Musical Fairytale Lotrando and Zubejda in Music education

The thesis The musical fairy tale Lotrando and Zubejda in music education presents the mentioned musical fairy tale and its use in music education. The theoretical part of the thesis briefly points out the origin and genesis of the fairy tales. It deals more closely with the definition of the fairy tale as a literary and musical-dramatic genre and outlines the influence of this phenomenon on the psychological development of the child. In this context, the thesis focuses on the period of younger school age, which it characterizes not only in terms of social and emotional development, but above all in terms of musical development. In the practical part of the thesis, examples of activities for music education lessons are given, which are inspired by the film musical fairy tale Lotrando and Zubejda. These activities were carried out with pupils of the 3rd year of the T. G. Masaryk Primary School in Milevsko and recorded in the form of preparations for the lesson. The practical part resulted in model examples and several methodological sheets that can serve as inspiration for working with the musical fairy tale in the educational process. Supporting the development of communication skills of primary school pupils with developmental dysphasia

This thesis focuses on supporting the development of communication skills in pupils with developmental dysphasia at primary school level 1. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of developmental dysphasia, its symptoms, diagnosis and possibilities of intervention. The aim of the research was to observe the individual progress of three boys with dysphasia in the areas of coherently spoken text, involvement in collective activities, emotional expression, fine and gross motor skills, concentration, memory and the ability to discriminate auditory and visual stimuli. The research was conducted using qualitative case studies, document analysis, teacher interviews and observations of pupils in real school settings. The results suggest that individual work and a differentiated approach to teaching can positively influence the development of communication skills in pupils with dysphasia. The knowledge gained is relevant for teachers and experts in the field of special education when working with pupils with communication disorders and when creating an inclusive environment in schools. Development of reading and writing skills of 1st grade pupils: action research

The diploma thesis focuses on the development of reading and writing skills among primary school students. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the specifics of reading and writing literacy and the possibilities for developing these literacies. Part of the development of these literacies involves the development of individual skills related to reading and writing. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to describe the relationship between the development of reading and writing skills among selected six students from the fifth grade of elementary school. To conduct the research, six reading lessons were designed and implemented during Czech language and literature classes (Muddled Kingdom, Neverending Story, Limericks, Strado and Varius, Wind Mailman, Unfinished Fairy Tales). In these six reading lessons, reading and writing skills were deliberately interconnected and developed. Each of the six implemented reading lessons had a writing output. Through the research methods used (content analysis of student products, observation, unstructured interview), I found that the development of reading and writing skills is closely related. 1st grade reading workshop: action research

This thesis stems from the necessity to guide and support students in reading from the beginning of compulsory school attendance. The theoretical part deals with the concept of reading, the development of reading literacy, and further describes methods and possibilities for further support and development of reading. An integral part for the development of reading literacy are libraries, which are also mentioned in the work. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on various options and perspectives on the reading workshop. The goal of the action research is to describe, through observation, how it is possible to firmly integrate the reading workshop into the schedule from the 1st grade of primary school based on personal experience and to suggest how further methods can support reading among 1st and 2nd grade students even more. Using findings from a completed parents' questionnaire, the empirical part responds to the research questions. The research showed that thanks to the early inclusion of the reading workshop, students were able to concentrate on the given reading and smoothly continue with the already mastered organization of the reading workshop within the 1st grade. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of safety and health protection of 1st, 3rd and 5th year pupils. Its goal is to find out to what extent children are able to correctly identify risky situations and whether the competencies listed in the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education meet the criteria for the safety and health protection of children of younger school age. The text and content of the thesis are divided into two main parts. The theoretical part provides an insight into the issues of safety and health protection. It explains and describes the basic theoretical framework for addressing the research problem, interprets the perspective of the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education in safety and health protection, and examines the content, methods, and forms through which this issue is conveyed to children in education. After School Art Programme at the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region

The diploma thesis deals with informal leisure education in the gallery institution of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in Kutná Hora. The theoretical part introduces concepts related to education in cultural institutions. It moves from the definition of museums and galleries to the definition of education and other concepts related to the issue of non-unified terminology. It looks at the use of several terms with the same meaning, such as education and animation, and their use in the literature. It then describes the life and work of the artists Jitka and Květa Válová, whose life's work was presented by the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region in the exhibition Jitka and Květa Válovy: A Path Destined by Fate. The artists and the exhibition are connected to an educational programme that was created during six months of work with children of younger school age in an afternoon leisure activity called Ne/kroužek. Ne/kroužek is patronised by The Learning Centre of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region. The relationship between basic motor coordination and motor skills in primary school children

Title: The relationship between basic motor coordination and fundamental movement skills in primary school children Author: Dominik Chládek Supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Ph.D. Objectives: To investigace the level of motor coordination and basic motor skills in children of younger school age. At the same time, the aim is to find out the possible relationship between the level of motor coordination and fundamental movement skills. Methods: The test population included 106 pupils from grades 3 to 5, aged 10 to 11 of primary school. The TGMD-2 test battery was used to assess their motor skills level, while the KTK test battery was used to assess motor coordination. Results: The results of this research show below average to very poor performance on the TGMD-2 test in 96 (90.5 %) of the 106 probands. In the KTK test, 44 (41.5 %) children rating normal and 45 (42.5 %) probands rating good according to the motor quotient. Furthermore, there was a strong correlation between TGMD-2 and KTK tests and non-significant differences between boys and girls. The theme of the Holocaust conveyed to pupils of younger school age at primary school level through work with a book

The aim of this thesis is to analyse appropriate literature containing the topic of the Holocaust and to sensitively convey the topic to pupils of younger school age. The topic of the Holocaust is very challenging and requires a special approach, especially when dealing with younger pupils. Therefore, the first chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of the younger school-age child, his cognitive, emotional and value development. Next, the theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of literature for children and young people, its functions and typical genres. It also gets to the definition of the theme of the Holocaust in the Framework Curriculum for Primary Education and discusses the theme of the Holocaust in literature for children and youth. The final chapter of the theoretical part first defines reading literacy and its development. In the context of literacy development, the chapter characterizes the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking program and describes selected methods of this program that will be used later in the research part of the thesis. Evaluation of teaching Health and Physical Education at primary and secondary schools: Analysis of existing research

Title: Evaluation of teaching Health and Physical Education at primary and secondary schools: Analysis of existing research Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to analyse and evaluate contemporary state of teaching Health and Physical Education at schools in the Czech Republic with using existing research studies. Methods: In this theses methods of comparative analysiswere used in order to evaluate existing bachelor and diploma theses focused on health and physical education. The data were drawn from Google Scholar database, the digital database of Charles University, theses.cz and from the ResearchGate. Furthermore, data from questionaires carried out among teachers in 2005 were included. Results: The results say, that Health and Physical education is not taught at 194 schools from the whole of 226 researched schools. The most common health issue mentioned by 104 schools being the weakenning of moving apparatus. The main obstacles for inclusion of PE into school curriculum mentioned insufficiant finances and lack of professional teaching staff. Such issues are mentioned by 64 schools.
