Using Graded Readers in Inclusive Teaching of Czech Language and Literature at Primary School

The diploma thesis focuses on verifying the potential of using graded readers in the environment of inclusive teaching of Czech language and literature in the 6th year of elementary school. In the theoretical part, it defines the concept of reading and presents the distinction between teaching reading in the native and non-native languages. It also deals with the position of the text, which has specific properties in language teaching. It provides basic information about inclusive education and outlines its principles. The work also presents a chapter that discusses the psychological development of a 6th grade student. The theoretical part closes with a chapter examining potential starting points for blending the expected outcomes of Czech as a second language in curricular documents and Czech language and literature in RVP for basic education. Concept of Strategic Development of the Company

The diploma thesis deals with the concept of strategic development of a company operating internet projects based on content. The first chapter explains basic concepts such as marketing, strategy, and basic concepts in the field of internet marketing. The second chapter deals with analysis of the current situation, internal and external environment of the company, market analysis and the search intent analysis. Based on the results of the second chapter, the third chapter formulates the concept of strategic development of the company for the next five years.

Valuation of the Firm by Using Income Capitalization Approach

The diploma thesis deals with the estimation of the value of the company by using the method of discounted cash flow and economic added value. The thesis is divided into several parts the theoretical part, strategic and financial analysis, the prognosis of value drivers, proposal of the financial plan, the weighted cost of capital, and proposal of the resulting valuation. In conclusion, the company’s objectified value is estimated to 1.1.2019.

Title: Composition of Academic Texts and Development of Academic Writing Skills in Czech for Foreigners Author: PhDr. Romana Kratochvílová Department: Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication, Faculty of Arts, Charles University Supervisor: Mgr. Svatava Škodová, Ph.D. The presented thesis focuses on the composition of academic texts of non-native speakers of the Czech language in an effort to reveal the causes of their difficult comprehensibility, although they do not contain obvious lexical or grammatical errors. The main goal of this work is to clarify the specific features of the structure of academic texts of non-native speakers of the Czech language. In order to fulfil this goal, we performed a qualitative comparative analysis focusing on the theme-rheme structure of the sentence and its inclusion in the context of the paragraph and also on the thematic paragraph structure and paragraph groups. The observed phenomenon within the expression of the theme was the use of thematic progression types with regard to cohesive devices. Within the rhematic structure, we examined the expression of rheme and the use of connectives to express rhematic relationships. "Šprechtíme" - Project for the support of German language in the Czech Republic

This thesis will deal with the project to support German Language in the Czech Republic known as "Šprechtíme". In the context of Czech language policy of the past two decades the author focuses first on the questions related to the creation, formation and promotion of the project. The author also aims to determine whether the project got into the subconscious of the Czech public (Prague and the border region) and whether it fulfilled the expectations of its creators. In this thesis both methods of qualitative and quantitative research (Interview, written questionnaires) will be used.
