Tato práce se zabývá evropskou politikou v oblasti zdravotnictví, a to historickým vývojem, právními základy a hlavními směry a cíly. Jádrem této práce je vzdělávání všeobecných zdravotních sester v Evropské unii a hlavně v České republice. Mezi vzdělávání jsou zahrnuty i historické základy, současná kvalita a perspektiva ošetřovatelské péče. The work deals with European politics in the frame of healthcare, namely with the historical evolution, legal basics and the main orientations and targets. The nub of this work is the education of general nurses in the European Union and mainly in the Czech Republic. Historical basics, present-day quality and future of nursing-care are also included in the education.
