This thesis focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of education. It explores the historical development, theoretical principles, and practical applications of AI in education. The thesis also examines the advantages and challenges associated with implementing AI in educational environments, including ethical considerations, privacy concerns, and credibility. By analyzing real-life examples this study offers valuable insights into how AI can impact personalized learning, student performance evaluation, and administrative efficiency in schools. The practical part is concerned with the role of AI in school settings and its effect on education by conducting a survey. The survey showed that students are more positive and frequent users of AI than teachers, who tend to be more skeptical. Despite this, both groups show support for integrating AI into education.

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of innovations in road, rail, and air transport. These common transport methods, crucial for both passengers and freight, are expected to see further technological development. The aim of this thesis is to study the historical development in the different sectors and then discuss current topics regarding the implementation of AI and the handling of environmental issues. Every mode of transportation contributes to the complexity of the broader transportation scene by providing a different set of advantages and difficulties. The operation of our increasingly interconnected world is facilitated by each of these means of transport, forming a dynamic and interconnected system. Practical part of the thesis also examines in more detail the development of some of the key components of transport. These are in this case signals and signal repeaters. Both of these devices represent an integral part of rail transport. These developments are the subject of this work, which aims to explore the benefits of each generation's innovations and the issues associated with putting them into service.
Self-directed learning as an essential part of professional development of a language-oriented professional

This bachelor’s thesis explores the concept of self-directed learning and its crucial components. The initial chapters start with a few historical milestones and then discuss significant theories that shaped the concept of self-learning. Afterwards, the importance of self-evaluation for skill development is explained, followed by the great influence that teachers have on self-education, with a focus on a theoretical model of SSDL. Motivation, a key element for effective learning, is described with an emphasis on self-determination theory, distinguishing between theories’ two types of motivation, leading to the final subchapter that focuses on different factors that influence motivation. The aspects examined in this thesis might broaden awareness of this important concept and the significance of its widespread application.

The second part of the thesis is focused on the impact those techniques have. The thesis deals not only with the impact on the production but also on the reception of the film.

This bachelor thesis is focused on examination of translation tools and translation of the professional texts. The work is divided into four main parts. The first part deals with what is it translation and what is the difference between the old and the modern approach. The second part is focused on various translation tools and their definitions. The third part is dedicated to definition of the professional texts, while depicting its difficulties and its specialities. The fourth part presents practical research in form of questionnaire.

This bachelor thesis deals with issues of teaching technical English at universities. The aim of the thesis is to describe and compare different approaches to the given issue. The introductory chapter focuses on analysis of approaches to the teaching of General English. The following chapter describes English for Specific Purposes, its roots and description, its areas, where this approach is usable, and course design of English for Specific Purposes courses. Subsequently, the thesis discusses with description of English for Academic Purposes and its evaluation, further, suggests possible activities that can be used in teaching of such language.

The purpose of semestral work is to understand what does “E-learning” means and where it comes from, to describe the history of electronic learning and research advantages and disadvantages of this kind of education. And finally get an answer for the question if E-learning is effective activity to learn languages? The work is devided into seven parts: defenitions, forms of e-learning, history of e-learning, advantages/benefits of e-learning, disadvantages of electronic electronic learning, an influence of modern technologies on the teaching process. The bachelor thesis is aimed at analyzing the work of representatives of e-learning. Description of the process of learning a language and the effectiveness of learning English through e-learning. Is it possible to learn a language with the help of electronic media and the Internet? This paper describes the process of learning English with the help of two electronic platforms. The first is a paid online school, the largest company studying English in Eastern Europe. The second part of the work is a free mobile application aimed at developing and learning English. The most popular application in the world in the online training section. information about companies, the history of creation and the principles of work used in the applications are presented in the form of a review of companies. Effectiveness of those companies and e-learning at all.
Smart cities of the 21st century

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the concept of smart cities of 21st century. Its objective is to describe this phenomenon and discuss possibilities of its implementation. It analyses six sections, into which the concept is divided, and describes modern technologies used in smart cities. Furthermore, it discusses the issue of cybersecurity in relation to personal data protection and security of proper city functioning. As examples of smart cities, Prague and London are mentioned, and their smart city strategies along with examples of executed smart projects are analysed. Finally, the evaluation and comparison of both cities' smartness is carried out via two different smart city indexes.
Robots of the present and the future

This semestral thesis is concentrated on the topic of robots of the present and the future. The objective of the thesis is to introduce robots to a reader and theoretically describe the state of robots today and predictions for the future of robotics. At the beginning of the work is a brief description of the history of robots and explains the name they were given. Subsequently, the current state of robotics is described, and the robots are divided into groups that best suit their abilities. Moreover, predictions of the future of robotics are discussed together with the technological singularity. In addition, these discussed predictions show the potential of robotics to become part of the very existence of humans by becoming cyborgs or by digitizing their mind and uploading it to the cloud. In this way, the possibility of immortality or at least prolongation of life is presented. Lastly, there is possibly the first example of a product of the future, which will be mass-produced.
