Development of DMS module for digital advertising agency

This work documents the whole process of developing an information system for a small advertising agency. Its main sphere of business is the internet, hence the company is classified as a digital or interactive agency. My objectives are: analyzing business processes, assembling the functional specification and developing the core of the application and the module for a document management. I start with gathering some common parameters of DMS along with requirements for a web application framework, which is intended to use for a base of the intranet. Then I move to presenting specifics of our agency and I analyze its processes in order to capture all content and desired functionality of the developed system. Next phase is dedicated to design. First, I set the intranet in the context of global Enterprise architecture. I continue with modeling all architectural layers (conceptual, technological and implemental). The application is modular and benefits from using MVC architectural pattern. DMS module implements workflow functionality and I have used principles of Workflow Management Coalition to design that features. The last part of my work describes developed modules in more detail. My objectives were accomplished, core of the intranet is developed and currently in process of testing.

Change management of the SW projects in the small and medium business

The bachelor thesis focuses on SW projects, ways of their management and mainly change management in the small and medium business. This thesis is devided into two parts. Author deals with SW projects and most common mistakes during their development in the theory part. The main aim of this part is to refer to these mistakes the reader, who is interested in SW projects. Next, there is a comparision of the two famous methodics, which are well-known in the SW development. These are ITIL and RUP. Author will choose the one, which will be more acceptable for the Cleverdecision. At this time, Cleverdecision has no change management and every change during the SW development is managed by contracting condition. That is why author formulates the ways of change management in the practical part. This will be based on the chosen methodics from the theory part. This formulation is the main aim of this thesis. The contribution of the thesis is in the definition of the change management workflow and in the proposition of the templates for setting the change requests. These templates are sufficient for unification concepts and easier specification of the change requests. Insertion of the change management into the contract is part of the thesis as well.

Circulation of documents

The bachelor thesis describes the circulation of accounting documents in the specific company and shows the various options for solving this process. The main part of the work is analysis of the circulation of invoices from suppliers. It also describes the automation of process using the Workflow module. At the end of the work are presented the advantages of workflow for the company.

Srovnání workflow při práci s rozdílnými typy souborů

Práce se zabývá tvorbou nejlepšího workflow při práci s digitální fotografií a popisuje různá úskalí se kterými se lze během této práce setkat. Dále rozebírá jednotlivé formáty vhodné pro tento účel, jejich vlastnosti a způsob práce s nimi. Jednotlivé části se zabývají formáty, obecným popisem workflow a konkrétními případy jeho použití. Hlavní důraz je kladen na formáty JPEG, RAW, JPEG 2000 a HD Photo.

Podpora týmové práce ve Visual Studiu 2005

Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře se způsoby, jimiž Visual Studio 2005 Team System (VSTS) podporuje týmovou práci při vývoji software. Práce se neomezuje jen na popis faktů, ale snaží se kromě vysvětlení souvislosti mezi jednotlivými prvky tyto prvky prostřednictvím demonstračního projektu použít a zhodnotit. Nejprve se nastiňuje problematika podpory vývojových týmů v kontextu rostoucí náročnosti projektů. Další část se zabývá stručným popisem nových rysů řešení VSTS. Třetí část tyto rysy na demonstračním projektu analyzuje a seznamuje čtenáře s potenciálními problémy, s kterými se při používání VSTS může setkat a způsoby, jak se těmto problémům vyhnout nebo je vyřešit.

Práce se zabývá systémy pro správu dokumentů, popisem jednotlivých komponent, z kterých se skládají a využívanými technologiemi. Vysvětluje základní problémy spojené se správou dokumentů a ilustruje jejich vývoj ? přechod od správy dokumentů ke správě obsahu. Snaží se také napovědět podle čeho se rozhodovat při výběru systému. Obsahuje aktuální přehled nabízených ECM, DMS a CMS řešení dostupných na českém trhu.
