School Management and Implementing of Global Developing Education into Teaching

The final bachelor paper deals with Global Developing Education and its level of integration in different kinds of schools' curriculum. Therefore it is based on the definition of Global Developing Education, basic documents (Národní strategie Globálního rozvojového vzdělávání pro období 2011-2015) and a panel discussion on this topic. In its research part the paper brings information on how the school stuff managers are familiarized with this topic and whether they are involved somehow. The found out data could bring advice for managers who are unfamiliar with above mentioned, reveal problems of integration. As well as help to clarify this issue and move the topic into the centre of school management's interest.
Evaluation of implementation of National Strategy of global development education in Czech primary education

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of Global Development Education and the process of the implementation of National Strategy for Global Development Education in Czech primary schools. In 2011, the National Strategy for Global Development Education came into force, thereby Czech Republic adopted the principles and objectives of Global Development Education. Goals that are defined in the document are supposed to be implemented in the next five years. However, as the thesis shows the implementation is a complex process that depends on a wide range of aspects. The author has attempted to identify factors that influence the success of the implementation process. In addition, the thesis tried to answer the question of whether the implementation of the goals of the strategy thrive or fail, and explain why this is happening. With the use of ongoing evaluation practical recommendations to improve the process of implementation of the National Strategy for Global Development Education was proposed. Documentary film in the global development of education in high schools

Diploma thesis Documentary film in the global development education in high schools deals with the issue of the global development education in conditions of Czech high schools. The aim of the diploma thesis is to introduce possibilities of utilisation of the documentary film as a method of global development education. The theoretical part elaborates on the global development education in the school curriculum and one of it's educational instruments - documentary film. The empirical part is focused on preparedness of the future high school teachers for use of documentary film in the global development education and it is also concerned with their attitudes and knowledges of the theme.

Abstract, Keywords Implementation of Global Developmental Education in Low - Threshold Facility for Children and Youth in Čáslav. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe an experiment, which is currently taking place in a low-threshold facility for children and youth called Domek. It describes the implementation of global developmental education with the possibility of interconnecing the topics and activities into the common activities of the facility Domek. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, which is theoretical, we are acquainted with the global developmental education, its goals, topics and methods. Further sections deal with the topic of low-threshold facilities in general, respectively with the facility Domek and the researches in other low-threshold facilities. In the second, practical part, we are introduced to the project and its activities which have already taken place in the low-threshold facility and whose aims were to integrate the global developmental education into the ordinary activities. This thesis focuses on the topic of Global development education using the pedagogical approach of Philosophy for children. The main objective is to develop its own proposal of educational materials. Which will deal with the possibilities of using this theme to the first grade of primary school. The theoretical part is divided into two parts, the first is characterized by Global development education and the second the Philosophy for children. In the practical part we are shown three draft their own learning activities, which are fully capable of being put into teaching practice of geography at 1st level of basic education, especially for 4th and 5th grade.

In the first theoretical part of the thesis, I focus on explaining terms such as globalization, crisis of upbringing, civic responsibility, global upbringing, global developmental education, and educational reform. In the case study, I describe the ways global development education is provided by NaZemi.
Proposal for implementation of global education for children of primary school age (including comparison of education systems in developed and developing countries, focusing on the Czech Republic and Namibia respectively)

Diploma thesis delivers a global education methodology for schoolchildren, designed for teachers and including materials for students. Suggestions are based on theoretical knowledge centred on the comparison of education systems in developed and developing countries, focusing on the Czech Republic and Namibia respectively. The theoretical part of the thesis is the process of developing the concept of global education via a Czech concept known by the acronym GRV. The thesis further develops the theoretical basis of the GRV concept by establishing criteria using suitable GRV material. It also considers the current state of GRV in context of primary education in Czech schools and opportunities for more effective implementation in the Czech educational system.
