The quality of life at children with oncology desease

This diploma thesis is trying to figure out how is oncological disease and it´ s treatment affecting survivors life after curing the disease. Acute leukemia and its challenging and often aggressive treatment leaves many different late effects. Quality of life is a subjective assessment which to some extent depends on the nature of the individual. Even so, it is necessary to evaluate and examine the quality of life beacuse the results of researches can help other patients, but also nurses, doctors, psychologists and other helping professions. The theoretic part of the thesis describes the current state of the problem, introduces the basic and fundamental specifics of children's cancer, the treatment, the after-effects, deals with the description of the psychological problems of patients and their caregivers, which provides diagnosis itself, but also the treatment of the disease. It also introduces the psychological care about oncological ill patiens and the roles of the nurses in careing for the oncological patiens. Another part of the theoretical work is an introduction to the measurement and evaluation of quality of life. Work also introduces the leukemia disease, which is one of the most commonly diagnosed cancer diseases in children. The thesis has three goals. The first one is to determine how the treatment of the oncological disease affects life of survivors. The second one is to determine how children perceive various limitations of social contact that the treatment brings. The last third objective is to determine whether the cancer experience affects the attitude of the survivor children to live. In the practical part of the research was used quantitative research. The technique of data collection was standardized questionnaire Minneapolis Manchester Quality of Life Instrument which is divided into two versions for younger and older children. The research was also used for statistical evaluation of hypotheses. The questionnaire was distributed to children aged 8 - 18 years who were 2 - 5 years after treatment. The control group were the same aged healthy peers. Four hypotheses were determined. H1: Cured children have more difficulties in social functioning than healthy children. It was found that cured children have better outcomes in social functioning than their peers, hypothesis H1 is thus not confirmed. H2: Cured children have less energy for physical activities than healthy children. This hypothesis was confirmed neither in older or younger children. H3: Cured children are more satisfied with their appearance than healthy children. This hypothesis was based on the research and statistical verification verified. Last investigated hypothesis was H4: Cured children have more problems in cognitive functioning than healthy children. Based on the statistical verification hypothesis was not confirmed. The research and statistical studies show that cured children have the same or in some areas even better quality of life than their healthy peers 2 - 5 years after the end of active treatment. The nurse should be able to help and advise the patient and should emphatically and nicely cooperate with the family for which it is often even worse than for the patients themselves. This diploma thesis will be used for making of an internal seminars for nurses working at the Clinic of Pediatric Oncology. Nurses working at the bedsides of the patiens can use this theses as a feedback of thein work. Knowledge of late effects of anticancer therapy is essential to providing a high - quality care and application of evidence - based nursing in practice.

Issues of judicial proceedings of inheritance in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis characterizes a specified field of the civil law that deals with the judicial proceedings of inheritance through the analysis of professional literature and relevant case law. The attention is especially devoted to development of the legislation, the proceedings in the beginning of this judicial proceedings and its parties, the minor included, possible discretions of the decedent with his belongings, the conflicts appeared in this judicial proceedings, the settlement of the estate in entirety, the question of the overextended asset and the selected issues of judicial proceedings of inheritance with the international aspect (Regulation (EU) No 650/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council).The thesis points out the main amendments which have been brought to the judicial proceedings of inheritance by the recodification of the private law that has been in effect in Czech Republic since 01. 01. 2014. The thesis was composed by the method of description with elements of analysis and synthesis. The individual legal institutes are described, analytically examined and evaluated. There are presented their mutual connections and the view of the problematic as a whole. The comparative method was used as well by evaluating the present legislation with the former one that was in effect in the Czech Republic until 31. 12. 2013.

Students with leagning disabilities and behavioral problems at secondary education

Annotation This thesis deals with problematic of learning disabilities in secondary schools. The topic itself is deeply covered in foreign literature, but in Czech Republic, it has not yet been thoroughly described. The thesis offers a close look on the problematic of learning disabilities from the students' side as well as from the side of the teachers. One of the important parts of the thesis is secondary symptoms of dyslexia, which begins to appear in adolescence. These difficulties do not only affect education on secondary schools, but they also affect personal life of the dyslexic and later they are reflected at work. The thesis also includes advices how to compensate secondary symptoms. Main goal of the research was to discover, whether there is adequate care given to these dyslexic students and whether they are interested in such a specific care. On the side of the teachers, it was examined, whether they are sufficiently prepared for the work with the dyslexic students, how they perceive the students with dyslexia during the classes and how they are trying to help to these students. The conclusion of the thesis presents findings from the individual interviews with students and teachers which, together with research results, led me to draw topics for school practice. Consumer behavior in sport and a healthy diet

This bachelor thesis deals with consumer behaviour in an area of sport and healthy diet. The aim of this thesis is an identification of basic aspects of consumer behavior in the described area. In the thesis is also described the problematics of consumers behavior, there are mentioned factors affecting this kind of consumers and there is also described supply of the products and information about producers and distributors. For achieving the goal was done a survey. Analyzed results discute the problematics of the consumer behavior, their preferences and factors affecting them. Based on the survey were formulated recommendations for producers and distributors of sport and healthy nutrition.

Applying the information profession in machine industries

This bachelor work elaborates the Issue of exploitation the information profession in machine industry. It investigates appliance of information workers in machine companies. Subsequently it searches conditions of their utility in these companies. The aim of this work is to discover requirement of information workers in machine companies and type of activities they could do. The end of the work draws up a project of establishing information department in specific industry company. The bachelor work is built-up on questioner filled by eleven different companies.

Konstrukce fotopasti pomocí počítače RaspBerry Pi

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a functional photo trap using the platform of oneboard computer Raspberry Pi version 2. Photo trap is going to be used as CCTV or Security camera which také a photo every time it recognizes a movement. When the photo is taken, Raspberry Pi sends it to owner´s e-mail address and a notification about a movement detection is sent via Pushetta app to his mobile.

Taxation and transport

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find suitable regression models between the chosen statistical data of transport and GDP per capita and determine whether these models are statistically significant. The first part is a theoretical introduction to the problems of transport in terms of economics, as well as a description of methods of regression analysis, which is used in the practical part. The practical part draws data from Eurostat's website that provide for this thesis sufficient statistical basis. The data are graphically processed as scatter charts, based on these are determined mathematical equation of regression. The choice of suitable regression analysis is based on coefficient of determination and significance level is alpha = 0,05.
