The thesis is prepared in the form of a literature search and is divided into a theoretical part and a special part. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the description of acquired brain injury, neurorehabilitation, care coordination process and outpatient form of rehabilitation, including its effectiveness, availability, and limitations. The special part is prepared in the form of a literature search (scoping review). Klára Novotná, Ph.D. Title: Psychosomatics and its role in chronic back pain Abstract: This bachelor thesis focuses on exploring the connection between psychosomatics and chronic back pain. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a comprehensive summary of information on psychosomatics, including its concept, boundaries, and role within medicine. It also explains the different types of pain, their assessment, and individuality in perception. The issue of stress, including its origin, nature, and effects on human functioning, is also discussed. Additionally, the thesis examines the psychosomatic approach and its key aspects. The practical part of the thesis involves a research that determines the prevalence of risky psychosocial factors in patients with long-term chronic back pain attending physiotherapy. OF BACHELOR THESIS Author: Kateřina Neuwirthová Supervisor: MUDr. Natálie Šebková Title: Assessment of Peripheral Facial Nerve Palsy in Physiotherapy Abstract: This theoretical-practical thesis deals with assessment of peripheral facial nerve palsy in physiotherapy. The aim was to compare four selected assessing methods according to chosen criteria. Based on a literature research, the selected methods were three foreign clinical scales (House Brackmann Grading Scale, Sunnybrook Facial Grading System, Chuang's Smile Excursion Score) and the fourth scale was Janda's functional muscle test of the face. Theoretical part is devoted in detail to the neuroanatomy of the facial nerve, describes the mimetic muscles and their functions and outlines possible types of the peripheral nerve damage. It also discusses peripheral facial palsy itself, including epidemiology, symptoms, etiology, diagnostics and treatment. Some of the possible physiotherapy methods that can be used for this condition are mentioned as well. Title: Evaluation of Cerebellar Ataxia from the Perspective of an Occupational Therapist Abstract: The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of occupational therapy in patients with cerebellar ataxia, especially with the possibilities of examination and evaluation of ataxia using assessment tools. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the types of ataxia. Further focuses only on cerebellar ataxia. The paper defines the individual terms characterizing the symptoms of cerebellar lesions. It also describes how these individual symptoms are examined. Further details on the tools found to assess cerebellar ataxia are included. One chapter also focuses on the role of occupational therapy in patients with cerebellar ataxia. It describes the possibilities of occupational therapy intervention in these patients and presents some therapeutic approaches. The main goal of this work is to provide an overview of diagnostic methods for diagnosis of hypermobility used in the country and abroad and subsequently to test usage of selected methods in practice. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused to summarize current knowledge on hypermobility and hypermobility syndrome available in publications, articles and studies. In addition to information on diagnostic procedures, it contains theoretical part of information on etiopathogenesis, prevalence, clinical manifestation, classification of hypermobility according to various authors and treatment options for hypermobile individuals. Physiotherapy after total hip replacement. The use of selected Bobath concept elements in patients after total hip replacement

The theoretical section of my bachelor thesis is divided into two sections - the general and the special. The general section is focused on the anatomy and the kinesiology of the hip joint, the theory of the Bobath concept and on the coxarthrosis and its solution using the total hip replacement. The special section contains the preoperative phase, but especially the postoperative and the posthospital phase. It includes also a mention about some special physiotherapy methods, which we could use in patients after total hip replacement. The main chapter in the special section is The use of Bobath concept in patients after total hip replacement. The practical section contains two case histories of patients to whom was indicated the implantation of total hip replacement because of coxarthrosis. The main aim of this thesis is to choose from Bobath concept those elements that are suitable in patients after total hip replacement and to verify the effectiveness of these elements. The second aim of my bachelor thesis is to verify if these elements are possible to use in hospital inpatient ward. BACHELOR THESIS ABSTRACT Title: Physiotherapy in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis Abstract: This bachelor thesis is consisting of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is consisting of the basics of neuroanatomy needed to understand the disease, pathophysiology of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and clarify the term motor neuron disease. Then is the ALS described in more details, talks about its history, epidemiology, aetiology, diagnosis, clinical manifestation, classification, treatment and palliative care in patients with ALS. In terms of physiotherapy is first described the course of physiotherapy in the 6 stages of ALS. Subsequently, specific physiotherapeutic techniques are described, which are used in therapy with a justification of what we can influence with their help. The described techniques are respiratory physiotherapy, active exercise, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, passive exercise and the possibility of influencing pain through physiotherapy. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes basic informations about motor learning. It deals with its phases, types, factors that affect it and cognitive functions. Furthermore, there are mentioned physiotherapeutic methods that work on the principle of motor learning. There are also chapters about movement skills, virtual reality and the Homebalance system. The practical part is of a research type and focuses on data collection and their analysis. The study was performed on 15 respondents - healthy young women. The portrayal of women through gender stereotypes by Czech photographers on Instagram social network

The aim of this thesis is to analyse methods of capturing and presenting women applied by selected Czech male and female photographers on the social network of Instagram. The first subchapter addresses the topic of digital photography, the transition from the analogue age to the digital one, and the manipulation of the photographic image. The second and third subchapters study social networks along with their impact on the contemporary society, focusing in detail on Instagram and its visual communication. The following part of the thesis addresses gender issues, gender stereotypes, and social inequalities, focusing apart from others on gender stereotypes in visual media and on social networks. The practical part is based on two approaches - a quantitative content analysis of visual communications, i.e. research into selected Instagram content by eight male and female photographers, and qualitative interviews with some of these authors. The main research question is: "What are the manifestations of deep-rooted gender stereotypes in depictions of women in photographs by selected Czech male/female photographers on Instagram?"
