Approaches of Roma parents to the education of their children.

The diploma thesis deals with the approaches of Roma parents living in socially excluded localities in Chomutov to the education of their children. The thesis deals with the issue of social exclusion in the Czech Republic and also in the locality of Chomutov. The thesis also informs about the so-called Strategic Plan for Social Inclusion for the years 2017-2020, which was prepared for the city of Chomutov, in cooperation with the city management and the Agency for Social Inclusion and describes in detail the Local Inclusion Plan, which forms an important part of the Strategic Plan for Social Inclusion . It also deals with the issue of education and education for Roma children, segregation of Roma children in schools, inclusive education. The work also deals with Roma parents, Roma children and their pupil role, their social environment with respect to the fulfillment of the given goal. Furthermore, it informs about the personality of a teacher who works with Roma children at school and his / her competences. As a method of data collection, the method of individual interviews with Roma parents was used to achieve the chosen goal. Internal communication is essential for every company. However it is not always perceived as such. Internal communication is a conveyor of information and company's values. It is based on corporate culture and it also influences in. It affects atmosphere and performance of the company, engagement and overall happiness of employees. It is also related to the rate of their fluctuation. Diversity, which is the key to the diversity of approaches and perspectives, is also comparatively important to the functioning of the company. Diversity brings more effective problem solving or team functioning. In this respect, companies should strive for gender equality in their working environment and take supportive initiatives to help women overcome barriers in the labor market. The Czech Republic is one of the worst-ranked countries in the European Union in terms of gender equality in the labor market. This diploma thesis deals with the interconnection of internal communication and topics related to promoting women in work and personal life. The aim of this thesis is to use qualitative research to find out how selected domestic companies work with these topics in internal communication.
Equal Opportunities in Construction Engineering

Bachelor’s thesis "Equal Opportunities in Construction Engineering" deals with gender equality of employment opportunities, work-life balance, alternative employment and employment of graduates. Basic terms are introduced in the theoretical part. Based on the hypotheses carried out questionnaire survey is evaluated in the practical part. According to the evaluation of the investigation, steps are proposed to improve equal opportunities in construction companies.
The situation of women on the labor market in Slovakia with focus on the women in managerial positions

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of gender equality and equal opportunities on the labor market in Slovakia. The first part is theoretical an it defines basic concepts, which are necessary for understanding this issue. The theoretical basis is used for the practical part which is focused on women in managerial positions and it consists of two parts. The analysis assesses the condition in achieving gender equality in these positions in Slovakia in comparison with another EU country. The second part is the qualitative research, the interviews with the women working in managerial positions. The intention of this bachelor thesis is to map the area which is not given enough attention in Slovakia. The main objective is to assess the situation in gender equality in managerial positions in Slovakia, to find causes for the found facts and to propose solutions for improving the situation.
The position of women in the labour market

This bachelor thesis focuses on problematics of the position of women in the labor market within the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to introduce gender issue and clarify the current situation of women in the labor market. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and the practical part. Literature based theoretical part explains the main terms and definitions for understanding and performing the research in the practical part. It also outlines the legislative framework for equal opportunities for men and women in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Furthermore, I described the historical development of approach to women, not only in the labor market, but in the society in general. The practical part examines the situation of women in the labor market in the Czech Republic in comparison with other EU countries, identifies the main problems of equal opportunities in the Czech labor market and explores university students' opinions on the whole issue. In conclusion, I proposed suggestions and recommendations that could lead to improvements in this area.
The Competition of Local Goverment Officies of the Year "Half and half" (Fifty percent representation of women) - A Reflection of the Selected Aspects of Local Goverment Officies Development

The diploma thesis analyses local authorities taking part in the competition The Authority of the Year:"Half to Half" - Respect for Equal Opportunities. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the progress, regress or stagnation of the selected local authorities with respect to gender equality. The thesis also carries out a more in-depth analysis of the current state of gender equality promotion by local authorities. The theoretical part introduces the background of promoting gender equality. Attention is paid to the strategy of gender mainstreaming and to how gender equality is connected to public administration. The research aims to analyse the development of local authorities in their promotion of gender equality, and it also provides conclusions and recommendations based on this analysis.
