Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza způsobu zachycení a prezentování žen vybranými českými fotografy a fotografkami na sociální síti Instagram. V první podkapitole se zabývám tématem digitální fotografie, přechodem od analogového věku k digitálnímu a manipulací fotografického obrazu. Ve druhé a třetí podkapitole zkoumám sociální sítě spolu s jejich vlivem na současnou společnost, blíže se pak zaměřuji na sociální síť Instagram a její vizuální komunikaci. Následující část práce je v této kapitole věnována problematice genderu, genderovým stereotypům a sociálním nerovnostem, ve které se zaměřuji i na genderové stereotypy ve vizuálních médiích a na sociálních sítích. Praktická část je založena na dvou přístupech - kvantitativní obsahové analýze vizuálních sdělení, tedy výzkumu vybraných instagramových obsahů osmi fotografů a fotografek, a kvalitativních rozhovorech s některými z těchto tvůrců. Hlavní výzkumná otázka zní: "Jak se ve fotografiích vybraných českých fotografů/fotografek na sociální síti Instagram projevují zažité genderové stereotypy v zobrazení žen?" Tato otázka byla zodpovězena prostřednictvím šesti specifických podotázek. Kvantitativní obsahová analýza odpověděla na podotázky týkající se především vizuální stránky jednotlivých obsahů z hlediska genderové stereotypizace.... The aim of this thesis is to analyse methods of capturing and presenting women applied by selected Czech male and female photographers on the social network of Instagram. The first subchapter addresses the topic of digital photography, the transition from the analogue age to the digital one, and the manipulation of the photographic image. The second and third subchapters study social networks along with their impact on the contemporary society, focusing in detail on Instagram and its visual communication. The following part of the thesis addresses gender issues, gender stereotypes, and social inequalities, focusing apart from others on gender stereotypes in visual media and on social networks. The practical part is based on two approaches - a quantitative content analysis of visual communications, i.e. research into selected Instagram content by eight male and female photographers, and qualitative interviews with some of these authors. The main research question is: "What are the manifestations of deep-rooted gender stereotypes in depictions of women in photographs by selected Czech male/female photographers on Instagram?"
