Small Apartment House

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a four-storey apartment building in Staré Město near Uherské Hradiště. The object is situated in a quiet part of the town and is set in a gently sloping terrain. It is based on strip foundations and has two types of roofing – above the second floor there is a green roof and above the third floor there is a non-walkable warm flat roof. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from permanent formwork in the basement and from the Porotherm system on the above-ground floors. The Etics contact thermal insulation system is incorporated into the external wall. The floor structures, the walls near the lift, and the staircase are from the cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building consists of a basement and four storeys with a total of seven dwelling units. On the ground floor there is a wheelchair accessible flat. The other dwelling units have access to a balcony or terrace. On the ground, first, and second floor there are two flats. On the third floor there is only one flat. The habitable rooms of each flat are situated to the southwest. In the basement there are cellar units for each dwelling unit, a bicycle room, cleaning room, and two utility rooms. From the southwest part of the plot, there are parking places for the residents, bicycle stands, and a place for recycling. A 3D model of the building has been built.
Marketing Plan for MORAVOSTAV Brno, a.s.

The object of this diploma thesis is the composition of marketing plan for company MORAVOSTAV Brno, a.s. The theoretic part presents the basic information from the section of a marketing planning and methods. Next follows the characteristics of the set company and the analysis processing of the company present state. Acquired data are evaluated and applied in the particular concept of marketing plan for the year 2009.
Multifunctional house in Uherské Hradiště

The object of this master’s thesis is a newly-built mixed-use building in the town of Uherské Hradiště. It includes parking and office spaces, retail shops, and a coffee shop. The building is situated in a mildly sloping terrain near the town centre. It is a three-storey detached building with partial basement. The floor plan was created by joining several different-sized rectangles together. The mixed-use building is based on foundation pads and slabs. It is roofed with a warm flat roof and, above the first floor, with a green roof. The building consists of a cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame with columns and beams. The floor structure is composed of prestressed hollow core slabs. The external wall of the above-ground floors is made of hollow clay blocks and the basement external wall is made of permanent formwork. The wall of the lift shaft is built from reinforced concrete and the staircase is composed of precast reinforced concrete slabs. The external walls are insulated with contact thermal insulation system and in some parts there is timber cladding – ventilated façade with thermal insulation from glass wool. The thermal insulation of the basement and of the plinth is made of extruded polystyrene. The object is divided into several functional zones. On the ground floor there is a coffee shop, a copy shop, a stationery shop, and a bakery. On the first and second floors there are office spaces. In the basement there are technical facilities only. The main entrance of the object is from the northwest part of the plot. There the entrance to the car park is also located, situated to the northwest and southwest side of the plot. Bicycle stands and a place for recycling is also located there. Around the object there is a pavement from which there is wheelchair access to all of the functional zones.
Determinants of pro-environmental behavior among students

This thesis deals with determinants of pro-environmental behaviour among students and graduates of Czech universities. According to many scientists from all over the world, humanity must change its behaviour towards the environment otherwise it may face catastrophic consequences of global warming. Unfriendly environmental behaviour is a significant contributor to climate change. On the basis of research on determinants of pro-environmental behaviour, it should be possible to identify which factors positively influence pro-environmental behaviour. Ultimately, it should be possible to establish methods that could encourage environmentally friendly behaviour. The primary aim of this thesis is to identify how selected determinants influence the pro-environmental behaviour of Czech university students and graduates. Based on these findings, recommendations for companies should be formulated in order to increase the pro-environmental behaviour of Czech university students and graduates. The secondary objective of this thesis is to determine whether business CSR activities influence students' job-seeking decisions and to establish recommendations for companies. This thesis first explains the theoretical background of pro-environmental behaviour and its determinants. The findings from this section are then applied in the practical part of this thesis, which involves the evaluation of a questionnaire survey with 232 valid respondents. The aim of this thesis was achieved by examining self-determination theory and social interaction theory concerning pro-environmental behaviour. Recommendations for businesses were developed to increase pro-environmental behaviour of students and graduates. Finally, areas and activities of corporate social responsibility were found, which influence the decision-making of the research subjects in their choice of employer. These results provide the basis for establishing recommendations for companies to increase their attractiveness in the labour market.
Assessment of the readiness of children at compulsory school teaching public and family

The main goal of the thesis was to detect and subsequently present a comprehensive views of educational society and parents for the current issue of school preparedness and its related issues concerning the high number of school attendance delay. To obtain these views was used a method of semi-structured interviews with parents, teachers from preparatory classes and teachers from nursery and primary schools. When analysis of testimony was finished, has been used and also elected procedure confrontation between these dates, then confrontation with professional publications, articles, web discussion forums and also primary data which was find out at conference that was organized on this topic. After the research was found that the issue of school preparedness affects to other issues like: an education and qualification of nursery teachers, the quality of cooperation between school and family, problems of capacity classrooms in nursery and solving number of children and age composition of class, accountability for school readiness child etc. The results of this thesis indicate what opinions have the family and educational public on the current status of the school preparedness disadvantages of children and also parts of school preparedness, in which today's children mainly excel.
