Peer relationships of children with behavioral disorders in early adolescence

ABSTRACT: In my bachelor thesis I present the issue of peer relations in the period of adolescence. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a probe into relationships among peers within the Dětský domov se školou Měcholupy. I tried to map the quality of the team and to find out the influence of sex and placement into school classrooms and family groups on relationships of children. For the mapping of peer relationships, I first used the sociometric questionnaire B- 3U, which I then added by another questionnaire. The results of both methods I mutually compared and created insight into the relationships of adolescents in DDŠ Měcholupy. Problems of bullied pupils and teachers in elementary schools

The thesis is focused on problems of bullied pupils and teachers in elementary schools. The theoretical part describes the matter of bullied pupils and teachers. The terms like bullying and cyber bullying are explained. The thesis also deals with main signals, phases and forms of bullying. It defines main actors of bullying, their relations and the consequences which bullying causes. The thesis also deals with the characteristic of bullying and its preventing. The practical part is made by the research which is focused on the issue of bullying in children collective and bullying teachers. The research instruments were questionnaires about bullying, their goals were to find out the occurence of bullying between the pupils and the teachers. The results proved that the bullying occures in a third of the pupils who were also able to describe how and how often they are hurt. It was also proved that the bullying is such an unpleasant topic between teachers that they are not able to accept its existence and that it is very problematic to find the way to solve it. The results are processed both in written form and graphic form in wiev of the theoretic knowledge from the first part.
Analysis of the educational needs of pupils with behavioral problems

My bachelor's thesis is entitled "Analysis of the educational needs of pupils with behavioral problems". It iconsists of a literary survey of the field and a research proposal following the conclusions of the theoretical part of the work. Last mentioned is divided into three parts. The first one is dealing with educational needs of students (meaning needs of all pupils). The second one defines a group of students, which we refer to as "students with behavioral problems." And the third part analyzes their educational needs. Results of mentioned parts imply the need to focus on creating an school environment, which will prevent behavioral problems of pupils. Behavioral disturbances according to ICD-10 at pupils of elementary school and special elementary school

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to map the occurrence of behavioural disorders in the base of pupils in special elementary schools and in standard elementary schools, in the same time. The guiding document for this thesis is the International Classification of Diseases, rev. 10 (ICD-10), supplemented within particular diagnoses by specific case history of school practice. There is a brief historical overview of the ICD's development and its current form followed by successively given various diagnoses of behavioural disorders together with a brief description of diagnosis, symptoms and procedures to address or treat these disorders in the thesis. The bachelor's thesis is focused to individual case histories, then. In the context of reported cases, the manifestations or solutions of rate of problems are outlined within school pupils as they occur in common practice of elementary schools. Comparison of theoretical and practical part brings new and interesting information, in this context.
Attitudes of adolescents in institutional care towards paternity

This bachelor thesis deals with conception of family of adolescents who are placed in institutional care. The target group of adolescent men aged 15-17 years, who are placed in a diagnostic institute for youth, was selected. The main aim of this work was to find out what attitudes these chosen adolescents have toward paternity. The theoretical part of the work focuses on selected characteristics of adolescence, parenthood and the specifics of the diagnostic institute for youth and children or adolescents who are placed in it. It also describes attitudes and possibilities how to measure them. The empirical part of the work represents a qualitative research, which was carried out within this thesis. A semi-structured interview was chosen as a method of data collection, after that the data were rewritten and analysed using interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA). The results of the research introduce a typology of ideal roles that the figure of the father should fulfill according to the respondents. In their conception of family, selected adolescents mostly work with the traditional concept of family. The bachelor's thesis deals with the professional orientation, the assumptions and the ability of adolescents with behavioural disorder. The main aim of this work is to discover whatthe professional orientation of adolescents with behavioural disorders is and compare the assumptions and abilities of these adolescents with their professional aspirations. A partial goalof this work is to analyse the fluctuation (stability) of their direction. The first part of the thesisis devoted to the theoretical basis. The second part is devoted to the research itself that was done using the Bochum's Business-Focused Inventory of Personality, the Self-Directed Searchand a non-standardized questionnaire.
Client's Profile in the boarding department of educational care centers Klíčov since 2005

This bachelor thesis is concentrated on clients of Klíčov Care Centre Boarding school department for a period of 15 years, from 2005 to 2020. Objective of this bachelor thesis is to map the development of client's profile of this Care Centre when considering possible changes in basic attributes of behavioral disorders. Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Beginning of theoretical part is devoted to description of Klíčov Care Centre, its history and all forms of offered services. This thesis deals with behavioral disorders and their basic characteristics. Next part focuses on the individual stages of child development with regard to the possible disorders development. Practical part is devoted to SVP Klíčov Boarding school client's profile. Necessary data was obtained by thorough comparison of annual reports and statistics of SVP Klíčov. Processing of obtained data sets led to creation of several profiles of client of SVP Klíčov. The described profiles reflect evolution of client's behaviour in respect of development cultural and social norms. Differences in the client's profile are presented in four case studies. Educating children from a Children's Home

Dissertation is focused on the issue of institutional care in the Czech Republic. The main focus of this work are children's homes, education and socialization of children placed in this type of residential care. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the characteristics of subjects of institutional care in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, to compare institutional care with selected countries and describe the child's socialization in the family and at school. A historical overview of institutional care in the Czech Republic is also described, and in conclusion the author deals with a specific description of the social inclusion of pupils with special educational needs in the teaching process at primary school. The empirical part reports on the research and its results obtained by qualitative methodology using case study design. The main goal of the research was to find out how children from a children's home are integrated into the teaching process at primary school. Furthermore, the author set several partial goals.
