part of the dissertation describes methods of interactive chemistry teaching supporting the increase of the students' cognitive activity and the effectiveness of the learning process using ICT. The second part characterizes the chemistry course thus created and lists various ways to apply interactive teaching in it. Our interactive course contains a total of 14 thematic units, each with 2-6 subthemes. All themes are processed with respect to the practical application of the subject matter using the listed interactive education methods.
