Irena Lhotková Ph.D. Abstract: This bachelor's thesis deals with problems of self-management of a newly qualified kindergarten headmistress. It is focused on issues of correct prioritization, awareness of own strengths and weaknesses, adequate delegation, effective time management, planning and possibilities of education for a headmistress. The target of this bachelor's thesis is to map, identify and analyze the most common problems in the area of self-management of a newly qualified headmistress in the kindergarten and suggest optimal possibilities how to reduce or eliminate these problems. The practical part of this thesis is based on research method. 109 headmistresses of Prague kindergartens were interviewed through electronic questionnaire. On the basis of this research three statements were confirmed and only one statement was partially disproved. Preventing burnout directors of kindergartens

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of burnout syndrome among kindergarten directors and the possibilities of its prevention. The first part provides theoretical background of burnout, specifies its symptoms and phases. It describes both risk and protective factors of burnout and presents long-, mid- and short-term preventive measures. Furthermore, it describes the workload of kindergarten director in the roles of leader, manager and executor of the teaching process. The practical part of the thesis aims to establish the extent of burnout among kindergarten directors, it examines its connection with the basic job responsibilities and it monitors the activities used by kindergarten directors at work and in their personal lives in order to prevent burnout.
Motivating factors influencing the work of directors of nursery school

Master's thesis entitled Motivating factors influencing the work of directors of nursery schools aims to identify motivational factors influencing the work of headmasters. The main objective of the research is to determine which of motivation, stimulation, and demotivating factors affect headmasters of nursery schools of the Pardubice Region. Based on quantitative and qualitative research lead to the fulfillment of specific objectives. The first partial objective is to conclude from created questions for a research and carrying out research among nursery schools among Managers of Pardubice region through a questionnaire survey and subsequent analysis of the data,what motivational factors, stimulation, demotivating and to what extent, affect the work of directors of nursery schools in Pardubice region. The second partial objective is to compare the motivational factors influencing the work of selected directors surveyed of nursery schools in Pardubice region at different stages of their professional development and to identify changes in the scope of these factors of motivation. Strategic management of school in the context of six-year term

The aim of the thesis is to determine whether there are limits that may restrict kindergarten headmaster in the strategic management of the school, considering a six-year term in office. The thesis consists of two main parts. In the theoretical part, the concepts such as strategic management of the school, position of the kindergarten headmaster and a six-year term in office are explained. The research part describes the processes at the school. Methods of observation, interview, questionnaires and document analyses, are used in order to collect the data which are coded, categorized, and then used to form a story.

The thesis called "The time frame of the director of kindergarten" deals with time analysis of directors in kindergartens. It comes out of basic knowledge of time management and the area of self-management. Further on it sees the time frame as one the techniques for successful time analysis. The integral part of the thesis is the research focused on a composition and a range of the various activities of the kindergarten director, which are related to her status. This thesis is an offer how to attain better time management with suitable methods and how to find a balance in between job satisfaction and a personal life. Comparison of the communication of the director of kindergarten with both pedagogical and non-pedagogical employees

This bachelor's thesis named "Comparison of the communication of the director of kindergarten with both pedagogical and non-pedagogical employees" deals with real differences of communication of director with both above mentioned groups of employees. In theoretical part, the fundamental terms of area of communication are explained. Especially those terms, which are connected with communication of director of kindergarten with employees. This explanation is also linked with recommendations and proposals leading to the effective communication. Through the method of questionnaire and interviews, possible differences in communication of director with both groups of employees, were explored. Outcomes of all the questionnaires were presented to the involved directors and confronted with outcomes of the interviews. Moreover, outcomes of interview with respective director were also confronted with outcomes of questionnaire of respective kindergarten. Findings of this bachelor's thesis bring comparison of the communication of the director of kindergarten with both pedagogical and non-pedagogical employees and offer a feedback to all involved directors in their communication with employees.
