Comparison of Green Façade Systems Based on Experimental Basis Weight Measurements
Vystrčil, Jan ; Chomová, Štěpánka ; Nespěšný, Ondřej ; Šuhajda, Karel ; Bečkovský, David
Green facade systems are gaining attention due to their potential for the urban environment, building aesthetics, and energy efficiency. This study compares different green facade systems and their surface weight, which is one of the critical parameters for performance and longevity. The research evaluates construction, installation, water consumption, and sustainable operation. Experimental measurements of surface weight examine changes depending on water consumption and performance.
Additive Technologies in Construction: Shifting the Paradigm of Building
Vaněk, Vojtěch ; Chomová, Štěpánka ; Pěnčík, Jan
Additive manufacturing is gaining importance in the building construction industry. With 3D printers for concrete or other materials, there have been significant advances in the material properties and technical excellence of the printed structures, which has enabled their huge expansion in the construction market. If properly embraced, additive manufacturing in the construction industry can bring about fundamental changes in structural design, crating safer, more efficient, economical, environmentally friendly and aesthetically attractive building elements and structures. Another application in the construction industry is in space construction. Here it has a major role in the use of autonomous site control on distant planes, which can be first tested, used and developed on Earth.

On a slightly sloped plot of parc No. 573/1, k.ú. Broumov was designed to build a new by-thehouse with an establishment. The municipality's zoning plan defines the land as a pawnable flat. The building has 1 underground and 4 above-ground floors. There are 16 residential units in the building. The object is designed with barrier-free access. In the 1st floor there is a barrier-free housing jed-note 2+kk and housing units 1+kk, 2+kk and 1+kk, in the 2nd floor two housing units 2+kk, housing units 3+kk, 4+kk, in the 3rd floor housing units 3+kk, 2+kk, 4+kk, 1+kk and in the 4th floor 3+kk, 2+kk, 4+kk and 1+kk. The 1st S houses the basement cubicles and technical background of the building. The foundation structures are made by a system of foundation passports made of reinforced concrete, the circumferential masonry of the aboveground floors is made of limestone cinder blocks and insulated with an ETICS contact system. Stairways and ceiling structures are reinforced concrete monolithic. The building is roofed with a flat walkway roof.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the processing of project documentation in the stage of construction implementation. It is a new residential building with almost zero energy consumption. The residential building is located in Brno, in the urban area of Řečkovice, Brno-City district and is situated on flat terrain. It is designed as a five-story, with a flat green roof. There are commercial premises, a carriage room and technical background of the building on the first floor. The rest of the floors contain a total of 20 residential units, as well as a central staircase and an elevator. There are a total of 5 residential units of different sizes on each floor. The building is build on a reinforced concrete foundation slab. The load-bearing system of the building is designed as a reinforced concrete monolithic frame filled with ceramic masonry. The building is insulated with ETICS contact insulation system.
Detached house

The main aim of my diploma project is to design an office building. The diploma project is divided into three parts. The first part consists of architectural and structural design. The main mass of the building is a four-store block with receding floors, creating outdoor terraces. There is also an adjacent bistro next the co-working spaces. The structural framework is designed from reinforced concrete columns combined with beams. The building is clad in the EnviLOP system, which is a lightweight pre-cast panel-type wood-based curtain wall. The second part consists of a study of the building services. Heating and cooling systems are provided by a cascade of heat pumps ground-to-water with distribution system of activated ceilings. Heat for HVAC and for hot water is being provided by heat exchanger station. There are photovoltaic panels in the railings of the receding floors. Rainwater is being collected and used for watering green roofs. The third part, deals with the determination of runoff coefficients for extensive green roofs. Overall, four different roof assemblies were measured and evaluated using the method according to the FLL (2018) guideline.
