Name: Characteristics of the Attacking Team's Play in the Final Third at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar Objectives: Analysis of Attacking Phase Solutions in the Final Third of the Field for Selected Teams at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar Methods: The research focused on categories for solving attacking plays in the final third of the field: playing system, number of passes before finishing, duration of the play until finishing, attack direction, number of attackers and defenders in the situation immediately before finishing, playing position of the finishing player, and the solution of the final phase of the play. The analyzed dataset comprised 12 matches from the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This included the regular playing time in the round of 16 and quarter-final matches. Results: The playing system for build-up attacks was used in 174 instances. The number of passes before finishing was up to 5 in 170 cases. Attacking players were outnumbered in 133 actions and had an even number of players in 75 actions. The duration of the actions was only up to 10 seconds in 155 cases. Author: Karel Kusák Title: Multi-athletics competitions at modern Olympic Games and international events Objectives: Purpose of the bachelor thesis is to describe the history of athletic multi events at the Olympic Games, World Championships and other international events. Furthermore, also to show and describe the development of performances at the mentioned events. Methods: The method of analysis is used in this thesis. The results of athletic multi events at international events from 1912 to 2023 are analyzed. The development of the world record and individual results of selected male and female athletes is also studied in this period. Results: Through this thesis, I have mapped the development of athletic multi events, including its scoring tables, based on the study of selected sources. Using graphs, I have also illustrated the performances of the top three male and female competitors in the selected events. Media coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in ČT sport

This bachelor thesis deals with one of the most important global sporting events. Specifically, it examines the media coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar in ČT Sport. Using two sub-quantitative content analyses, the aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine what space was devoted to the 2022 FIFA World Cup on the ČT sport channel between 14 November 2022 and December 2022 (the week before the start of the championship and the week after the end of the championship), whether the 46 pre-match studios on ČT sport, which cover the televised matches of the World Cup in Qatar, give more space to the favourite teams or whether all teams are given similar space, and whether the controversial background of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is highlighted in the pre-match studios of ČT sport and, if so, in what context. The results of the analysis of the ČT sport programme showed that out of the 1 136 televised TV programmes in the defined period, 395 programmes were devoted to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This shows that exactly 30 % of the programmes, which were broadcast during the specified period, focused directly on the events of the Qatar championship. Prostorová analýza účastníků světových šampionátů mužů ve vybraných kolektivních sportech

The bachelor thesis is focused on the spatial analysis of participants in the World Men´s Championships in selected team sports, specifically basketball, soccer, cricket and field hockey. The aim of the work is the spatial analysis of all participants in all World Championships in the already mentioned sports. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part is focused mainly on cultural geography and the geography of sport, but also contains a brief overview of each World cup. For the analytic part, data on participants from official websites of international federations or associations are used. These data are the used in map works and comparisons. The results of the bachelor's thesis brought, among other things, the finding that basketball and football are sports in which a larger number of states compete and their focus is mainly in Europe, but also in the rest of the world, these sports are fairly evenly distributed. While cricket and field hockey are concentrated primarily in South Asia and Australia, this is especially true for cricket. There are also several countries from Europe at the top level in field hockey, but the countries of South Asia and Australia predominate.

Analysis of the Age Structure of the Volleyball Team at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships in years 1970 - 2016

The diploma thesis aim was to determine the age of top performance age of the three most successful volleyball teams in men and women category. The study was focused on world events such as Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships. The thesis was concentrated on years 1970 to 2016. The theoretical part summarizes facts about volleyball and specific features of volleyball players. It also includes analysis of each volleyball matches during determined era. The synthetic part was written based on record sheets analysis. In total we analysed 3136 players - 1618 men and 1518 women. The age of the men top performance was 26,4 ? 3,7 years and in women category was 24,6 ? 3,7 years. The highest average of age is evident in group of players who started on Olympic games from 1972 until 2016. Average age of male players was 27,4 ? 4 years and average age of female players was 25,3 ? 3,7 years. At the World Championships from 1970 until 2014 was average age of male players 26,3 ? 3,6 years and female players 24,6 ? 3,4 years. The lowest average age is evident in groups of men and women players who played on European Championships from 1971 until 2015. Male players from European Champioships were average 25,9 ? 3,5 years old and female players were 24,2 ? 3,7 years old.

Achievements of our swimmers during the World competitions between 1950 and 2012

Name: Achievements of our swimmers on the World competitions since 1950 to nowadays. Goal: The goal of my work will be to gather significant results and success of Czech swimmers on the competitions of World, European and Olympics class and to judge a development of success of our swimmers through the time. On the significant performance of swimmers try to show capability of our swimmers to achieve the best results on competitions. Methods: In this thesis is used basic research of data which is important for main part of thesis. Results are stated on bases of strict standarts and they are choosing just from mentioned competitions. Than we use a comparison of data and then we use some basic maths operations to show results. Results: From the choose sources we found data and create a list of presences our swimmers on competitions of MS, ME, OH. Our results show a final position of swimmer in a competition, his time, Fina points and percentage value of his performance to his Pb. Results showing us that counts of our competitors is growing by the time 1950 - 2012. And on a last place we shortly show how swimmers were capable to focus their best physical conditions to the most important competitions. Effect of cycling on the overall performance in triathlon

Title: Effect of cycling on the overall performance in triathlon Objectives: The aim is to determine the influence of the cycling part on the total performance in the individual disciplines of triathlon. Methods: I used a linear regression for the determination of influence of cycling part on the total performance. The investigated values were compared in a column graph. Results: The dependence, rated by coefficient of determination by disciplines with allowed ride in the lee was "low" (R2 =0,069; R2 =0,01). The influence of the cycling section on the total result in triathlon was higher by disciplines without the chance of the lee than by disciplines with allowed ride in the lee. The influence by disciplines with allowed ride in lee was less than 10%, and it was 36 % by discipline with banned ride in the lee. The cycling section of a long triathlon didn't influence the total result more than the running part of a long distance triathlon. The influence of the running part was 7% higher. The cycling part affected the total result in an off-road triathlon a lot. The value 81 % means a big influence of the cycling section on the total result in an off-road triathlon.
