Non-contact Temperature Measurement
Lata, Miroslav ; Janečka, Jan (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis was to create a study of development non-contact temperature measurement and show methods of measurement in infra-red radiation area. The beginning of this work is focused on major notions and definitions necessary to introduce non-contact temperature measurement topic. Other interest of this work was to mention possible error rate of measurement, it’s reasons then name some ways of calibration of a measuring equipment with it’s reasons too. Last part of this thesis was focused on a practical using of these measuring devices.
CFD software calibration
Gego, Tomáš ; Zima, Martin (referee) ; Popela, Robert (advisor)
The objective of this thesis was to calibrate a CFD software for use on a Formula Student race car. The calibration is performed by comparing the experimental data from the measurement of a single element wing in a wind tunnel with the same case replicated in a CFD software, for which the optimization of settings of the meshing and solver is performed. The result is an evaluation of deviations of CFD by assessing aerodynamic characteristics such as downforce, drag, pressure distribution, separation and wake in freestream and ground effect. The results are processed into a graphical and text form for future use in the design of aerodynamic components.
Calibration and linearization of an RTD sensor
Hucl, Václav ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
First part of this work is focused on the description exist method of analogue and digital calibration and linearization static parameters resistance sensors. Second part deal with concrete problem linearization thermistor NTC by multivibrator compound of two transistors same polarity and multivibrator, where active element is operational amplifier. Last part of bachelor work is devoted digital linearization based on curve fitting and linearization based on piecewise-linear interpolation, their using with thermistor NTC and comparison their attributes.
Circuit Parameters Measurement by S parameters - Laboratory Experiment
Karniš, David ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes a method of measuring impedance suitable for determining the properties of RF and microwave circuits. The main objective is to get acquainted with S parameters, method of measuring them with vector analysis and with equivalent circuits of passive elements. Further is discussed the issue of calibration and its parts. The following section describes the product design process, concluded by verification of measuring method and design.
IR camera data processing
Malík, Dalibor ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to give information about the thermo camera measurement with error minimization. The basic concepts of thermography are explained with an implementation of postprocesing technique which uses graphically modified thermogram back projected to the scene. This is closely related to the scene design, calibration of thermal camera with projector, image rectification, thermogram processing with highlighting of interesting information and implementation of control elements as the user interface. The results obtained are analyzed and re-evaluated.
Interest Rate Models
Butkovičová, Ivana ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on a description of the interest rate models that are applied in the sphere of financial mathematics. Furthermore, it specifically describes the Vašíček model, Cox-Ingersoll-Ross model, Ho-Lee model and Hull-White model. These models are given by the stochastic differential equations. The main terms of the Stochastic Calculus are described in the theoretical part of the thesis. All the above models are also calibrated. Moreover, the spot and forward interbank interest rate—LIBOR is described in the thesis. By applying specific data, that are available in the public database of the Czech National Bank, we have simulated the Vašíček and Cox-Ingersoll-Ross models. The obtained results are interpreted.
Elaboration of Methodology for Hydrometer Calibration
Malina, Pavel ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This work deals with Elaboration of Methodology for Hydrometer Calibration. The main goal of this work is to gather together information about humidity, hygrometer, calibration and make methodology for hydrometer calibration. Part of the work is an online system for manipulation and administration of calibration results.
Calibration and evaluation of data from strain gauges
Dubina, Jozef ; Mačák, Martin (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes calibration and evaluation of data measured from tensometric sensors. The labour describes tensometers in general, their functions, aplications and principle of operation. Loading data from tensometric sensors is next part of this labour, where are information how to convert analog to digital signal output, which is ready for processing and shows real values. After signal is converted to digital signal, is needed to calibrate tensometers to receive high precission values of weight according to reference load. Thesis describes choices of electronic and mechanical components for building digital scale. Software developing for this electronic equipment is described in next part of thesis.
Augmented Reality for Desk Board Game
Richter, Jiří ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
Cílem této práce je vytvořit systém, který bude vylepšovat zážitek z hraní deskových a především karetních her, promítáním relevantních multimediálních informací do herního prostoru. V první části jsou popsány přínosy deskových a karetních her.
Hydraulic analysis of the supply pipeline to the Kravsko reservoir in Znojmo city
Jaroš, Zdeněk ; Lušovský, Michal (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
This thesis provides hydraulic analysis of an existing water supply pipeline from Kasárna reservoir to Kravsko reservoir near Znojmo. The thesis structure is divided into two parts – the first is theoretical, the second part is a practical research. The theoretical part outlines currently used procedures, principles and available software programs. Thesis concentrates on a software called EPANET 2.0 which is also used for hydraulic analysis. In the research part, the thesis offers a description of the chosen site, a field survey followed by the process of assessment and a construction of a hydraulic model by the EPANET 2.0 software. The final part evaluates performed hydraulic analysis and proposes concepts for water supply pipeline renovation.
