Electronic Chessboard on the FITKit Platform

This thesis deals with the analysis, design and implementation of chess on FITkit platform. The platform is connected to the VGA monitor, on which is shown the chessboard with the figures. The game is controlled by using the keyboard on FITkit platform. The work describes the realisation of the unit for the display of the checkerboard that is implemented in the programmable gate field. Software of the microcontroller controls the depictive unit, generates possible moves and checks strokes of figures. There is a control whether the King does not have the check and if the game is not over because of checkmate or stalemate.
The Design of Minimal Bluetooth Stack

This master's thesis main aim is to design minimal Bluetooth stack for embedded applications running on an education platform FITkit. This paper contains a theoretical foundation for that work and implementation description. The main section includes Bluetooth protocol stack design and main opportunities which such a design raises.
Software Onboard Computer for Automobile with KWP-1281 Interface

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to develop a system that will work as on-board computer for cars with diagnostic connector OBD2 and communication protocol KWP-1281. The main goal is to get information about the fuel consumption and show it properly on smartphone with OS Android. The system is implemented on platform FITkit and smartphone with OS Android. Java language was used to implement the application for Android, C language was used to implement the program for FITkit.
Multiple Object Tracking

This paper is focusing on technical specification, concept and implementation of multiple object tracking with using a standard web camera. Image data processing has been done through the OpanCV library. The system is able to rotate the camera, in order to have the chosen target in the center of the screen. FITkit controller has been used to control the camera. The software has been implemented in the C++ environment.
Sound Module for FITkit Platform

Implementation of Generic VLIW Processor in FPGA

VLIW processors are parallel computing devices that are used in embedded devices as well as in servers. My thesis contains description of this architecture. It is aimed at making and subsequently implementing design of custom general-purpose VLIW processor with wide range of configurable parameters. Operational implementation of such processor in VHDL which can be tested on FITkit platform is an integral part.
Interactive FITkit Model

The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of interactive model of FITkit platform and its presentation on the Internet. It shows different ways of presentation of the three-dimensional content in web browsers and provides a comparison of commercial as well as non-commercial tools. The introductory part is focused on the description of the Flash technology, the available 3D frameworks and the programming language ActionScript. The second part discusses the selection of the appropriate Flash framework and describes the implementation.
Video Player Based on FPGA

This thesis deals with possible and realized decompression and playing of video on platforms, using FPGA unit. For implementation of this player is used platform FITKit, which has integrated VGA connector and large enough RAM memory. It uses a hard drive as memory medium with FAT32 file system.
FITkit VGA Grabber

This paper discusses the possibilities of realization of VGA grabber for FITkit. Text is focused on software and hardware implementation possibilities. The first part introduces the reader to the theory of the issue. Next, the paper proposes several options of VGA grabber implementation and brief evaluation of alternatives. The second part describes a chosen architecture of VGA grabber of the featured options and includes a brief summary of the findings of the processor LPC4370 from NXP and USB Video Class UVC, on which the resulting architecture is based. The conclusion includes a brief summary.
Telepresence Autonomous Robot for Exploration of Unapproachable Areas

The subject of this master's thesis was to get familiar with a robot developed at the Department of Intelligent Systems of FIT VUT Brno. The goal of this work was to design and then implement hardware and software improvements of the robot so it could be capable of telepresence exploration of a narrow cave using remote control, including autonomous return back to the entrance. Also suggest possible extensions for a further improvement of the robot.
