The Symbolism of Colors as a Speculative-Fiction
Špundová, Veronika ; Bena, Julie (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is an existential dystopian statement of a human actor. It is an object into which the author - the creator - user - actor projects her critical vision of a globalized, yet very local world torn apart by several crises at the same time, in which she longs to break free from anthropocentrism or redefine it to more respect a wide range of other actors, on which we are largely dependent. It tries to grasp reality from a new perspective, even if such a perspective should be mere imagination, speculative fiction, even if it should deviate from the usual directions of knowledge and action to the unknown, such as the magical irrationality. Formally, the subject of the bachelor's thesis is DIY tent sewn from upcycled textile materials and embroidered with ornaments, symbols and organic drawings, which form a variety of relationships and narratives. Inside this "outdoor shrine" there is an object - a totem standing on a tripod, on which rests a smartphone, which through the application plays three videos depicting the human actor in various strange surreal situations.

The analytical part of the doctoral thesis is based on a summative content analysis of public policy texts published in four extensive handbooks of public policy.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out and describe who participates in vocational training and how their mutual cooperation is implemented. In the thesis the author will try to find out the strengths and weaknesses of this cooperation. He will also try to find out in what kind of way the training of young people to the needs of the labour market is adapted. The thesis is a case study focused on the South Bohemian Region, which is briefly presented by selected indicators characteristic of the selected region. To obtain the necessary data, there are used figures and statistics from the former researches, as well as information from selected participants involved in the solution...

As part of the actors' analysis and beliefs, the Advocacy Coalition Framework and Actor-network theory is used. The thesis is based on both the primary data from the professional interviews and the secondary data from professional publications and legislative documents. The analysis is based on a thematic analysis of expert interviews and the analysis of the content of secondary documents.
The issue of legislative anchoring of euthanasia in the Czech Republic
Vlčkovová, Jana ; Angelovská, Olga (advisor) ; Dobiášová, Karolína (referee)
The Thesis deals with two issues closely associated with the end of life. It explores the reasons and attitudes of healthcare workers, legislators and general public who are supporting implementation of euthanasia in the Czech legislation. The key impulse for taking up this issue as the topic of the Thesis was initiation of its discussion by and under the guidance of Zlatuška on the proposal of the "act on dignified death". Additionally, the meeting stirred by Hamerský held in the Parliament on March 8, 2017 became another impetus for the work. As is elucidated further, activities of Hamerský, the assistant to Zlatuška, whose name is mentioned in the Thesis quite often, are closely related to the explored topic. The Thesis tries to unveil the exact reasons of the key actors and supporters for inducing some form of legislatively covered euthanasia, namely whether their effort is based on their true conviction. We will consider possible consequences should the euthanasia be introduced to the Czech legislation and analyse the reasons which lead to final rejection of the proposed act. The closing part of the Thesis will describe qualitative research done as an unstructured interview with two groups of physicians differing in the length of their medical practice by several years. Medical profession has...

The Horse and Its Rider: Enacting the Actors of the Interaction
Ožanová, Sarah ; Grygar, Jakub (advisor) ; Balon, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the horse-human relationship. It strives for answering the question how horse and human enact within this relationship and mutual interaction as the actors, which means active subjects that can participate in the relationship. The text tries to analyse how this relationship is influenced by other non-humans, such as the objects in the stable or the literature about horses. The text explores this through the lens of chosen theoretical and methodological concepts (the multispecies ethnography, Eduardo Kohn's anthropology of life or anthropology beyond the human, Donna Haraway's research of the non-humans and especially Bruno Latour's symmetrical anthropology and actor-network theory) that reach beyond the human and contain animals, objects and other non-humans. The research is based on participant observation and semi-structured interviews with the stable member. The analysis shows that the conditions of the horse-human relationship are mostly defined by the human. The human sets up the barriers within witch the horse can interfere partly (and probably unintentionally) in the mutual relationship by its reactions. The lifeless non-humans can substitute the human role of restricting the horse in this relationship. They can also reflect or reproduce certain notions or...
Problems of innovations in education from different points of view
Jarešová, Alžběta ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Zelinková, Anna (referee)
The diploma thesis discusses the issue of innovation in education. Although society and the requirements of a competetive person are changing Czech schools use only few innovative elements. The main objective is to identify and explain the current situation and find out when and why innovations are or are not implemented. Conditions are described as external (legislative, financing, staffing), but also the internal (teacher's personality, motivation, innovative potential). The research design is a case study, Hejny method at the chosen school. By means of semi-structured interviews with the main persons involved (teachers, school headmaster) identifies the events, changes, but also the participating actors and conditions and uncovers their role in the process, development in time. The author uses the 4-level public political cycle model, Multiple-streams theory, force field analysis and Model of change. The author reveals the key role players (the policy entrepreneurs and opponent of change). Many forming conditions is discovered. That is systemic, personal, organizational and social conditions. The work provides recommendations for the chosen school to successfully conclude the change. General recommendations for implementing innovation are also included.
Integration of children with ADHD syndrome at the primary school level
Richterová, Kateřina ; Angelovská, Olga (advisor) ; Mouralová, Magdalena (referee)
This thesis deals with an integration of children with ADHD syndrome to ordinary primary schools. Manifestations of the disorder hinder in pupil's education, therefore it's necessary to pursue to them individually. Thanks to an amendment to the Czech law in 2005, have these pupils with special educational needs greater attention. The author examines the implementation of integrational policies of pupils with ADHD syndrome, through interviews with street-level bureaucrats and their clients. When reviewing the two questioned cases the integration of pupils with ADHD syndrome in the presence of an assistant teacher seems like very good solution. But there is still a big role played by other concerned people like parents, teachers, teacher assistants, principals or counselors. Few shortcomings can be found in the integration, most often flowing from the inadequate funding or the obsolete education system. From results we can conclude that integrational trend is running in the Czech Republic, however there are not always appropriate conditions in schools.
