Computer Remote Control Using Cell Phone
Řeháček, Prokop ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of remote control application using Bluetooth wireless technology. The work introduces a modern Android operating system and software development for this system. Application of remote control consists of parts: client for Android OS and server for GNU/Linux. The client was implemented in Java and the server has been created using the Qt toolkit and C++. Software development is divided into parts: design, implementation and testing. The result of this thesis is software that can control multimedia programs for audio and video files.
Computer Remote Control Using Cell Phone
Kolařík, Jan ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
The result of my work is an appilcation, which enables to control videos and music by a cell phone, which has an operating system Android 2.1. The application is divided into two parts, the server, which runs on PC, and the client, which runs on the cell phone. For description of managing the applications is used JavaScript.
Universal rotator for ornithological observing
Tesař, Jan ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Růžek, Václav (advisor)
Thesis deals with design of device for ornithological observing. Device operates tilting, turning and playback voice of animal and is handled via wireless modules. Voltage supply is from battery. Weight of animal doesn't exceed 2 kg.
Electronic Remote Household Control
Altrichter, Jan ; Stružka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kubát, David (advisor)
The thesis describes the creation of an electronic remote household control system and intelligent household. It focuses on security of the guarded object and simple remote control of connected devices. Devices are connected to FITkit which is used as the central control unit; an Ethernet module is used for communication. The created system is developed for Microsoft Windows operating system. One part of the thesis is created by the physical model of the system.
Jabber Bot Remoted by REST API
Stískala, Viktor ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Milička, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the implementation and use of Jabber bot controlled via REST API. The application is designed to meet the minimal demands on system resources, extensibility and scalability thus providing the ability to accept connections from an unlimited number of users. The work also contains a brief characterization of XMPP protocol, which is the cornerstone of the entire application. In subsequent chapters is described the implementation of a web application demonstrating the bot behavior and also the possibility of further extensions.
PC Controlled RC Car
Drdla, Jiří ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Fučík, Otto (advisor)
This work deals with the design of remote-controlled model cars, controlled by a computer. Describes how to design and construct a physical model of the car, design and implementation of an application for the Android mobile operating system and control software for a personal computer. Described principles of model controlling and video transfer, are generally applicable to other projects of similar focus.
Design and Construction of a Hexapod Robot
Žák, Marek ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kubát, David (advisor)
This paper describes design, analysis and implementation of the six-legged walking robot - hexapod. The design and implementation of mechanical engineering, electronic and power management and walking algorithms are described in the thesis. The project is also a guide to the construction of a robot, which may be used for experiments with walking algorithms.
Demonstration Kit for Keeloq Technology
Fujdiak, Radek ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design and create of simulation environment for KeeLoq security technology in both the hardware and software point of view. In this thesis, there are mentioned actual security methods and a method of Rolling code, specifically KeeLoq technology, is desired.
Automatic User Interface Design for Remote Access
Koriťák, Jan ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis explores the possibilities of abstraction of graphical user interface and automation of its design and development process at runtime. Emphasis is placed on possibility of remote control over computer network and accordingly on delegation of the interface creation on the human operated remote machine. The thesis analyzes contemporary approaches to and methods of interface generation. As a goal of the thesis a system for automatic user interface generation for remote applications was designed and implemented. The generation is based on specified data model.
Home Multimedia Centre
Burkert, Michal ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Sumec, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation application, that should be equivalent to several eletronic devices such as DVD player or videotape recorder. Computer used for this purpose is often branded as Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC). This thesis studies available multimedia libraries and software in operating system Linux, that is used to create designed application. It shows some similar existing application to create HTPC either commercial or opensource.
