Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification
Weissová, Ľuboslava ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the information system used by an unnamed state institution for the collection of data from obliged subjects. Within the thesis, the basic theoretical concepts are described, followed by an analytical part, where the state of the institution and the information system is assessed through appropriate analyses. The last part of the thesis is based on the results of the analyses and deals with suggestions for changes that would improve the current state of the information system and increase its efficiency.
Upgrading the Subsystem for Testing of the Safety Function of a Valve
Němec, Petr ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this work is to develop a theoretical basis for the modernization of the subsystem for testing the valve function, the subsequent design and implementation of the visualization. The thesis briefly describes the steam turbine circulation and bypass technology. Thus, the technology of the system in which the safety function itself is located. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the functional safety analysis and describes the development of three analysis methods FTA, HAZOP and FMEA. The thesis also deals with the analysis and description of an existing application using a state diagram. From the subsequent analysis, the design of a new visualization is realized. The visualization is tested in the thesis using simulation which is performed on a real PLC and also using PLCSIM software.
The Use of Metohods of the Project Management in IT Projects
Zelníková, Barbora ; Martina Majerčíková, MSc., MBA (referee) ; Širáňová, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the use of project management tools in a project to migrate the PhD students' agenda from Apollo to a web interface and its subsequent development. It is structured in three parts. The first part deals with the theoretical background, where the methods and tools used are explained. The second part assesses the current state of the art and the technologies used. The last part presents a project plan applying the methods and tools mentioned in the theoretical background.
Implementation of the information system
Mydlová, Nicolette ; Koch, Miloš (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the selection and implementation of an information system for a company with a business intention to provide accounting, tax and payroll services. The first step is the processing of the theoretical part, which will serve as a basis for the other two main parts of the work. After defining the theoretical starting points, an analytical part will be developed, with the help of which the selection of a new information system and its implementation will be able to take place.
Program for calculating the resistance of earthing systems
Gura, Roman ; Topolánek, David (referee) ; Vyčítal, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of grounding systems, which are essential for the safety and reliability of electrical installations. The aim of this thesis is to develop a software tool for calculating the parameters of grounding systems based on their geometric dimensions, in accordance with corporations’ norms. Resulting program automates the calculations using an intuitive graphic interface including the display of the system.
ICT Selection
Hric, Radek ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the selection of a suitable information system and the implementation procedure for the selected company. The first part will contain the theoretical background. Next, the current state of the company will be analyzed, including its needs and requirements for an information system. The subsequent part will include the design of a suitable information system for the company. After that, the method of implementation of the solution will be described. In the last part, an evaluation will be made from an economic point of view.
Paint shop Process Improvement through Predictive Simulation
Machačová, Simona ; Hromková, Ivana (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the use of simulation to optimise processes in a paint shop. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the existing production processes and suggest improvements using simulation. In the analytical part of the thesis, the processes in the paint shop are described in detail and Petri nets are used to describe the logic of the processes in the paint shop. In the design part of the thesis, the problem and objectives are formulated, and the design of the simulation model is presented. The design describes the elements and methods used in the Plant Simulation software in which the model is created. Furthermore, different scenarios are simulated to optimize the painting process and the deposition areas. The simulation results are compared with the actual state of the paint shop. Finally, the results are discussed and recommendations are proposed to optimize the paint shop processes using simulation. This work presents new approaches to process optimization in industrial manufacturing.
Process automation in document management
Maco, Martin ; Moudrá, Libuše (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
The diploma´s thesis focuses on implementation of system for documents management in the selected company. The first part of thesis covers theoretical backgrounds. Second part includes company´s analysis. The last part contains solution by RPA tools and economic evaluation.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.
IoT Application Deployment Platform
Hrvol, Marek ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this work is simplifying deployment of Internet of Things in households or smaller companies and also reducing the need of maintenance of created network.  Main goal of this web application is creating platform capable of deploying applications across ARM single-board computers. Moreover, application provides intuitive preview of all registered devices including its state, shows all the necessary data and informs user about failures on devices.
