This master thesis focuses on e-commerce, online marketing and Social Media marketing potential from theoretical factual and practical perspective. On the example of real start-up e-shop Didogo Group Ltd. it aims to show various possibilities how to enhance the company's and brands' recognition while implementing various online marketing and advertising tools. Particular focus is put on Social Media as up to date platforms suitable for marketing and advertising usage. After providing general theoretical and factual overview of e-commerce in the world as well as in Czech Republic, detailed description of various internet marketing tools and Social Media, it analysis Didogo's current state and marketing tools used up to date, and further provides list of recommendations for future marketing communication strategy of this company. Master thesis contains 79 pages, 10 figures, and 7 Appendixes.
Business processes reengineering in an integrated information system and the e-commerce application

Master thesis called "Business processes reengineering in an integrated information system and the e-commerce application" proves the hypothesis that the key to successful internet business is to have correctly set the process management of a company, which, through an automated connection, displayed externally for customers through the presentation layer of the e-commerce application. The results are useful for owners of eshops, for their conception of setting up the operations of their companies and especially for the company, where the analysis was performed. According to selected company Penny Ltd., this analysis sets for its eshop Elektro-partner.cz twenty elementary processes, whose implementation will lead to saving staff time, maximum use of the information system including the possibility of implementing new modules, setting up workflow processes and possibility to make a profit and higher customer satisfaction. In the theoretical part are marketing tools 4P for eshops enhanced by services and competitiors. There is also a specially adapted Porter's value chain for eshops and is used a model of e-commerce trust. On this basis it is created the current marketing strategy of eshop including the SWOT analysis and definition of strategic objectives. Identified processes were divided into elementary, key and support groups and relationships between them were made. For the optimization process is used Hammer and Champy methodology and feasibility and success of the thesis is evaluated according to best practises reengineering projects. Reengineered processes are defined with specification, exploited documents, information system and eshop application modules, illustrated by using EPC model and they are defined metrics and specifically listed areas of improvement.
Zabezpečení malých internetových obchodů

The thesis describes selected security issues affecting small business e-commerce sites in the European Union and also shows whether such issues exist in authentic applications currently being used by means of a small scale study. It presents several specifics of e-commerce, a summary of European Union (European Community) law with focus on private data protection and unsolicited mail based on literature search and an overview of minimum security requirements for web-based applications. The research part contains an assessment of parts of a source code, documentation, incident response procedures and installation scripts of seven most popular PHP open-source shopping carts with regard to security derived from criteria and directives defined in the theoretical part. A limited field study of possible effects of security (or of lack thereof) on turnover is conducted and results are available at the end of the thesis.
Sophisticated trading strategies and systems on electronic trading

Work clarifies the issues about trading strategies and systems to the starting traders. Attention is concentrated on trader with a small account. In the theoretical part, reader is introduced to the realities of trading and is briefed by the basics of theoretical knowledge. Using data analysis is made the trading strategy with trading systems. The goal is to try to answer the question whether it is possible to have constant gains in the financial markets using these strategies. The result of this work is a strategy that is made up of three business systems. These mechanical trading systems were programmed in the program Metatrader 4. After the final evaluation of trading systems and the whole strategy, we find that these trading systems (in spite of profitability) do not meet the requirements for trading. The conclusion is based on interview with professional trader, who suggests to the starting traders the way, which would lead to the constant gains using sophisticated trading strategies and systems.
E-commerce and e-business in the European Union

This bachelors thesis describes electronic grocery shopping. The first section briefly describes the history, basic methods of payments and distribution in e-commerce. The following chapters specify distribution processes, electronic order picking models and home delivery methods. The last section characterizes the most significant foreign online grocers and also focuses on czech e-grocery market.
Analysis of B2B demand portals market and perspective of its development

This paper analyzes Czech market of B2B e-marketplaces. First part is focused on mapping of the whole market, its main aim is to find as many of these marketplaces as possible. Every single e-marketplace is tabularly processed with mentioning of the basic data. Second part of the paper compares them on the basis of predefined metrics. This part is full of tables and diagrams for better lucidity of analyzed data. Third part discusses predictions for the future of the whole market. Is it possible, that one strong e-marketplace will emerge and conquer the whole market? What technologies are on the horizon? Are there any threats to this market? These are the questions that this part brings answers to.
Comparing SaaS e-Shops for small and middle business unit

The goal of this bachelor project is to compare offers of a few e-Commerce (e-Shop) solutions which are realized as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service). After this comparison, I will try to chaose the most suitable e-Commerce projects for small and middle business units (SMUs). The project is divided into five sections. The first part starts with a definition and description of the problem. The following two sections include the theoretical aspects of SaaS and e-Commerce. There are defined the basic features and there is also written something about history and technology of these models. The next part deals with mentioned comparison of several e-Shop projects. There are defined the criterias for choosing of the individual providers and the metrics for evaluation. The output from this part is the order of the best e-Shop solutions for the Czech SMUs. The fifth section is aimed at a description of a practical e-Shop implementation. Concretely, the implementation is used for small Czech firm which deals in gardening. There are described the specific requirements of the company and estimated a future impacts on its economy. The conclusion sums up the bachelor project and there is also estimated an evolution of the SaaS model.
C2C Auction Systems in E-Commerce

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku aukčních systémů C2C v elektronickém obchodování. V první části obsahuje teoretický základ aukčních systémů a poskytuje rozdělení typů aukcí dle různých hledisek. Dále se věnuje diagramům algoritmů aukcí. V druhé části identifikuje rizika, a odvozuje z nich problémy elektronických C2C aukcí, které dále řeší. Formuluje základní fáze C2C aukcí včetně v nich obsažených procesů, prezentuje diagram procesů a fází, a určuje kritéria hodnocení aukčních serverů, dle kterých pak uvádí hodnocení reprezentativního výběru aukčních serverů. Práce dále obsahuje průzkum zkušeností uživatelů internetu s aukcemi a závěrem popisuje jednotlivé kategorie služeb souvisejících s aukčními systémy C2C v elektronickém obchodování.
