Application of modern 3D technologies for production of functional components
Jankovič, Tibor ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on a tuba mouthpiece making. The shape and functionality of the mouthpiece was modeled in 3D parametric software Autodesk Inventor. The part was made in the following two ways: Fused Deposition modeling along with use of uPrint printer and by method of silicone mold casting. In the enclosure of this thesis a technically-economical evaluation was performed.
The use of the new technology when creating didactic aids for blinds and purblinds.
Hájíček, Marek ; Kovařovic, Karel (advisor) ; Kramperová, Veronika (referee)
Title: The use of the new technology when creating didactic aids for blinds and purblinds Compiled by: Marek Hájíček Supervisor: PaedDr. Karel Kovařovic Objectives: The aim of the study is to verify perceptibility of tactile 3D model by visually impaired and verify usefulness in swimming lessons for visually impaired Methods: Perceptibility assessment of 3D models based on the personal hisotory and test of basic knowledge of human anatomical topography and gymnastic terminology using special 3D models and painterly human model for the visually impaired probands. Results: Based on the test results and comparison of results between the different categories, I found that the selected size and parameters of special 3D models is sufficient, and that visually impaired people to these haptic devices respond very well. According to the results I can say that skills required for the needs of further research are sufficient. Keywords: Swimming lessons, visually impaired, swimming equipment, 3D printer, 3D model
Virtual prototype of mechatronic system
Dinga, Milan ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with modeling of delta 3D printer virtual prototype and its co-simulation using software ADAMS and MATLAB/SIMULINK. The first part consists of virtual model creation and its kinematic analysis. Then a model of electric motors is created. The final part consists of co-simulation and control design.
CNC router for PCB
Gerják, Rastislav ; Vaculík, Sebastian (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
In mechanical industry, both additive and subtractive manufacturing methods are controlled by instructions in G-code, making it possible to utilize both technologies in one modular device. Main objective is to design, construct, and calibrate multipurpose machine based on RepRap 3D printer, which will be able to use attached spindle to precisely mill light materials. Particular emphasis is given to ability to carve a pattern and drill holes in plated substrate in order to create functional PCB by incision.
3D Printer Control System
Vítek, Radim ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis describes ways to controll 3D printers. Especially controlling stepper motors with their motion profiles. Furthermore discusses about interpolation algorithms. Attention is also paid to the design of the control board for the 3D printer built on kit Nucleo F411. The last part describes implementation of controll firmware.
Experimental 3D printer for the selective laser sintering of polymers
Kroutil, Tomáš ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design and realization of experimental 3D printer for selective laser sintering of plastic powders. The output of the work is a device that can create the main process conditions for laser sintering. A diode laser is used in the device, which allows aluminum composite powders to be processed. The printer allows you to heat up the applied layer of powder and set-up space. The research section focuses on similar equipment, process parameters, laser technology and control system. The design section contains solution variants and a description of the chosen solution.
Effect of air temperature on FDM 3D printing
Hrdlička, Martin ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis deals with 3D printing by the FDM and ambient temperature on print quality. The thesis describes the principle of printing by the FDM method and the occurrence of errors caused by the influence of ambient temperature. The aim of the thesis is to design a heated chamber for RepRap Prusa i3 printer, its construction and subsequent testing of ambient temperature influence on print quality. To test the occurrence of the described errors, specific tests and materials are selected in the work. The result of this work is the recommended ambient temperature in the heated chamber for improved FDM printing.
Application of Modern Technologies in Production of Bathroom Accessories
Kudela, Jan ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and manufacture prototypes of selected bathroom accessories. These were designed via 3D parametric modelling in Autodesk Inventor software. CAD models were then 3D printed at Dimension uPrint printer using today’s most common additive technology – Fused Deposition Modelling. A conventional silicon mold was also created as a part of this thesis using printed prototypes and other set of designed accessories was created by resin casting. The conclusion of this thesis is comparison of printing and casting manufacturing processes of these bathroom accessories from the technological and economical point of view and detailed evaluation of used technologies.
Design for Production of Scanning Product
Baran, Ondrej ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The object of the bachelor thesis was the design, manufacture and construction in progress of a prototype scanning appliance. Each part of appliance was manufactured in 3D modelling environs Autodesk Inventor. For plastic parts construction was used additive technology Fused Deposition Modeling, with a printer uPrint. A part of thesis was teoretical familiarization of knowledge from the appliances and additive technology Rapid Prototyping area. A part of experimentation was consecutive solving mechanical design, modelling, manufacturing and construction issues. The ending of the thesis was consisted of discussion.
Desing and Production of Plastic Adapter to Floor Nozzle
Černý, Martin ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with the design and manufacture of prototypes of plastic reduction to the floor nozzle. Individual shapes and dimensions of the reduction are designed and constructed in 3D parametric software Autodesk Inventor. Models of reduction are produced using an additive method of Fused Deposition Modeling utilizing a 3D printer uPrint. Work is completed techno-economic evaluation with the subsequent analysis and overall evaluation of the applied technology.
