Šíchová, Andrea ; Boukalová, Hedvika (advisor) ; Vranka, Marek (referee)

Nearly half of the cases involves right-wing radicalization, in one third of cases individual non-specific radicalization is identified, and Islamic and left-wing radicalization is represented in low percentage of cases. In the sample, we can observe a high rate of unemployment, previous criminality, low level of education, childhood behavioral problems, under-average intellect, increased aggression, or impulsivity. Dissociative personality, identity problems, or mental health issues are also very common. The second part of the research aims at evaluating professional preparedness of the prison...

Then it deals with nonverbal and verbal methods, which it distinguishes into four used methods, specifically SVA, SCAN, RM and MASAM. Empirical part aims on three methods, specifically SVA (only CBCA part is used), SCAN and relatively new method MASAM. Main goal of the research is to find out the probability, that the assessors correctly rate credibility of the witness testimony while using these methods and compare the results. Next aim of study is to compare results between assessors using these methods to those who use only their subjective impression. The component of the research is qualitative collection of criteria used by assessors in their evaluations. Keywords Credibility, verbal methods, nonverbal methods, judgement criteria
