The house is based on concrete foundation strips. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from ceramic blocks with thermal insulation. Horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete slabs. The building is heated by the air-water heat pump. The main heating system is a floor heating system combined with radiators and towel radiators. The utility room is designed with mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery unit. Exhaust and intake are located on the north facade. Fresh air is supplied in living rooms and exhaust air suction in the garage, bathrooms, and walk-in closet. The building is connected to the water mains and the combined sewer. In the heat pump is installed a hot water cylinder. Stormwater accumulated in the tank then used for toilet flushing and watering the garden.
Small apartment building
Kalčík, Aleš ; Bečkovský, David (referee) ; Vystrčil, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the preparation of construction documentation for a small apartment building. The building is located on an almost perfectly flat area near the Morava River in Napajedla. The structure of the building consists of four above-ground floors and one underground floor, which is completely hidden below the terrain. The underground floor contains a technical room and communal garages. The above-ground floors contain a total of 12 apartment units and accessory spaces for these apartments. The estimated number of residents of the building is 34. None of the apartment units are designed to be barrier-free. However, access to the building is barrier-free, and the parking spaces include designated spots for the handicapped. The substructure is founded on piles, followed by monolithic reinforced concrete structures. These reinforced concrete structures transition to traditional masonry construction in the first above-ground floor, using a combination of ceramic blocks and monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling structures. The roof of the building is intended to be a flat green roof with extensive vegetation.
Apartment building

Family house with cinema room
Kurka, Štěpán ; Pobucká, Slávka (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
As part of the bachelor's thesis, project documentation was developed at the construction implementation level within the partially required scope. The documentation includes a project for a family house located in the northern part of the village of Kobeřice in Silesia. The new building is integrated into an already developed area of the village and is set into the terrain, taking advantage of the sloping land for the operational solution. The building is designed as a single dwelling unit for permanent residence by five people, with technical facilities and garage space. Access to the dwelling unit is provided from the west side to the first above-ground floor. From a material perspective, the building is designed using predominantly ceramic blocks for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing vertical structures. The building envelope is insulated with an ETICS system to reduce energy consumption. The construction is based on monolithic foundation strips with a base concrete slab. The ceiling structures in the building are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building is roofed with two flat single-layer roofs at different height levels. The roof at the lower level is designed with a vegetative surface finish.
