LITENČICE CASTLE - A NEW CONCEPT OF RECOVERY OF LAND USE CASTLE GROUNDS
Petrová, Markéta ; Pospíšil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
Thesis suggests a recovery of Litenčice castle in the Zlín region. In the current state of the castle it's apparent that in the past fifty years it went through rough times during which it has been decaying or has been inappropriately and inconsiderably renovated. My concept of revitalization is based on a humble approach to the current state and the effort to restore the dignity of this sumptuous mansion. Great emphasis was also put on the eventual execution of the project which is why I changed some of the aspects in order to meet with the owner's vision. Due to high costs of repairs and insurance of continuity of revitalization I was seeking to make opportunities for economic returnability. My aim was to create a complex in which it is possible to spend the weekend with whole family. Renovating the stables makes for an attraction for children just as much as it gives the opportunity travel nearby surroundings by horses. Furthermore, it will be possible to participate in workshops as to reduce the costs of partial repairs notably. As the owner of the castle currently offers the sale of hunting tickets I decided to renovate the premises of the main castle to function as accommodation for these clients. In the event that the above-mentioned objectives were successful it is convenient to think about the consequences. Maintenance of a large object naturally caries the burden of high costs which can be partially eliminated by workshopping, which will be supported by an ecocentre which is placed nearby the stables.

This bachelor thesis deals with the restoration of a castle in Velké Němčice. The thesis builds on an architectural study carried out in the AG033 course of the Restoration of Monuments Studio. The task of the thesis is to create a complete project for the appropriate restoration and reconstruction of the castle and to propose its new utilization. At the same time, the thesis focuses on the solution of the castle's immediate surroundings. The object of the solution will be designed as a socially cultural object with administrative functions. The castle should serve as a new town hall, and in accordance with this, the following rooms will be created in the castle: a ceremonial hall, information center, mayor's office, secretary's office, registry office, accountant's office, archive, library, club room, refreshment facility, and interactive room. To achieve the implementation of the new operation in the castle, the correct restoration of the historical object is necessary. Using surveys and historical sources, I examine the architectural values and construction of the building. I strive to preserve historically significant layers, remove intrusive modern elements, and return the object its original expression. With the help of new technologies, I also strive to preserve the building for future generations. I propose minimum use of modern structures and elements, and therefore mainly focus on proper reconstruction and restoration.

It is this unique today is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its unique style of Baroque Gothic. The monastery was closed by decree of Emperor Joseph II. in 1784. Shortly after he was bought by the nobility. Despite these events complex kept its position as a cultural and educational center continues to serve lidem.1930 lock acquires ownership of the Kinsky family, but in 1948 there is a nationalization of assets transferred under the management and ownership of the state. This period brought a large decline of the entire complex, which after centuries of its unique position came. Today's attempt to correct these errors started after returning the property to its original owners, the Kinsky family. Current owner Konstantin Kinský trying to build on the tradition and education. Very convenient position at the junction large cities of Prague and Brno, architectural and historic qualities combined with the beauty and diversity of the surrounding nature helps lock to become a major tourist center. The aim is to underline this position a lucrative background and offering his own castle, while keeping genius loci and underline its importance. Given the set goal and the architecture of the campus, I divided the complex into three zones, which are variable deeper into the area treat. The first zone is public, it consists of museums, galleries and meeting facilities, it is the noisiest and accessible first. Serve as regular visitors and tourists who are staying in the area. This zone is a kind of buffer, protecting the gradual calming. The second zone is a semi-public, already serves local school pupils and visitors to the spa and hotel guests. This zone also serves as an access and smoothing filter. The last zone is semi-private. Almost in its entirety it occupies park hotel, which dates back to the shore of the pond and is adjacent to the private gardens of Princess Tamara Kinski. This environment is free from all the noise and undesirable elements associated with heavy traffic roads and features associated with the first zones. They serve as a refuge. All zones are connected barrier-covered footbridge, which starts at and ends up on the edge of the complex ecology museum. This bridge will merge as a kind of mediator and connections between functions and increases the comfort offered. The bridge is fully enclosed and provides a safe journey and a refuge from the often raw local weather. The entire complex is designed as a universally embracing space. The area serves primarily for the pleasure of the mind and soul and allow himself to penetrate wildness and diversity Zdarske nature. Scale remains a very human and avoids congestion visitor. They serve as a refuge in the wildness of the landscape and the environment as a place of education, culture and history.

Restoration of the chateau and manor house in Vážany nad Litavou
Machová, Kamila ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
This work aims to restore the castle and the manor house in Vážany nad Litavou. This building is located in the centre of the southern part of the village of Vážany nad Litavou, on the main street. The building is situated roughly in the middle of a series of estates on the west side of this street. The building is a rugged corner building. The building is not a cultural monument, but as part of this work, we try to treat the building as if it were a cultural monument. The history of the building is not well documented and the first written references date back to 1643. In the 16th century, the Jesuits built not only an economic building in Vážany nad Litavou but also a chateau in the corner position, which is partly palatial and partly ground floor. In the 19th century, the castle is transformed into a classical castle. After 1945, the entire facility was confiscated and forfeited to the state. Five years later, the newly established single agricultural cooperative was put into administration. Cooperative offices were created in the building and two housing units were created on the floor, which later replaced only storage space. Today, the castle building serves the needs of various private institutions and has remained as it was acquired during the early 19th century. My prosal aims to restore the structure to serve the public again. Interference with the exterior appearance from the aisle section will be demonstrated by replacing and increasing the rafters in the right and left wings of the building, replacing roofing, adding roof windows and replacing existing windows with six-table windows. The building gets a new facade. The appearance of the building from the side of the yard will be complemented by a rectangular extension of steel with a glass facade and decorated art stained glass. This addition will include a new staircase.
