Solved Problems in Optics
Jungová, Michaela ; Snětinová, Marie (advisor) ; Houfková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Solved Problems in Optics Author: Michaela Jungová Department: Department of Physics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Marie Snětinová, Ph.D., Department of Physics Education Abstract: Twenty problems in optics were created for electronic collection of solved problems in physics in my thesis. These problems contain detailed structured solutions with solved hints and pictures as well. You can find the problems in the chapter "Geometrical optics" on the website: http://reseneulohy.cz and on the enclosed CD. One of the chapters in my thesis deals with description of the problems. The thesis also engages in thesis engages in the way how to classify the problems using different standards. A proposal of a problem classification, that has been used in during study of both elementary and high school physics textbooks and collections, is presented in the thesis. The goals of this classification were two: to get the picture of school curriculum connected to optical problems and to propose suitable structure of the chapter Optics in the electronic collection, which is in the aboved mentioned electronic collection. Keywords: solved problems, classification of physics problems, electronic collection, optics
Solved Problems in Electricity and Magnetism
Jakubská, Iva ; Koupilová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Šabatka, Zdeněk (referee)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis was to supplement Collection of Solved Problems in Physics, which is developed by Department of Physics Education, with 25 tasks. The tasks are included in the chapters of Electricity and magnetism section. Each task has a structured solution; some tasks are enriched with pictures created by myself. In the Introductory part of this thesis the structure and reasons for choice of the topic of the thesis are described. Next chapter contains basic information about the collection. The third chapter comprises brief comments on the creation process of the tasks. A sample of the five tasks is included in an appendix; the rest is to be found on the enclosed CD or on the collection's website: http://fyzikalniulohy.cz/. In the Conclusion the merits of this Bachelor thesis are summarized. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Solved Problems in Optics for Electronic Collection
Homolová, Lenka ; Koupilová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Snětinová, Marie (referee)
These Bachelor thesis aim to extend Collection of Solved Problems in Physics by adding tasks to chapter wave optics and widening newly opened chapter named Optics. This collection is created at the Department of Physics Education. Twenty two tasks were prepared within this thesis and they are included in individual subsections of Wave optics chapter. Each task includes a structured solution and most of them newly drawn pictures. There is a brief description of the collection and characterization of all prepared tasks in the text of the thesis. Four tasks including their structured solution are shown in supplement. All tasks can be found on enclosed CD or on the website of Collection of Solved Problems in Physics http://fyzikalniulohy.cz/.
Solved problems in mechanics
Jungová, Michaela ; Mandíková, Dana (advisor) ; Kácovský, Petr (referee)
Title: Solved problems in mechanics Author: Michaela Jungová Department: Department of Physics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Dana Mandíková, CSc., Department of Physics Education Abstract: A set of tasks presented in this thesis is related to fluid mechanics and gravity field. The tasks were created for the electronic collection of solved problems in physics. Overall, fifteen tasks were created and are available on the website: http://fyzikalniulohy.cz/. The tasks include detailed structured solutions inclusive of images and help. Problems, aims, and structure are defined in the introduction. An overview of the curriculum, which discusses the topic of the elementary, middle and high school, is presented in the second chapter. The third chapter is devoted to several collections of tasks concerning the discussed issue. A brief general characteristic of the electronic collection, description of technical solution of tasks and the own contribution are contained in the fourth chapter. To this chapter, an appendix with examples of five tasks is attached. The results are summarized in the conclusion. The work is supplemented with a CD, which contains all the created tasks and the text of the thesis. Keywords: fluid mechanics, gravity field, electronic collection of tasks
Solved Problems in Theoretical Mechanics
Roskot, Michal ; Koupilová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Snětinová, Marie (referee)
The object of the bachelor's thesis was the creation of tasks for "Collection of Solved Problems in Physics". I have created 20 structured tasks on the subject of theoretical mechanics. These are mostly on a university level. I have successfully filled the chapters "The Principle of virtual work" and "Hamiltonian mechanics", which are included in the subject of theoretical mechanics. In order to create the bachelor's thesis it was necessary to get familiar with the web interface of the "Collection". At the same time to create pictures I had to learn to work with a graphical editor. In the text of the bachelor's thesis I characterize the technical solution of "Collection of Solved Problems in Physics", describe advantages of the used structure of the solved tasks and I briefly summarize content of the individual tasks.
New laboratory tasks for the course "Programmable logic controllers"
Chaňo, Patrik ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this work is to suggest and realize new assignments for the course "Programmable logic controllers" that are aimed at logic modules LOGO! made by the Siemens company. The first part contains the theoretical introduction of the LogoSoft! Comfort program and the overview of all used block functions. The second part of this work is dedicated to a set of tasks to solve, sorted according to the used functions, and difficulty.
Selected Solved Problems in Quantum Mechanics
Fišerová, Kateřina ; Bílek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Žák, Vojtěch (referee)
The main aim of this thesis was to create a set of problems in Quantum Mechanics, which would be included in a collection of solved problems in Physics available online on the website http://www.fyzikalniulohy.cz. As a result, thirty nine problems were completed, covering seven thematic areas partially of high school and mostly of introductory college Quantum Mechanics course. In general, the collection is mainly designed for college students as an exercise in basic quantum-mechanical problems and also for high school students, who have a desire to deal with some special problems. A detailed description of content, structure, and technical execution of this collection can be found in chapter 1 of this thesis. Another task was to review existing online collections of applets dealing with Quantum Mechanics. A selection of them is introduced in chapter 2 of this thesis.
Solved Problems in Electromagnetism for Electronic Collection
Pošta, Petr ; Koupilová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Ledvinka, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis is a follow-up to several bachelor and diploma theses which were dedicated to creating solved problems for Electronic Collection of Solved Problems in Electromagnetism. The first goal of this thesis was to make a short survey about electronic resources in electromagnetism, especially those which contain solved problems and provide open access to their contents. The second goal was to make a small collection of solved problems in this area which would be suitable for undergraduate students and which would fill in chapters with little amount of problems in the Electronic Collection. This Electronic Collection is openly accesible on the website of Department of Physics Education. Total of 30 solved problems have been made in this thesis, including hints, detailed solutions and suitable pictures. Methodical comments are also available for almost all problems.
