Attitudes of nurses in clinical workplaces towards nursing students
BOBKOVÁ, Veronika
The attitudes of nurses in clinical workplaces towards nursing students is important for quality teaching in students' practice, so in this work we will deal with this topic. Satisfaction on both sides, both on the part of nurses and on the part of the students in their practice in the clinical environment, is important. For this reason, we try to find out the most common problems in research and find solutions for them or specify the ideas of nurses and students. Main aim of thesis is to find out which attitude to the students of nursing care have nurses at clinical workplaces and to describe factors that influence the stand of nurses to those students at clinical workplaces while performing nursing care training. Five hypotheses have been set up. Quantitave survey has been used as the methodology of the thesis. Non-standardized questionnaires for nurses and students have been used. The questionnaires have been compiled based on studied resources, experience and knowledge resulting from clinical work experience. Questionnaire research of nurses was taking place 14. 1. 2022 to 11. 3. 2022. Students questionnaire research was taking place also from 14. 1. 2022 to 24. 3. 2022 from the reason of delay of returnability of questionnaires. The results suggest that the attitude of nurses in clinical workplaces towards nursing students is not different depending on the length of the nurses' practice, nor on the highest level of education attained. The attitude of nurses at clinical workplaces towards nursing students differs according to the workplace where the student's internship takes place. Factors that influence the attitude of nurses at clinical workplaces towards nursing students do not differ according to the clinical workplace, but differ according to the year in which the student is studying.
Attitude of the Lay Audience to the Problematic of Palliative Care
VONEŠOVÁ, Lucie
This bachelor thesis is focused on finding out the attitude of lay audience to the problematic of palliative care. Based on the set goal, the following hypotheses were created: H1: The attitude of the lay audience to the problematic of palliative care varies according to age. H2: The attitude of the lay audience to the problematic of palliative care varies according to the highest attained level of education. H3: The attitude of the lay audience to the problematic of palliative care differs based on previous experience. In the theoretical part of the work, the palliative care is defined and divided, it is also defined for whom it is intended, where this care can be met and what are the most common needs of patients. It also presents important historical data in the development of palliative care. The research part was carried out with the help of quantitative survey. The data were collected in the form of online surveys, which consisted of 20 questions focused on palliative care, dying and death. The research group consisted of 180 respondents. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used in the statistical evaluation of the data. The research confirmed all 3 established hypotheses. Due to age, it was found out that older people perceive the greater importance of palliative care and more often associate it with the care of the sick and poor, compared to younger ones. Furthermore, the research showed that people with higher education more often combine palliative care with care for the terminally ill and care for the entire family of the sick. The last hypothesis found out that people, who experienced palliative care, more often understand the benefits of the care and combine the palliative care with care for the incurably ill. Considering the results, an information leaflet, which aim is to contribute to the enlightenement of the topic of palliative care for the lay audience, was prepared.

To evaluate the hypothesis, the Kruskal-Wallis test was used. Thanks to the studied hypothesis it was learnt that there is not a statistically significant difference in the knowledge of men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region of the testicular cancer prevention depending on the age or the highest level of education. Later on there was also learnt that there is not a statistically significant difference in the attitude of men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region depending on age or the highest level of education. The study also revealed that there is not a statistically significant difference in the attitude of men in the South Bohemian and Vysočina region to the testicular self-examination depending on age or the highest level of education. The quantitative research was focused on primary and secondary school pupils in the Vysočina region, who were tested using 3 instruments - an attitudinal questionnaire taken from the MŠMT Circus Pedagogy project, a climate questionnaire by Ježek and Mareš and the Hrabal sociometric-rating questionnaire. Through various statistical tests, I verified that attitudes towards physical education are consistent with the literature reviewed and are in a slightly positive range, with the proportion of students with negative attitudes being less than 10 %.
