Unstability cut of laser beam at dividing limiting gauge thickness
Kadlec, Zdeněk ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities of cutting strong steel metal sheets by means of laser and problems rising from the incision, their technological investigation. The basic philosophy consists on the research of the interaction between laser bunch and material, depending on the position of focal poin and sequential results in spec. heat. It determines the main parametres of the incision (from the total quantities and matematical description) which have the biggest effect on the occurence of wide cut and perhaps even on the quality of products and consequential optimalization of these quantities.
Comparing roughness of cutting edges in cutting of CO2 and YbYAG laser
Podaný, Petr ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of cutting edge roughness in the process of laser gas cutting using the CO2 laser and laser solid-state cutting using the Yb:YAG laser. The theoretical part is consists of a basic information on industrial lasers and a their methods which use for material cutting. There is part of describing of problems optimum settings cutting parameters and all of roughness measurement. The experimental part was measurement of 20 samples. Samples were made of structural steel DC 01 a S235JR+N, stainless steel X5CrNi18-10+2B and aluminum alloy AlMg3. In the following part is the description of materials and also laser radiation which was used to production of samples. The end of this bachelor thesis is dedicated to evaluation and place in a folder is ČSN EN ISO 9013.
Optimization of a part production made of a structural 20 mm thick steel using laser cutting technology
Šoukal, Hynek ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the optimization of process parameters in the oxidative laser cutting of structural 20 mm thick steel with regard to the type of material, the resulting roughness of the cut and the resulting price of the product. In line with the literary study and the Taguchi method, an experiment was developed. The cutting speed, laser performance, cutting gas pressure, and focal position were controlled during the experiment. Sample sets were cut with 7.5" and 10" focusing lens from the TATA STEEL S355MC and SSAB LASER 355 MC steels. According to ČSN EN ISO 9013, the samples were evaluated for roughness. Then micro and macro structures were evaluated, and compare the hardness according to Vickers. In conclusion, technical and economic evaluation was determined.
Evaluation of the quality of laser cutting surfaces
Krejčiřík, Marek ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
As the title implies, the topic to be solved in this diploma thesis was describing and evaluating the CO2 and fiber laser cutting technologies and their comparison with plasma and oxygen cutting, described in the standard ČSN EN ISO 9013. Samples of IMEX 700 high-strength fine-grain steel with a yield strength of 690 MPa were used and subjected to a final quality assessment. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part is mainly focused on a laser. Among other things, the principle of plasma and oxygen cutting was discussed. The cutting edges of samples cut by these methods were analyzed and compared in an experiment. Last but not least, the surface roughness, material hardness, and their measurement methods were discussed in the theoretical part. The final cuts after laser, plasma, and oxygen cutting were evaluated and compared in the experimental part. The roughness of the individual cuts was compared, and measured values were classified into the relevant quality classes specified by the standard EN ISO 9013. The thermal influence of the cutting joint, the width of the thermally influenced area and the hardness history were further evaluated parameters. The obtained results were discussed and summarized in the conclusion. Studied technologies were compared. Based on the experiment, fiber laser cutting was determined as the best choice regarding quality and economics.
Design of Technology for Cutting and Engraving of Rotary Semi-finished Products for the CO2 Laser
Šrenk, Vojtěch ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and implementation of a rotary axis in a CO2 laser cutter for the ability to cut and engrave rotary workpieces. The thesis is focused on identifying several similar available known competitive solutions, for which the pros and cons were evaluated. Based on the findings, suitable parameters were selected to achieve maximum versatility of the proposed system. Versatility in this respect is related to the ability to cut and engrave the widest possible range of rotary workpieces. The thesis also describes the design solution, axis assembly procedure, production design and production of individual components using 3D printing technology (FFF), selection of suitable standardized components and the actual implementation. The conclusions then focus on the proposed solution from an economic and technical point of view.
Proposal of a Marketing Strategy to Increase the Use of Production Equipment in a Selected Company
Vozák, Tomáš ; Havíř, David (referee) ; Chlebovský, Vít (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the marketing strategy of a small family business and is divided into three main parts. The first part describes the theoretical background of marketing and is important for a better understanding of the subject. In the second part of the thesis an analysis of the internal and external environment of the company is made on the basis of the theoretical knowledge. The conclusions from these analyses are then used in the third part of the thesis, which is focused on the formulation of specific proposals for improving the marketing strategy of the company.
Design and realization of CO2 laser with power up to 100W
Šrenk, Jakub ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This work is focused on the problematics of small CO2 lasers and their possible use for commercial production. The first part describes devices available on the market and evaluation of their parameters. The practical part specifies the parameters that arise from the potential use of technology. Based on these parameters, design of the machine and its complete mechanical design are elaborated. Furthermore, the experimental part deals with the design of structural components, control system, electrical systems and in general a complex technical-technological solution of the equipment, including economic evaluation of the design. Part of the work is also the construction of the machine itself, including activation, adjustment and debugging for the considered production. The constructed machine was subject to testing to ensure required quality of production.
Use of laser machines for metal cutting technology
