Analysis of educational activities of the European union in the field of health services with the emphasis on the education of nurses

The work deals with European politics in the frame of healthcare, namely with the historical evolution, legal basics and the main orientations and targets. The nub of this work is the education of general nurses in the European Union and mainly in the Czech Republic. Historical basics, present-day quality and future of nursing-care are also included in the education.

Vortex shedding from a bluff body is a classical problem for fluid mechanics. Since the time of Prof. Strouhal at the end of the 19th century, the phenomenon has been frequently studied. This contribution introduces (1) the historical context, (2) motivations and goals of the recent investigations, and (3) recent original results of research on the fluid dynamics and heat transfer of heated and cooled cylinders in the cross-flow, obtained mainly in the Institute of Thermomechanics.

Characteristics of an outdoor pavement mortar from the Karlštejn Castle and of its replacement by lime mortar with fibres

The report presents results of a complex survey and research of the state and characteristics of a historic outdoor pavement mortar from the fortification wall of the Karlštejn Castle. The results are compared to the characteristics of newly designed lime mortars with fibres.

Consumer Credit in the Czech Republic from the Client’s Perspective

The aim of the thesis titled Consumer Credit in the Czech Republic from the Client´s Perspective is the analysis of the offer of consumer credit loans in the Czech market and an explanation of the basic problems of consumer credit. The first part explains basic information and theoretical concepts related to the issue. In the second part of the thesis, these concepts are put into practice and two model examples are used to explain the procedure for selecting a credit product that will meet the consumer´s needs. The section deals with the comparison of these products. Credit loans are subjected to the comparison in terms of total costs and sub-parameters of the loans, which affect the costs. Following the results of the comparison, the conclusion contains practical recommendations for consumers. The thesis results in a comprehensive educational text that will help anyone interested in consumer financial products to make their choice.

The impact of projects financed from the European Union on the quality of NGO activities for children and youth

CONSULTANT: Mgr.Karolína Pávková ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with the implementation of projects financed by the European Social Fund. Through qualitative research it explores the impact of these projects on the quality of NGO activities for children and youth. Through expert survey it presents the issue from the perspective of three experts. The case studies presenta a description of five NGOs from Prague and the regions of the ČR, who implemented projects aimed at children and youth with the assistance of the ESF. The analysis of information obtained from experts and the NGOs gives an opportunity to say a few major phenomena associated with projects. The main positive effect is the possibility to pursue a wide range of activities for children and youth. The problem occurs after completion of the project and the end EU subsidies. It will be difficult to ensure the sustainability of activities for children and young people throughout their range. Origin and Evolution of the Head Nurse Position

The theme of the bachelor thesis "Origin and Evolution of the Head Nurse Position" is a more detailed description of the origin and development of the head nurse from the beginning of the position until present time. An integral part of the work is the beginnings of nursing in the monasteries that are related to origins of the position. Historical development is divided from the beginning of the 19th century until World War II, then through the development of post war years until today, when the view of the head nurse role is mainly in the mid-level manager. The head nurse leads the clinic or department and is responsible for planning and professional growth of staff and evaluation of quality of care. It cannot be omitted the education of head nurses, which was influenced by the Act No. 20/1966 Coll., on the obligation of health professionals to continual education. Education is divided into undergraduate and postgraduate. In the practical part, there are discussed in more detail the main goals of the thesis, that is the analysis of the work of head nurse and education of the head staff since the beginning of the 20th century, by one of the methods of qualitative analysis in the form of analysis of written documents. Leisure time of children and family surrounding.

Bachelor thesis on "Activities for children and family environment" is focused on the issues of free time for children, especially for its use from the perspective of children themselves, as well as their parents. The theoretical part deals with a functionality of free time processed form of questions relating to education which in this area blends together with a family atmosphere. Analysing how parents can intervene positively and negatively to the use of leisure time of their children. Further work their way the function of the family and also the function of family environment on development of children especially their interests and abilities. I focus on leisure activity outside of the classroom and on the distribution of teachers who go in for of this free time. . An integral part of the thesis is the result of the negative impact on children in their free time, describing the consequences that may arise and we should try to avoid them. The practical part contains a survey: analysis of the views of parents whose professional focus is not pedagogical direction, parents with at least one of them is a teacher and an analysis of the answers of the children themselves. The research goal of my work is to analyse the general view of children's free time. How children use leisure time as guidance from parents, to what extent their leisure time is influenced by different factors and how far their ideas, wishes are taken into account.

Content Marketing for Lead Generation in B2B Educational and Consulting Services

The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the issue of content marketing for generating leads and information about potential customers, then to analyze and offer some recommendations for its further use among B2B suppliers of educational and consulting services. The theoretical part discusses three key topics: the specifics of the services and B2B sector; content marketing and the reasons for its inclusion in marketing strategy; and the issue of lead generation as a possible metric of content marketing and sales tool. The practical part of the thesis approaches this topic from the perspective of four representatives of service suppliers, complemented by a point of view of the mediate company IVITERA. This company brings together one of the largest B2B communities in the services sector on the Czech market within its (especially online) media projects. Research was conducted through individual interviews with representatives of all five companies and by an analysis of secondary data, leads and keywords provided by the mediate company.

Evaluation of nursery schools - two-class nursery school from the perspective of parents

The final thesis deals with the evaluation of nursery schools. The goal of the thesis is the analysis of the current state of several small selected two-classed nursery schools in Prague and to find out what these schools are strong at and what could be improved. The starting point of theoretical part of the bacherol thesis is the available literature on the topic of evaluations as well as literature on nursery schools and their history, conditions of pre-school education, the school culture, the school climate and their effects on parents. The research part is based on the empirical survey carried on the basis of questionnaires for parents whose children attend two-classed nursery schools in Prague. It checks the assertions based on the author's experience. It brings some food for thought about the fact what nursery schools are good at and what can be improved in the future.
