Title: Utilization and preferences of smartwatches and their features for measuring health parameters in the adult population Objectives: The aim of this master's thesis is to analyze the utilization and preferences of smartwatches in the adult population and to examine their potential for measuring health parameters through a questionnaire survey. Methods: The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. A questionnaire of our own design was utilized. Results: The average age of the respondents who filled out the questionnaire for this diploma thesis was 31.2 years. 63 out of 103 probands use smartwatches to monitor their health status, with the most frequently measured parameter being heart rate. All 63 respondents follow here. The most used function associated with physical activity is tracking the number of steps. 91 respondents are interested in this data. Factors such as quality, accuracy, and design play a key role when choosing a smartwatch. According to the respondents, the most used smartwatches are from Apple and Garmin. Apple Watch is used by 42% of probands and the Garmin brand by 26% of probands. Respondents often prefer the Apple brand for its compatibility with other devices, and Garmin for its high accuracy. Smartwatches also provide motivation for users to engage in...
Female Suicide Terrorism
Kubínová, Tereza ; Makariusová, Radana (advisor) ; Kotvalová, Anna (referee)
This master theses focuses on the analysis of women's participation in suicide terrorism within two terrorist groups, the Tamil Tigers (LTTE) and the Black Widows. The aim is to examine the motivations, strategies and social consequences of women's involvement in these organizations. Comparative analysis shows that while motivations for the two groups often overlap in aspects of nationalism and resistance to oppression, there are also significant differences, with women in the LTTE emphasizing a desire for gender equality. Women in both groups were motivated by a combination of political, social and religious factors. The tactics for carrying out suicide attacks differed, with both groups using gender stereotypes to successfully carry out attacks. Women's participation in terrorism had significant social consequences, reflected in the transformation of gender roles and perceptions of women in society. These findings underscore the importance of incorporating gender considerations into terrorism analysis and highlight the need for a comprehensive approach to this issue.

Jelínek, Martin ; Pravečková, Petra (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Internal motivation of football players in the older preparatory category in comparison with selected football skills Aims: The main aim of the thesis was to investigate the association between the level of internal motivation and the level of soccer skills in the senior pre-school category, specifically in the senior pre-school age category, which is specified for the U10 and U11 categories in soccer. Another aim was to compare football skills between these categories. Furthermore, we examined the relationship between whether players have experience in other sports and football testing results. Other objectives were to introduce concepts such as motivation, soccer, individual game activities, younger school age or characteristics of a selected age category of older prep school players. Methods: To evaluate the internal motivation of tested players we used a standardized Sport motivation scale questionnaire from which we selected only questions related to internal motivation. To test the selected football skills, we constructed a test battery that included three different tests. Specifically, a test focusing on ball management, a test focusing on passing accuracy, and a final test that focused on shooting accuracy. Results: no significant statistical relationship was found between the level...

Title: Children's motivation in tennis in older school age Objectives: The aim of my diploma thesis was to find out the motivation of tennis players in the age category 11 to 15 years in tennis club TK Písek. Using the standardized questionnaire I focused on motivation, what type of motivation dominate, why children devote to this sport, what is the aspiration of children. I focused to find out if there are any reasons for children to stop playing tennis. I also tried to compare how the level of motivation and aspiration of children has changed compared to the research that took place in 2019 among children of younger school age. Methods: The research was conducted using a quantitative method using the Czech version of the international standardized questionnaire The Sport Motivation Scale "SMS- 28". The questionnaire was supplemented with 3 additional open questions. Results: The research has showed that the intrinsic motivation prevails over external motivation among children of older school age in tennis club TK Písek. The research also shows that children are most motivated by intrinsic motivation to experience and intrinsic motivation to accomplish something. The higher value of amotivation among children in the age category 13-15 years requires increased attention. We found that the main...

This thesis HR Marketing in the Non-profit Sector - A Case Study of Med Students FOR Vaccination focuses on HR marketing in the non-profit sector, within the specific non-profit organisation Medici PRO Očkování (Med Students FOR Vaccination). Its aim is to find out how internal and external HR marketing of Med Students FOR Vaccination was perceived from the perspective of its former members and thus, through a combination of theoretical framework and practical research, to offer concrete recommendations for improving current practices and strategies and a comprehensive view of how HR marketing in the non-profit sector can help. The theoretical part of the thesis describes non-profit organisations, volunteering, volunteers and their motivations, and HR marketing, its divisions and its possible tools. In the practical part of the research a qualitative method of semi-structured in-depth interviews is used for data collection. Open coding is then used to analyse the data. The research results indicate that the areas of recruitment and orientation and care and support of volunteers are the least positively evaluated by respondents in the HR marketing of the organisation. The other areas are viewed largely positively by respondents, yet they mentioned some requirements and needs for improvement, based...
